Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are nearing a full-on reconciliation!

According to the latest issue of OK! Weekly, the "frost is thawing" between Ron and Kristen, with the former trusting his estranged girlfriend more and more. He reportedly really does believe her regret over kissing Rupert Sanders.

“Rob has always said they were soul mates and part of him still believes it," a source tells the tabloid. "So having to cut her out of his life has been excruciating. He hasn’t forgiven her yet, but he seems to be going in that direction.”

Looks like seeing Breaking Dawn's Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart back together may not be wishful thinking. The two have been reuniting in secret!

Speculation of a possible reconciliation between the estranged lovers has been swirling of late, and insiders have learned that they have in fact reunited.

At least physically. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson met up in L.A. last weekend; the actor's pals "think they'll be a couple again" before too long.

While Pattinson, 26, was crushed by Kristen, 22, cheating on him with Rupert Sanders, says another source, the door is "definitely open" to rekindle the romance.

At the same time, it's "easier said than done ... and clearly harder than expected."

When Stewart admitted to having a tryst with Sanders, she made clear she hoped her "momentary indescretion" wouldn't spell the end of things with Rob.

Considering that they never had sex, and how she was honest and apologetic - not to mention skewered by the media - there's been reason for hope.

Both have stepped out publicly since the scandal, but neither has directly addressed their relationship status; Kristen recently said they will be "fine."

Apparently, she's convinced her Breaking Dawn co-star that her fling with Rupert Sanders was a one-off and a mistake that will never, ever be repeated.

While it's far from official that Rob and Kristen are back on, and it may seem hard to believe, she was honest and apologetic, and he obviously loves her.

After many tearful talks, sources claim they’ve worked it out or are at least turning the corner, ready to move back in together and "focus on themselves."

Robert Pattinsin has forgiven Kristen Stewart for what he deems a "stupid mistake" and the beloved couple is now back together.

According to a report in Great Britain's The Sun.

“They pretty much decided they couldn’t live without each other," a Robsten insider tells the tabloid. “Kristen poured her heart out to Robert and told him it was a one-off and a mistake.”

There are no named sources listed in the article, nor any evidence to indicate this reconciliation has actually occurred. But Stewart did tell reporters in Toronto last week that she and Pattinson were "going to be fine."

Why would Robert take Kristen back, considering her admitted actions with Rupert Sanders?

“Rob sees it as Kristen made a really stupid mistake. After a lot of long tearful talks, they’ve worked it out," explains this source. “Rob can see how truly sorry Kristen is and has totally forgiven her. They really do love each other.”

The pair has supposedly even moved back into together, holing up and "focusing on themselves" at a home in the same Los Angeles compound where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have a residence.

And they weren't what many may have been expecting.

Asked about the status of her relationship to Pattinson, Stewart told reporters: "We're going to be fine. We're totally fine."

Those words marked the first time Rob or Kristen has directly addressed their tenuous situation, which, of course, stems from the latter's admitted affair with director Rupert Sanders.

He may now be single, but Robert Pattinson was far from alone at last night's MTV Video Music Awards.

With Kristen Stewart at the Toronto Film Festival, the actor was joined by Taylor Lautner, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser and Jackson Rathbone on stage and helped introduced new footage from Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.

"It's been an amazing journey and we'd like to thank all the fans of the series for your incredible enthusiasm from the beginning until now, the final chapter," Pattinson told the crowd prior to unveiling the fresh trailer.

It focuses on Bella as a vampire, along with her and Edward's daughter, Renesmee, and it includes this line from the reborn blood sucker:

"My time as a human was over, but I never felt more alive. I thought I'd be safe forever, but forever isn't as long as I hoped."

As originally scheduled, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will both make public appearances tonight. But they won't be doing so together.

Pattinson will be joined by other costars at the MTV Video Music Awards, taking the stage to present new footage of Breaking Dawn Part 2; Stewart, who was initially booked to join her ex-boyfriend and fellow castmates, will be north of the border.

She has hopped a plane and will walk the red carpet of the Toronto Film Festival for the On the Road premiere.

Fans are now left to wonder when, if ever, Rob and Kristen will appear at the same event.

Sources say Ashley Greene may replace Stewart at various stops on the upcoming Breaking Dawn press tour, although Pattinson has supposedly volunteered to walk with Kristen down its red carpet.

The only thing we know for sure: THG will be covering this estranged couple's every last move, every step of the way.

Sources tell Radar Online that Lizzy and Victoria Pattinson have made their feelings very well known to their famous brother. Simply put, according to the insider:

“They will kill him if he gets back with Kristen."

Lizzy and Victoria feel awful for their sibling, and they want to see Rob happy, but they are "pretty unforgiving over Kristen’s actions," this source says, adding:

“They believe Robert should embrace singledom, throw himself into work and not consider settling down with anyone until he’s ready."

Sounds like a logical plan to us, and it's one Pattinson appears prepared to follow. He is reportedly selling the house he shared with Stewart and may even move to London.

While we'd all miss him in the States, we can all agree that a clean, fresh, happy start for Robert is far more important than having him close by, right?

Pattinson "never fell in love with Los Angeles," the source adds, and was actually reminded of how much he loves England when he visited Stewart there during her filming of Snow White and the Huntsman. Ironic, we know.

“Despite making friends in America, Robert longs just to have a pint with the mates he grew up with in a local west London pub. He’s just a regular guy," reports Radar. "He misses [his family] very much and they’ve said they’d welcome him back with open arms."

Well... d'uh! Why wouldn't they?

While he determines where to go next, at least Pattinson might have another romantic option to consider. Sources say Rihanna has been texting the star!

Rihanna has atrocious taste in men.

But perhaps the singer is starting to see the error in her past ways, as sources tell OK! Weekly she's actually been making contact with Robert Pattinson ever since his ugly split with Kristen Stewart.

"They've met several times at award bashes over the years," an insider tells the tabloid. "RiRi thinks he's very cute, but nothing ever came of it because he was attached to Kristen - and it's not her style to steal someone else's man." 

Should we prepare ourselves for Rattinson?

Now Pattinson is single, of course. Does that mean Rihanna will make a move?

"She got Rob's phone number from a mutual friend and has been sending him sexy, funny texts to cheer him up," claims this mole. "At first, Rob thought someone Punk'd him. Eventually Rihanna convinced him she was for real, but Rob has been resisting her."
