Rupert Grint might have a very bright future ahead of himself in Hollywood. For now, he's just known as Ron Weasley from the Harry Potter...

Hollywood has a bit of a Peter Pan complex sometimes never wanting its child actors to grow up. But grow up they must as people do.

Occasionally, the actors and actresses we love as children make the transition to adult stars ... sometimes making a pit stop as amateur porn stars ... before going on to transition successfully into adult actors known for more than just their childhood roles.

Sometimes those transitions are less successful and we spend their infamous adulthoods wondering what happened?

(Drugs and alcohol happened, that's what. Looking at you, Lindsay Lohan.)

Others, like second-time mama Drew Barrymore, go through seriously rough growing pains and emerge on the other side bigger and better than anyone could have imagined. Maybe there's hope for LiLo yet.

And then there's Leonardo DiCaprio who just gets better and better with age. Seriously. He's a fine wine.

Take a look at these 21 child actors who grew up and stayed famous. Or infamous.

Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in The Piano. She went on to play Rogue and Sookie Stackhouse. Not too bad.

Redheads sometimes get a bad wrap in the looks department. They're pale, they're freckled, there's a whole day devoted to kicking them (thanks for that South Park!).

And yet there is something fascinating about redheads.

Maybe it's because they're so rare - only 1-2% of the world's population is ginger, and there have been studies for years saying they might eventually go extinct.

These 15 celebrities prove that though the gene might be recessive, their hotness is dominant. *rimshot!*

I'd be happy to do my part help keep the redheaded gene alive with any of them. Call me?

Did your favorite ginger make the list? Who did we forget?

It's a magical occasion for Harry Potter star Rupert Grint. The actor turns 24 today!

He's landed a role alongside Chloë Grace Moretz in the upcoming Dennis Wilson/Beach Boys biopic, The Drummer; and he carried the Olympic torch during its 2012 relay; but Grint will forever be remembered - VERY fondly - as Ron Weasley in the most popular film franchise the world has ever seen.

The birthday boy is rather adorable, isn't he? Send in your best wishes to the redheaded stud now!

Also celebrating birthdays today: Chad Michael Murray (31), Alex O'Loughlin (36), Craig Kilborn (50) and Vince McMahon (67).

In between the action of Transformers, and the screams over New Moon, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince hits theaters around the country on July 15.

The film is the sixth installment in this wildly popular franchise, and fans have been waiting awhile for it.

Originally scheduled for a December 2008 release, the movie was pushed back seven months. It's received nothing but praise from critics, however, and we're sure viewers will be quick to forgive once Harry and company appear on screen.

The cast, led by Daniel Radcliffe, endured a torrential downpour in London earlier this week for the world premiere.

But when you've battled Lord Voldemort - and/or the swine flu, as Rupert Grint recently suffered through - what's a little rain? Click on the photos below to enlarge shots of the cast at the event:

Swine flu is no match for a boy wizard.

Rupert Grint, best known as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movie franchise, caught the evil virus late last week, but ought to be well enough to attend Tuesday's London premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

"It has just been confirmed that Rupert Grint has taken a few days out of filming due to a mild bout of swine flu," said his rep. "He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members at the junket and premieres this week and will then return to filming directly afterwards."

In other Harry Potter new, Emma Watson is featured in the latest issue of UK Elle.
