That doesn't mean it's an easy thing for her, though.

The 17-year-old admits she's having a tough time dealing with her decision to preserve her virginity, even though it's a choice she is sure is right for her.

One of this fall's best Dancing with the Stars competitors discussed what that means for Blake Coward, whom she has been dating for 10 months.

“People are like, ‘It must be easy for you because you’re Christian.’ That doesn’t make it any easier for me,” Sadie Robertson tells Us Weekly magazine.

“It’s something a couple really has to decide together.”

Fortunately for the daughter of Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson and Korie Robertson, her beau shares her beliefs when it comes to pre-marital sex.

Sadie Robertson stuck to her Christian values while performing the rumba on Dancing With the Stars, proving that those two aren't mutually exclusive.

Check out the stunning 17-year-old's elegant performance on Dancing With the Stars Season 19 Episode 8 Monday night and see what we mean:

A dance style known for its sometimes sexual nature, the rumba from the Duck Dynasty youngster brought her judges, fans and family to tears.

In a good way.

Before the dance, Robertson was seen during rehearsals expressing her concerns, noting that she didn’t want the performance to “come off as sexy.”

“I hope this week, it doesn’t come off as sexy, but it comes off as sweet,” she said. “It’s just so awkward to me, and when I get awkward, I laugh a lot.”

Aww.

Dancing With the Stars cast member Sadie Robertson might not be quite as conservative as, say, Jill and Jessa Duggar, but there are some similarities for sure.

Her father, Duck Dynasty star and executive producer Willie Robertson, gives the final approval to all of the 17-year-old's Dancing With the Stars costumes!

So far, Boss Hog hasn't had any problems with Sadie's looks, including a jungle-inspired feathered frock, a sophisticated gown and a fun fringed number last week.

Will her Dancing With the Stars Season 19 Episode 8 look change that trend this evening? We're not sure, but it sounds like she's going to be stunning.

"I feel like a ballerina in it," Sadie says. "It's so beautiful. I love it."

Designed by costume designer Daniela Gschwendtner, Sadie will wear the dress during her Rumba to "Diamonds" by Rihanna with partner Mark Ballas.

Sounds like that could be a mildly sensual number ... hmm.

Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson has been making quite a name for herself on a different show this season, surging to the top tier on Dancing With the Stars.

The 17-year-old high school student has had plenty of support from father Willie, uncles Jase and Jep, and newly-engaged brother John Luke Robertson.

Last week, a duck call-inspired samba earned Sadie and pro partner Mark Ballas a nearly perfect score of 37 out of 40, putting her near the lead on Season 19.

The routine, like everything in her life, was centered around family and faith.

Sadie says her life has been turned upside down since Duck Dynasty debuted on A&E, and while it's given her a lot of new opportunities, it has its drawbacks.

"I was 14 and didn't realize how big it was going to be," she said of the last few years. "But there's definitely been some bad things about being in the public eye."

Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson and her professional dancing partner Mark Ballas want you to join the Dancing With the Stars Quack Pack this fall.

The pair, among the members of Dancing With the Stars cast for Season 19 we're most looking forward to seeing, announced their "team name" today:

Ballas got tongue tied, so Robertson chimed in, saying, “Quack Attack! Be a part of the Quack Pack,” before flapping her arms like bird wings and quacking.

The 17-year-old rose to fame on her family’s A&E show, which chronicles the life and times of the Robertsons’ duck call business and silly shenanigans.

Sadie’s team name is more than appropriate, in other words.

You can watch Dancing With the Stars online or Duck Dynasty this fall to see Sadie in all her glory. But she's got some pretty stiff competition on the former.

There's a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum, a fashion designer, a Pretty Little Liars starlet and even a member of the old Mean Girls cast lacing up the shoes.

DWTS premieres Monday. Scroll through the cast below!

Above everything else in life, Sadie says, "Faith is obviously my number one priority and I think you need to put God at the top of everything you do."

On A&E's Duck Dynasty Season 6 Episode 6, Jase and company "debugged" the family duck blinds, while CEO Willie tried to teach the kids about business.

Because it always beats working, Jase took some of the guys from Duck Commander on a search for crawfish ... inside the duck blinds on the family land.

Jase loves crawfish almost as much as he loves frogs, so he's willing to go to great lengths to acquire them, despite what you might call occupational hazards.

John Godwin went into a blind and encountered a gator - one that was "Godzilla big, like a bull,” he said - but which Willie removed with his bare hands.

Godwin exaggerations aside, it was thus time to debug the blinds, or in layman's terms, clean them the heck out so there are no critters living in there.

Being a duck hunter, Jase explains is not what the public makes it out to be or what you would simply assume if you watch Duck Dynasty online.

It's serious effort, with a lot of preparation, tedious tasks and Jase's equivalent of paperwork - cleaning out the blinds. Still beats actual paperwork, Jase.

Duck Dynasty is back to stir more controversy (or mostly just good family fun, as the controversy seems to revolve around issues outside the show) on A&E.

On Duck Dynasty Season 6 Episode 1, Willie Robertson received an award from Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, a longtime, vocal supporter of the reality series.

Willie’s son John Luke was to introduce Jindal at an awards ceremony at Duck Commander, if he stops farting long enough to finish his speech that is.

At the Duck Commander warehouse, Godwin, Martin, Jase, Si, and Jep are busy making duck calls, and by that we obviously mean playing basketball.

Willie is not amused, or probably surprised.

At Phil Robertson and Miss Kay’s house, she is modeling outfits that she wants to wear for the event, until Sadie and Korie decide to take her shopping.

They find success, according to Phil.

Duck Dynasty Season 5 is in the books following an hour-long finale on Wednesday that was a little out of the ordinary for the popular A&E reality show.

How so? In between Willie and Jase trading zingers and Phil battling yuppies for alpha male supremacy was the story of a little girl who wants a party.

When you watch Duck Dynasty online, you'll see that despite the controversy and redneck jokes, the series is as much about family and heart as any.

In Duck Dynasty Season 5 Episode 10, Mia Robertson, Jase and Missy's daughter, was facing her fifth major surgery to address her cleft lip and palate.

Before her operation, Jase (a much bigger softie than he lets on) and Missy the youngster her the option to do whatever she wants as a big send off.

After hearing about a famous Uncle Willie and Daddy wrestling match, Mia chooses a big family reunion, with all of the extended cousins as well.

Dad did not let her down. "Cut to the Chase" Jase brings back his classic nickname from the Christmas special to do battle in the wrestling ring.

His opponent? "Get Back to Work" Willie, in the full-sized wrestling ring they rented. And they go at it, WWE style. It was weird, but in an awesome way.
