Rima Fakih Bio
Rima Fakih is Miss USA 2010. She was Miss Michigan prior to that honor, and is believed to be the first Muslim-American Miss USA.
Born in Lebanon, Fakih grew up in Queens, New York, where she attended a Catholic school. Her family moved to Michigan, in 2003.
Reportedly Shi'ite Muslim, her family celebrates elements of both the Muslim and Christian faiths.
Rima Fakih is a graduate the University of Michigan–Dearborn. She holds degrees in economics and business management.
She also holds a place in our hearts, and plans to attend law school after her year-long reign.
