It looks like Salma Hayek is off the hook... for an insulting gaffe she never made in the first place!

In a recent cover story for the German edition of Vogue, the actress is asked about her role in Oliver Stone's Savages and was originally quoted as saying:

"I am proud to have been involved in this film with all these great actors. Honestly, I hardly had any memories of what it is to be Mexican. My life is completely different now."

It's true that Hayek is married to French gazillionaire Francois-Henri Pinault, but Hispanic blog Guanabee doesn't see that as an excuse for ignoring her heritage.

"What did Salma mean by basically saying she forgot what it's like to be a Mexican woman?" the site asked in response to Hayek. "That she's too French and rich for our blood?"

Salma Hayek and Madonna both gave new meaning to the term "Golden Globes" last night, donning outfits that accentuated their impressive bosoms.

First, Hayek appeared on stage to present an award alongside Antonio Banderas. We have no idea what it was for. Our attention was elsewhere.

The actress, 44, wed French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault in February 2009, and the duo share daughter Valentina, who turns four next month.

Despite his ongoing drama with Linda Evangelista (who he knocked up around the same time), Salma is a happy woman. Funny what $11.5B can do.

The Puss in Boots star tells Allure of her lifestyle, "I never understood the point of being privileged if you don't get to enjoy all of the privileges."

"Like, people who won't take their kids to an expensive restaurant, or won't travel with them, or make them pay for everything at a really young age."

"I think it's important kids have responsibilities and understand the value of things, but I think it's great I get to travel the world with my daughter."

According to the New York Post, Pinault spends upwards of $50,000 per month, via trust, on his little girl, on top of lavish vacations and gifts.

The father of Linda Evangelista's four-year old son has finally been identified, and it's the man many suspected in 2007.

According to The New York Post, the Victoria's Secret model was in court yesterday to hammer out an agreement with François-Henri Pinault, the billionaire married to Salma Hayek. The action taken there confirms this CEO is the father of two different toddlers with two different beauties.

He and Hayek have a four-year old daughter named Valentina.

No agreement was reached in court, as Pinault did not show up for the hearing due to a misunderstanding said his lawyer, David Aronson.

"We had understood that it was to be a brief, telephone conference, to bring Magistrate Troy up to date on what the status was," the attorney told the newspaper.

Pinault and Hayek were not together when he impregnated Evangelista.

The Spencer Pratt-Heidi Montag wedding may have gotten all the attention, but over in Europe, Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault - who quietly married at City Hall in Paris on Valentine's Day - also walked down the aisle again Saturday.

The two wed on the second floor at the Teatro La Fenice, an opera house in Venice, Italy, where guests arrived by boat, with Venitian masks covering their faces.

Among the celeb attendees: Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem, Ashley Judd, Antonio Banderas and wife Melanie Griffith, Woody Harrelson and Edward Norton.

Lilies, orchids and other blooms were delivered earlier in the day, so the wedding of Francois-Henri Pinault and Salma Hayek had a strong floral scent.

A five-course reception banquet took place after the ceremony.

The weekend celebration began with a rehearsal dinner at historic Punta Della Dogana. Guests at the masked ball included former French president Jacques Chirac and wife Bernadette and Charlize Theron and her beau, Stuart Townsend.

Asked about her feelings for her Francois-Henri Pinault, Salma Hayek, 42, told April's In Style, "He's the best." Truly moving praise if it ever existed.
