Rihanna has confirmed that she'll take her new album, "Rated R," on the road this summer, leading a "Last Girl On Earth" North American tour that will also include another diva burning up the charts: Ke$ha!

The women, along with rapper Nicki Minaj, will start the proceedings in Seattle on July 2, make 25 stops altogether, and conclude on August 25 in Chicago.

Rihanna stepped out in London in MiH's "Olso" jeans last year, while Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester kept it casual in the same pair for a flight to Los Angeles.

Matt Kemp is projected as the sixth-best player in fantasy baseball headed into the 2010 MLB season. If hitting home runs with celebrities was a statistic, though?

He'd still be behind Alex Rodriguez. But that #2 spot would be within reach after the awesome 22nd birthday party he threw for Rihanna in Phoenix this weekend!

Rihanna was "shocked" by the baseball star's grand gestures, apparently expecting a small get-together with a few friends, but getting a whole lot more than that.

Kemp had been planning the event for a month to make sure Rihanna's birthday was special, according to an insider, and boy did he come through in the clutch.

Flowers, cupcakes, tiki torches in the pool, engraved bottles of Ace of Spades and Johnny Walker Blue, and a personal Jamaican chef? A kick-ass time was had.

Sounds like Matt Kemp's birthday bash for Rihanna was a smash hit.

Around 40 people showed up, including friends of both the singer and Matt Kemp, who topped off the night with a cake decorated with Rihanna's many tattoos.

"It was so sweet and she was really surprised," the source said. "She looked just beautiful." Especially in the custom diamond necklace her beau bought for her!

This guy's really going the extra mile. While she has been coy about dating Matt Kemp so far, they're leaving little doubt about a major love connection going on.

Only 25 years old and in his prime, Matt Kemp would be a keeper in any fantasy league. Looks like Rihanna might rate him that way in the game of love, as well.

Rihanna turns 22 today. What a difference a year makes!

The singer will ring in her birthday with a very "private and intimate" bash thrown for her by her boyfriend, L.A. Dodgers slugger Matt Kemp, according to reports.

Last year, a carnival-themed 21st birthday bash for her in NYC was canceled due to the craziness surrounding the attack she suffered at the hands of Chris Brown.

This year, with that in mind:

"(Matt) really wanted to do something nice for Rihanna as she didn't have much of a 21st birthday last year," says an E! News source. Nice guy, that Matt Kemp.

The party, which was going to be a surprise until she caught on, will be a low-key night with "close friends, Jamaican food, a photo booth, dancing and cake."

Mad booty shakin', come-hither looks and pop art in the style of Andy Warhol are featured. As are some fairly bizarre images and suggestive lyrics.

There is a zebra involved, as well as her wearing something resembling a cheesecloth suit made of gold and a leopard print cap. Pretty standard fare.

Donning outrageous fashion only Lady Gaga could compete with, Rihanna appears below in some pics from her upcoming music video for “Rude Boy."

The 21-year-old beauty from Barbados says "a lot of my videos are really dark and edgy and tough,” but this one is more along the lines of her roots.

Rihanna is really pushing the fashion envelope with this getup.

The "Rude Boy" music video, shot by Melina Matsoukas (who also directed the video for RiRi's last single, "Hard"), is scheduled to debut on February 11.

Rihanna and rumored new love Matt Kemp have certainly not acted like they're "just friends, "but she says she's single and will be at the Grammys solo tonight.

So what the heck is going on with this hot, alleged couple here?

A source close to Rihanna and Matt Kemp say the baseball star isn't exactly thrilled about the amount of media attention he has gotten since they began dating.

Dating a global music star, did he expect to be under the radar?

Matt is upset given "the negative publicity he's received over the last couple weeks." Does that imply he's the one sitting out the Grammy Awards by choice?

Rihanna and Matt Kemp sure act like a couple.

It's all good, though, the source says. Rihanna is cool with flying stag, but at the same time, "they are very much together and unfazed by recent events."

The negative attention and "recent events" would be rumors of Kemp's past with an ex-girlfriend and media outlets even comparing him to Chris Brown.

Kemp probably would have been happy to accompany Rihanna to the Grammy Awards if "this other nonsense" had not happened, an insider dished.

But, because things did, "He wouldn't want to take anything away from her having a perfect evening." Sounds like a pretty gentlemanly move to us.

Even better? Rihanna and Matt Kemp are set rendezvous next weekend in Miami for the Super Bowl. So all is well in hot, denied relationship land.

Along with the Grammy Awards Sunday comes the unfortunate reminder of last year's incident with Chris Brown on the eve of the music biz's biggest night.

But the "Russian Roulette" singer is focusing on the future. To that end, on Ellen today, Rihanna expounded on the latest of her "approximately 13" tattoos.

"It reads, 'Never a failure, always a lesson,'" the 21-year-old said. "Basically, it's OK to make a mistake, just don't make them twice." Words to live by!

Which, naturally, leads to questions about her current status in the land of love, where she has recently been linked to baseball star Matt Kemp.

"Are you dating anyone now?" inquired Ellen, never one to hold back.

"No, I'm single," replies Rihanna, echoing what she said yesterday.

"Really? What about the guy we keep seeing you with?" asked a surprised Ellen, referring to Kemp, who has been seen frequently with Rihanna.

To which Rihanna simply answers with a laugh. While we would love more info from her, at least she's smiling before the Grammys this year.
