There may never be an Iron Man 4.

But that doesn't mean we've seen the last of Robert Downey Jr. as this beloved superhero.

According to Variety, the actor is close to signing on for Captain America 3, which will be released in May 2016 and which will kick off a new phase of movies from Marvel Studios.

Jail. Prison. The clink. The slammer. Lockup. The brig.

Up the river. The pen. The pound. The black hole.

Call it whatever you'd like, but for the 19 celebrities listed below, the Big House has simply been called home at least once in their lives ...

Lil Wayne
The possession of drugs and weapons on his tour bus put Lil Wayne in jail for five months. That's fewer months than children the rapper has out of wedlock.

With Teresa Giudice having been sentenced to over a year in prison last week, we thought we'd try to comfort The Real Housewives of New Jersey star by at least proving that she isn't alone.

Plenty of famous people have spent time behind bars, for offenses that range from drunk driving to weapons possession; and for terms that lasted from two years to, well, three hours.

Who devoted a good portion of their lives to watching their back? Which star was without her freedom for a shorter duration than it would take to watch The Wolf of Wall Street?

Robert Downey, Jr. appeared on Ellen today and reluctantly confirmed a rumor that's been floating around for months: Iron Man 4 is a go.

Downey stated that negotiations are still taking place, but we doubt Tony Stark would guarantee the thing on live TV unless it was more or less a done deal.

It shouldn't be a surprise given the blockbuster success of Iron Man 3, but there were rumblings that Downey was eager to hang up his rocket suit.

With Avengers: Age of Ultron hitting theaters in May of 2015, IM4 will mark the seventh time Downey's rocked the manicured Stark goatee.

We've seen stars photobomb people before, but one's up there with the best.

Robert Downey, Jr., realizing that a fan recognized him and was about to take a photo on the sly, turned the tables on her in one seriously Iron Man photobomb effort:

Robert Downey Jr. Photobomb

The girl was totally doing the whole, "Oh, I'll pretend to take a selfie so I can really get a photo of him with the reverse camera and half of my face cut off" move.

This is Iron Man, though. He is aware of your secret plan. Very well aware of it.

Just as she was about to put her scheme into action, the 49-year-old star, briefcase in hand, graced her selfie with a fist pump and a very cheesy expression.

She posted it online, and Downey clearly got a kick out of his antics as well.

The actor decided to post the image on his Facebook account, along with the caption: "You're never too old, busy, or famous for a good photobomb."

Words to live by, and ones these celebrity photobomb pros also heed:

Forbes magazine has released its annual list of the top-earning actors in Hollywood, and you may find yourself astonished not only by the stars who took the top two spots, but also by the staggering amount some A-listers pulled in this past year.

Amazingly, the highest paid actor of 2013 has managed to do it again, as Robert Downey, Jr. took home a cool $75 million thanks to his ongoing role as Tony Stark/Iron Man.

Mark Wahlberg
The former Marky Mark earned $32 million in the past year, thanks to roles in films like Lone Survivor and Pain & Gain.

Downey played hardball before signing on to Avengers: Age of Ultron, and he's reportedly been rewarded with his biggest pay day to date.

And just how big has Marvel's tent pole franchise become? The number five spot on the list is none other than Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, who - despite being paid about half what Downey pulled in last year - still took home a not-too-shabby $39 mill.

But while the actors in the gallery above certainly aren't hurting, the movie industry ain't what it used to be and of all the past year's top earning actors, only RDJ (just barely) cracked the top 10 on Forbes' 2014 list of the most powerful entertainers.

Indio Downey was arrested for cocaine possession on Sunday, and the 20-year-old's famous (and famously troubled) father Robert Downey Jr. issued a statement today assuring fans that the matter is being dealt with.

"Unfortunately, there's a genetic component to addiction and Indio has likely inherited it," said Downey in an a statement issued to Us Weekly.

He went on to say, "There is a lot of family support and understanding, and we're all determined to rally behind him and help him become the man he's capable of being.

"We're grateful to the Sheriff's department for their intervention, and believe Indio can be another recovery success story instead of a cautionary tale."

Beyonce famously sang that girls run the world and based on the results of Forbes annual list of the most powerful celebrities, it seems she was on to something.

Thanks in part to her On the Run tour with Jay Z, Queen Bey pulled in an estimated $115 million in the past year, nearly doubling the earnings of her rapper husband.

Beyonce
Mrs. Carter tops the list. She pulled in an impressive $115 million in the past year.

Between rumors of marital troubles and the now-infamous Jay-Solance fight video, 2014 has seen Bey struggling with some problems in her personal life, but she clearly hasn't allowed the drama to affect her career.

Other celebs may earn more than Beyonce (Thanks to his deal with Beats Audio, Dr. Dre raked in an astonishing $620 million in 2013.), but according to Forbes  no one can match Mrs. Carter when it comes to sheer power.

Robert Downey, Jr.'s son Indio was arrested for cocaine possession in West Hollywood on Sunday afternoon.

TMZ reports that Indio was released from jail late last night after posting $10,000 bail. He was reportedly riding in a car in a car that was pulled over after police noticed one of the passengers smoking something out of a pipe.

Indio Downey and Robert Downey, Jr.

Indio's father, Robert Downey, Jr., suffered through a highly-publicized struggle with addiction that resulted in his imprisonment in 1999 and very nearly cost the actor his career.

Indio was rumored to have been involved with drugs in the past. The 20-year-old allegedly entered rehab after becoming addicted to prescription pills last year.

We know many musicians who have made the move from the radio to the screen. Some have been successful and some have been Britney Spears.

(Don't pretend that watching Crossroads isn't on your list of regrets.)

But there are more than a few actors out there who possess vocal talents greater than or equal to their ability to bring characters to life via carefully scripted screenplays.

Here are 15 actors who are surprisingly good singers ...

Hayden Panettiere
Hayden Panettiere is a tiny powerhouse of talent. She performs her own songs on hit show Nashville, where she portrays a country music artist.

You might not know it by looking at them, but these actors have often parlayed their singing talents into acting gigs. In some cases, they've abandoned the acting world altogether for music.

And then there's Kristen Bell.
