Taylor Armstrong Book Excerpts: Skeleton Sex and Love for Russell
Taylor Armstrong has released a memoir that she claims is all about helping victims of abuse, not profiting from the August 2011 suicide of husband Russell.
Of course, organizations that help victims of abuse are still waiting for their proceeds from sales of "Hiding from Reality."
New excerpts from this book have now hit the Internet, so you may read them for yourself and judge Taylor accordingly:
On her sex life with Russell: He would make comments when we were sexual... about my weight. No woman needs to be criticized in that moment - criticisms about having sex with me is like 'having sex with a skeleton.'
On still loving Russell: I love him to this day and miss him terribly. I got out way too late. I hope by others hearing the story they may get out sooner. When I wrote Hiding From Reality, I wanted it real and honest. Some of it was difficult to write.
On the lasting scars of abuse: I think you can see my eye has healed, but these things are going to stick with me a long time and sometimes, the emotional can hurt worse than the physical almost.
What do you think of Taylor Armstrong releasing a memoir?

Taylor Armstrong Accuses Late Husband of Spying, Paranoia
It's been far too long since Taylor Armstrong bashed her late husband in public.
But, don't worry, the latest issue of Us Weekly contains excerpts from the reality star's disgusting upcoming memoir, "Hiding from Reality."
In the book, Taylor describes Russell as a paranoid stalker, someone who constantly asked her about past sexual partners and even posed as a potential employer in order to run a background check on his wife with her alma mater.
She even found a tape recorder under her home office desk once.
"For the next nearly six years, I always assumed I was being recorded in the car and at home," Taylor writes. "I was always careful to make sure the content of my conversations was very clear."
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season Finale Recap: Pandora's Dream Wedding
After a fairly dark season with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ,we're finally headed towards the light for the finale and thanks to Pandora, it's not white but pink.
Let's break down the event of the season in THG's +/- review!!
But before we attend the wedding, let's hit the bathroom. I have to laugh at Adrienne's horror when Paul invites her in to help with his enema. Plus 10 for her reaction.
I don't know what Paul's thinking but that's so not happening.
Other than airing an entertaining public service announcement on getting a colonoscopy, is this segment really necessary? Minus 8 because I don't think anyone needs to watch several minutes of Paul passing air. Maybe we can all get that IV sedation to go.
Over at Kyle's, she and Mauricio must be discussing which dress will look the least flattering on her because I can't stand any of her choices, least of all the one he picked out. Minus 9. For a woman with money Kyle could use better taste in clothes.
Camille doesn't have that problem. She just looks better and better this season. Life without Kelsey obviously agrees with her because she's rockin' that dress. Plus 10.
Back at wedding central, Lisa's starting to freak out a little because Kevin Lee isn't there. His assistant Anie looks quite capable but Kevin failed to mention he'd be manning another event up until a couple of hours before Pandora's wedding. Not cool. Minus 15.
But everything moves right along and I almost expected twin makeup artists but triplets? Plus 7. Only in Beverly Hills.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Recap: Night of a Thousand Surprises
They're back. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have returned to the mainland at last. Can Kim and Kyle keep it together long enough to get through one party?
Let's find out, and break down the tears, in THG's patented +/- recap!
It's the grand opening party of Lisa's new lounge at Sur and all of the Housewives are invited. But the real fun comes from the unexpected guests ...
Lisa's scrambling with the finishing touches but Sur looks lovely so Plus 8 for a job well done. But as Ken tries to give her a congratulatory hug, she's too busy to enjoy it and brushes it off. She jokes that Ken can get his cuddle next year.
These two are so funny they earn an additional Plus 5.
Everyone starts to arrive and Lisa and Brandi immediately poke fun at one another. Lisa's just happy Brandi's wearing more than a string bikini. Brandi goes to flirt with Ken who says he's much too short for Brandi, especially in her heels.
Lisa reminds him he's also much too married. These three are great when they let their hair down. Plus 10.
Brandi quickly realizes that a waitress at the event was her ex-husband, Eddie's mistress (no, not LeAnn Rimes). Well, that's awkward. Brandi tries to play it off but who wants to be around the woman their husband was screwing around with.
Lisa does the right thing and gives the waitress the night off. Plus 7 for quickly diffusing what could have been a bad situation.
Andy Cohen Defends Inclusion of Russell Armstrong on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Andy Cohen faced the press/fire this week at the Television Critics Association, answering questions about the new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and, specifically, why Russell Armstrong has been featured despite his suicide in August.
"He was given the option to not come back or come back and he chose to come back," Cohen said. "He had spoken to producers a lot vocally about how it had helped his business being on the show, so you know, I can't speak to that."
In an interview prior to the new season airing, Armstrong referred to the show as phony BS, warning that producers edit every action and every conversation.
Did they ever considering cutting him entirely from the show, following his death?
"We had many discussions, as you can imagine, for a long time about how to do the serious discussions," said Cohen. "And I think what emerged is the story of a woman trying to extricate herself from a bad, broken marriage in which she was unhappy and in which domestic violence played a part. And that was the story that wound up emerging from the season."
That, and very high ratings, of course.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Recap: Kim Richards' List of Excuses
The party in Hawaii continues but in true Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fashion, there's plenty of arguing, drama and tears to go with that wine.
Let's break down all the latest drama in THG's +/- recap!
We open with Adrienne and Paul taking a romantic hike along the beautiful island of Lanai. Adrienne admits that it's been years since they've held hands. Minus 9. That's just sad. These two obviously care for one another. They need to start having more alone time.
Kim and Ken finally arrive a day and a half late and that's when we suddenly have a contest for which sister can be more rude.
First, Kim and Ken don't tell anyone they've arrived. Minus 7. It's simply polite to pick up the hotel phone and let your sister and host know you've finally made it.
But Kyle hears them in the next room and in her best impersonation of a 13 year old girl, runs to put her ear to the wall. She even runs outside in her towel to see if she can spot them from the balcony. Minus 10 because that's just pathetic.
Then Kim and Ken are the last ones to arrive to Mauricio's birthday dinner. Are these two ever on time to anything?
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Recap: Leis, Lies and Lanai
When the party drama ends, the trip begins as we follow The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on their Hawaiian adventure. Will the islands survive the cattiness of these intoxicated divas? We break it all down in this week's +/- recap!
The White Party continues after Taylor and Russell are tossed to the curb and Kyle finally stops the waterworks. Plus 10 because I'm not sure how much more of her sobbing I can take.
Plus 8 to Adrienne for sticking up for Camille. Taylor claims her words were exaggerated. Russell swears it's all a lie. Off camera Taylor backpedals and says the allegations of abuse are true. With all the different versions flying around it's hard to keep it all straight.
But Minus 15 because it's hard to concentrate on anything with Taylor's lips filling up the screen. Someone ask her to go easy on the injections before Donald Duck gets jealous.
Back at Kyle's the party continues. Does anyone else find the Fatburger tent out of place? I'm all for a good burger but it's such an odd product placement. Minus 10 because it looks like the ladies will push almost anything for a buck.
When the party is over the packing begins and it's off to Hawaii for Mauricio's birthday.
Oh my God. Jiggy can't go. Will Ken and Lisa survive the trip without their beloved fur ball?
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Recap: Taylor Armstrong, You're Uninvited!
Just when you might think a party can't get more dramatic than Brandi's Malibu blowout, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills go and prove you wrong.
This time it's not so much about the crazy catfights as it is about who gets "Uninvited" and we'll recap all the angst in THG's official, weekly +/- review!
It's Kyle's annual White Party and despite that she's had a year to plan the soiree, she leaves everything for the last couple of weeks.
As workmen are still setting things up two hours before the event, Kyle is lamenting to Mauricio that the chandeliers aren't lit. He simply shrugs and says they're working on it.
Hey, the guy's doing all he can to look ruggedly handsome with his stubbled chin and white outfit and I'm not complaining. Plus 10 for looking handsome and remaining calm amidst the chaos. That particular talent will come in handy later on.
Pre-party, Camille calls Adrienne to let her know that Russell sent her an e-mail threatening to sue her for her "slanderous" comments at Lisa's tea party.
Camille shows her attorneys who tell her not to have any contact with Russell or Taylor. Plus 5 for sound advice but since they're all suppose to be at the same party tonight that's going to be a little awkward.
Thus starts a game of phone tag and no one can reach Taylor. Turns out she and Russell are flying back from Vegas just to make Kyle's party.
In the meantime the party's starting and the Housewives are having a group freak out with everyone worrying about Russell suing them. By the time Russell and Taylor arrive the entire tribe accosts them on the front walkway.
Taylor Armstrong to Write Memoir, Profit from Husband's Suicide
She's already given numerous interviews about the suicide of her estranged husband. She's released hospital photos aiming to prove he beat her.
So is anyone really surprised by the following fact? Taylor Armstrong will release a memoir in February.
The 272-page book will be titled "Hiding from Reality: My Story of Love, Loss, and Finding the Courage Within," and, of course, Armstrong claimed she is writing it to raise awareness of domestic violence.
“It will be a memoir and the abuse she endured while married to Russell, as well as another abusive relationship she was in the past will all be detailed," a friend tells Radar Online.
And all profits will go toward domestic violence causes, right? To help with such an important, personal issue? Not according to any sources, no.
As seen above, Taylor and Russel's marital problems have disgustingly taken center stage on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season. He was found dead in his Los Angeles home on August 15.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Recap: Adrienne's Fashion Show!
What would you expect to see at a fashion show thrown by a woman who is launching her new line of shoes? Oh ... perhaps ... SHOES!? Well, apparently that's a little too straightforward for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
THG breaks down all the drama and confusion in its +/- recap below!
For all of Lisa's protests about not wanting to go overboard on Pandora's wedding she does absolutely nothing to stop her wedding planner from doing just that.
Minus 8 because I wish she'd stop whining about it and accept the fact that nothing is too outlandish for her baby girl, including $15,000 wedding invitations.
Smoking designer cocktails are next on the list. When they say that the overpriced beverage is your personal, unique signature drink for your event, I always wonder how many people they've sold that same line to for the same exact drink.
Plus 10 for the sucker born every minute and those waiting to make a buck off of them.
Pandora requests that her mother's friends don't have a battle in the middle of her wedding. Good luck with that. Minus 5 for naivete when her fiance thinks the ladies wouldn't start a fight at their wedding. Has he watched this show before?
