Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close star Sandra Bullock is finally opening up about the pain caused by Jesse James, whose infidelity ended their marriage early last year.

The 47-year-old Oscar winner admitted in a new interview that she thought she'd never return to acting following the debacle, believing she was “permanently broken.”

"I was perfectly content to be permanently broken," Bullock said of the 2010 scandal, which started with revelations that James bedded Michelle "Bombshell" McGee.

The news of his rampant infidelity broke just days after Sandra Bullock won Best Actress for The Blind Side and gushed about James in her acceptance speech.

Bullock told the AP that eventually, director Stephen Daldry lured her back to set with a starring role, opposite Tom Hanks, in Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close.

"I didn't think I was in a place where I wanted to work or step out of where I was. I wasn't prepared. But the opportunity was louder than my head," she said.

Fortunately for her, and fans everywhere, she is no longer broken. In fact, she's in a better place professionally and personally, as a wonderful mom to Louis Bardot.

In this sneak peek of American Chopper, former Monster Garage Jesse James goes head to head with Paul Teutul and Paul Teutul, Jr., to build a new bike.

True to form, he's also got a lot to say about his personal life.

"I became a big shot and married some Hollywood actress and didn't talk to anybody anymore, so I feel bad," James says at the beginning of the episode.

His reference to America’s Sweetheart Sandra Bullock, who he cheated on rampantly, as “some Hollywood actress” is not likely to endear him to viewers.

As for why he came back to reality TV?

"I feel obligated to reconnect with all these people and show 'em that I'm still the same fabricator motorcycle guy. I'm not what I became," says James.

It’s not clear if James is blaming Bullock for “what he became,” but given the reasons for their marriage imploding, it's hard not to read into it somewhat.

After divorcing Bullock, he got engaged to Kat Von D, only to have that fall apart as well after he reportedly cheated on Kat 19 times (according to her).

James goes on to say that his bikes are "built to be punished." It seems that could also apply to any woman crazy enough to enter a relationship with him.

Reports that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are dating are not all that surprising and look to be at least somewhat true. And more than somewhat hot.

But did Lively hijack the hunk from Sandra Bullock?

It's a known fact that Reynolds and The Blind Side Oscar winner are close, but was the good-guy Canadian heart throb actually dating Sandra Bullock?

For years, friends say, she tried in vain to conceive with her biker mogul ex-husband, Jesse James. Finally, OK! claims, she's struck fetal gold!

Already mom to adopted 19-month-old son Louis Bardot, is Sandra, who resigned herself to raising Louis alone, ready to give him a sibling?

“Once the adoption went through, she was over the moon," says a vague source. "She’s never been happier than she has been since Louis entered her life.”

And why not? Sandra’s life has gotten exponentially better since March 2010. First off, that cheater Jesse James has been divorced and is no longer in it.

Secondly, Ryan Reynolds has been, a lot.

Whether her decade-long friendship with her co-star in The Proposal ripens into a full-blown romance (we doubt it) or not, and whether she's actually pregnant or not (we really doubt it), things are on the up and up for the star.

Set to wed Kat Von D this year, in what will be his fourth marriage, James isn't afraid to compare his future wife to his scorned, former spouse.

In an interview on Howard Stern's Sirius XM radio show Thursday, James was asked: "So who's more fun in bed? Sandra Bullock or Kat Von D?"

"That one's an easy no-brainer," James replied.

"Kat von D?" Stern asked. "Yes, sir. 100 percent. She's a vixen," James said of Kat. "The way she gets in my head and how she makes me feel."

"It's a mental thing," James gushed of sex with his bride-to-be, who stars on TLC's LA Ink. "We're just connected on a whole different level."

James freely admits that he betrayed Sandra Bullock, but confessed to Stern that he never felt all that secure with the Oscar winner at all.

Really, Star? That's the best you can come up with?

What could Jesse James possibly have done to betray Sandra Bullock this time? It's been over a year since his cheating scandal ruined their marriage, but if nothing else, he's moved on. Jesse's even engaged to Kat Von D!
