Looks like it's SO ON between Chris Brown and Rihanna ... just not in the romantic sense this time. More like the passive-aggressive Twitter feud sense.

The latest Chris Brown-Rihanna split was confirmed by the R&B star, who said earlier in the week that "Im'ma do it solo" but didn't really get into why.

From the looks of their social media accounts, there may be some lingering bitterness on both sides, not just drifting apart because of long distance, etc.

Rihanna can be seen cozying up to and kissing a fan on Twitter in a couple of photos that are SURE to eat away at her on/off boyfriend Chris Brown.

The singer snuggled up to a guy named Justin Laboy on Sunday in a series of Twitter images, with the pair affectionately kissing on the cheek:

The photos found their way online after Rihanna's weekend performance in Newark, N.J., and just as the latest rumors of strife with Chris surfaced.

With speculation rife that the duo is currently in one of its "off" phases, these Rihanna pictures are only throwing gasoline on the proverbial fire.

And he's baaaack! Chris Brown returned to Twitter Sunday after a week-long absence, and marked his social media comeback with a photo of a scantily-clad Rihanna:

Brown peaced out of Twitter following his vulgar online spat with comedian Jenny Johnson a week ago, but remained active on photo sharing site Instagram.

His Twitter page is back up and running, but all of his previous Tweets have been deleted. Instagram is where to find him (and hot Rihanna pics) for now.

Wearing tiny spandex shorts and, like, NO SHIRT, the "Diamonds" singer shared a risque photo of herself on Instagram with the hashtag "#LondonNightLife".

Speaking of her ex, Rih recently Tweeted a pic of him shirtless in bed, leaving no doubt that he's hitting it again. Figuratively, that is. Not like ... you know.

Rihanna's relationship with Chris Brown continues to make headlines thanks to the former's own activity on social media. "Nobody's Business" or everyone's?

On Saturday, she shared an Instagram photo of her "lover" lying shirtless in bed. Brown's many tattoos and Bart Simpson jacket are clearly visible.

The two have spent a lot of time together recently, in and out of bed. She boarded a private plane to jet to Berlin, Germany, for Brown's Thursday concert.

"All alone in my big ole jet!!! See u soon lover," she tweeted en route to the European city, where she spent Thanksgiving with her "lover" and went clubbing.

The Internet is blowing up with a topless photo of Rihanna.

No, not the Facebook pictures of this singer half-naked in Hawaii. Nor the shots of her with blonde hair and no top. And, nope, we're not referring to those sexting images from last year.

This time, yesterday morning, Rihanna decided to simply post a pic of herself in bed, sans shirt, along with the caption: "The morning after! Hello November."

It was the morning after the artist threw a Halloween bash in West Hollywood, which drew attention not just because Chris Brown showed up.

But because Chris Brown showed up... dressed like a terrorist.

Despite the candor, honesty and genuine emotion she showed, some of Rihanna's recent confessions to Oprah did not go over well with people.

Joan Rivers pointedly criticized her interview Sunday on Oprah's Next Chapter, in which she wept talking about how she still loves Chris Brown.

Rivers weighed in on this surprising revelation as only she can ... and Rihanna wasted little time firing back at the outspoken TV personality:

Rihanna also told Joan to "slap on some diapers." Nice.

Mind you, in the interview, the singer alluded to the fact that Chris is in a relationship with Karrueche Tran, and said they are NOT back together.

Rihanna's comments were more about wanting to help Chris with his obvious problems and the pain of losing someone she called her best friend.

Is there something more between them? Will there be?

Chris' mom Joyce Hawkins might think so, but we're skeptical. Not that it's any of her business regardless, but if they're not even dating again, why is Joan so pissed?

Joyce Hawkins, Chris Brown's mom, took to Twitter right after Rihanna's tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey and posted a series of cryptic messages.

Fans suspect they may have been directed at Hawkins' son's ex-girlfriend, especially after Rihanna spoke extensively about their relationship on OWN.

Fighting tears, Rihanna admitted Sunday that Chris is the "love of my life", that he was her "best friend", that they still love each other and are very close.

Hawkins, who has reportedly remained close to the singer since her relationship with Brown ended in 2009, then posted this series of messages:

• "TELL THE TRUTH AND SET YOURSELF FREE"
• "NOT UNTIL YOU TELL THE TRUTH WILL YOU EVER BE FREE!!!!!! PEACE SOMETIMES COMES WITH A PRICE"
• "DID YOU SAY SOMETHING? DID IT HELP ANYONE?"

Only Joyce knows for sure what she meant and who those Tweets were directed toward, but the timing couldn't have been a coincidence, right?

Some have speculated that Joyce wanted Rihanna to tell the truth - that reports of a rekindled romance may actually be true. What do you think?
