Arie Luyendyk, Jr. and Sean Lowe are the two finalists for The Bachelor, according to reports, meaning Ryan Lochte won't be rocking his Speedo on the show.

The Olympic swimming champ was actually in the running, however.

"We honestly briefly considered him," a source who works on the show revealed to E! News. "But we are going elsewhere. It's really down to Arie and Sean."

You'll still have a chance to see the athlete on TV this fall, as Lochte booked a gig on 30 Rock as well as 90210. But The Bachelor didn't say #Jeah to Ryan.

Arie Luyendyk, Jr., Sean Lowe and Jef Holm all became fan favorites during the most recent Bachelorette season, comprising Emily Maynard's final three.

Producers are still finalizing their decision, and a casting announcement is expected "soon." Roberto Martinez may or may not still be in the mix as well.

Assuming it's down to Arie and Sean, who do you think should be the next Bachelor? Vote for your favorite of the two hunks in THG's survey below!

And the Winner is?

Olympic swimming champion Ryan Lochte is still weighing offers from TV networks and producers as his stock continues to rise following the London games.

“I’ve been lucky enough to get all these proposals,” the athlete told Celebuzz, adding that there's one network in particular that he has his eyes on: E!

“Yeah, we’re talking to them right now,” Lochte said. For what?

His own reality show. “Pretty much, they follow me on my normal day, just training, doing my own fashion line,” the 28-year-old described.

And as for why he thinks the show would be a hit against all other reality TV fare, Ryan said, “It’s real. It’s not fake or anything like that.”

Not Keeping Up With the Kardashians in other words? Sold!

“It’s gonna be me, me being myself,” the hunk continues. “And I’m pretty much going to show the world that and my new fashion line.”

With gratuitous shots of Ryan Lochte shirtless, we assume.

The 11-time Olympic medalist hasn't been shy about his aspirations to break into reality TV, and has even been rumored as the next Bachelor.

What do you think Ryan's best option would be, if any?

Olympic swimming champ Ryan Lochte wants at least $750,000 to even think about becoming the star of ABC's The Bachelor, a new report says.

Lochte has been very open about considering the starring role, and his team has told producers that the above figure would only be a starting point.

How can he command that much money? Have you seen any Ryan Lochte photos? Enough said. Whether ABC would do it is another story.

"Ryan's agents are getting besieged with offers and deals, everything from The Bachelor, his own reality show, and movies," a source says.

The 28-year-old's reps will present all the current offers to Ryan Lochte in the next week or so, and decisions will need to be made quickly.

Quickly and carefully.

"Ryan is acutely aware that he has to attach himself to the right projects and endorsements that won't do damage to his all American image."

"As much as he'd like to, Ryan has reservations about The Bachelor because he wouldn't have control over how he is portrayed on the show."

Clearly he's not as dumb as some people think. In addition, the 11-time medalist will make a cameo on 90210 and has his eye on DWTS.

What do you think: Ryan Lochte as The Bachelor?

Olympic swimming great Ryan Lochte has apparently filed the paperwork to trademark his signature catchphrase, "Jeah." Yes, Ryan Lochte has his own catchphrase, and yes, that catchphrase is the word "Yeah" only with a J.

The application is pending.

Custom Lochte DVDs, gift cards, mugs, drinking glasses, trading cards, calendars, posters, swimsuits, swim caps, sports hats, and water bottles? #JEAH!!!

Ryan is already selling the merch on his official site. Unclear if he's making any real money with it, but the 28-year-old evidently thinks there's potential.

If you were wondering, Ryan says he got the idea for the phrase from Young Jeezy, who exclaims "Chea!" in his songs, and it applies to "something good."

Rumors of Ryan Lochte as The Bachelor are swirling ever since the Olympics, and last night, host-pimp Chris Harrison says he's very much open to the idea.

With a couple of caveats, that is:

  • Lochte must wear a Speedo the entire season.
  • Absolutely no peeing in pools at the mansion.

"That's part of the deal" Harrison said at The Expendables 2 premiere in Hollywood. "Did you see him in his Speedo? I mean, all of America stopped."

"It's a female driven show, come on!"

Lochte, who will guest star on 90210 this fall, said of the Speedo stipulation, "That's fine ... I usually already am. There's not much of a difference."

While conventional wisdom says the show will go with Arie Luyendyk, Jr., or Sean Lowe, Harrison says "I think it would be awesome" to have Ryan.

"If he promises not to pee in the pool, we'll be alright."

"If it gets asked, I'd definitely consider it," the 28-year-old swimmer said of looking for love on The Bachelor this winter. "So we'll see what happens."

Ryan Lochte and his abs are coming to the CW.

The 11-time Olympic medalist will guest star on 90210's upcoming Season 5 in a pivotal role as ... Ryan Lochte, who's apparently a guest at the resort where Naomi and Max are staying in an attempt to strengthen their relationship.

A far cry from the next Bachelor, but hey.

The 28-year-old, who made his "acting" debut with a Funny or Die video breakdown of peeing in pools, has shown definite interest in the entertainment world.

Will the swimming great build upon this 90210 appearance or will Ryan quickly fade now that the 2012 London Olympics are over? That remains to be seen.

In any case, he's indicated he will try to extend his amazing career through the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, so expect him back in the pool before long.

Olympic swimming champion Ryan Lochte will be in high demand when he leaves London ... and The Bachelor producers apparently have their eyes on him.

In an interview on NBC’s Today, the 11-time medalist mentioned Dancing With the Stars as a possibility, along with the long-running matchmaking show.

He's not the only one who sees a good fit with The Bachelor. Host Chris Harrison and Mike Fleiss, the show's EP, have discussed bringing Lochte on board.

Olympic swimming champ Ryan Lochte clears up any confusion regarding peeing in pools - which he openly admits doing - in a new video for Funny or Die.

Lochte has talked about going Dancing With the Stars, but another show might be more appropriate. If this is an audition for hosting SNL, it isn't half bad.

Check out Ryan's special statement about Peeing in Pools below:

The five-time London Olympics medalist also appears in “The Olympic Ticket Scalper with Patrick Stewart, Ryan Locthe, Simon Pegg & Maisie Williams."

The London Olympics are almost over, but will we see swimming studs Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps square off on Dancing With the Stars next?

A newly-retired Phelps said earlier in the week that he wouldn't rule out following in the footsteps of Olympians who have gone on the ABC show.

He'd probably do well, but if it's up to his teammate and friendly rival Lochte, he'd best prepare himself for some stiff competition on the parquet.

Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte

"Since I'm so used to competing against Michael Phelps, I'd go on [Dancing with the Stars] with him," said Lochte, who won five medals in 2012.

"I could do Dancing with the Stars! Yeah, I think so."

No doubt Ryan Lochte's sister and mom in the audience cheering him on alongside Michael Phelps' mom in what would be a rematch for the ages.

Or at least reality TV. Who'd you rather see on DWTS?
