Always a fierce fashionista with a penchant for shock value to match her music talent, Rihanna's pants-free performance was almost passe compared to those hot locks.

Wearing lingerie in concert? Always. That hair? Wow!

Her daring style shines live, as previous Rihanna fashion displays have proven. After all, who else could pull this off credibly - and while cranking out hit after hit?

Man. Hitting .299 with seven homers, 20 RBIs and one pop star girlfriend, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp is having a helluva spring.

The baseball star finally 'fessed up about his newfound romance at the State Farm DDF Bowling Extravaganza at L.A.'s Lucky Strike Lanes, too.

When asked if he and Rihanna were official, Kemp said, "Yeah! That's my girl!"

He added: "She's just a fun person. I love to be around her."

Right now, the pair has to contend with long-distance love, as Rihanna is currently on her world tour: "She's definitely not gonna be here for a little while."

"Hopefully when she gets back she'll be at a couple [more] games," Kemp said.

Perhaps that's for the best, as Matt's been called out by the Dodgers' brass for being lazy in the field and underachieving. He doesn't need more distractions.

Just being with RiRi may be enough to have Kemp's mind elsewhere, though. "She's definitely a great person in my life," he said. "I'm so happy I'm with her."

Sniff. Definitely a step up from Chris Brown ... or 20.

Rihanna performed in Paris Wednesday, and is making headlines once again - and not for falling on stage or for a mystery hospitalization this time.

The star, who recently started dating Matt Kemp, may be apart from her L.A. Dodger beau, but gives him plenty of pictures from the road at least.

Fans gasped at her tumbling to the ground, but the hit-maker brushed off the mishap and carried on singing on her knees, barely missing a beat or note.

The girl is a pro.

Hey, these things happen with the elaborate costumes and performances of a Rihanna or Lady Gaga. With the latter, hermaphrodite rumors also occur.

After giving a performance in Zurich Monday night, the third stop on Rihanna's Last Girl on Earth tour, her tour bus went straight to the Hirslanden Clinic.

The singer, accompanied by a few members of her entourage, entered the private facility. Cue obligatory headlines about Rihanna being rushed to the ER!

No mention has been made of the two-hour visit by Rihanna, but it doesn't look like there was any Chris Brown-style shadiness about this whatsoever.

The singer, who recently confirmed she is dating Matt Kemp, recently left the Dodger in L.A. to embark on her Rated R tour of Europe. Will the show go on?

The director of communications for the hospital, Alenka Ambroz, said that yes, Rihanna came to the hospital, but right now, "We do not know the details."

Calls to the singer's U.S. reps seeking further enlightenment have not been returned, but she appears to be okay, because she was in top form last night.

Whatever the problem, it seemed a faint memory as R packed the house in Lyon, France. She'll continue the tour tonight in the French city of Marseilles.

Now that Rihanna finally confirmed she is dating Matt Kemp, she's no longer being coy about it. Rather, she's being a supportive girlfriend in public.

In their case, being a supportive significant other means attending concerts (her) or Los Angeles Dodgers baseball games (him). Pretty cool couple!

Earlier this week, Ri-Ri was front and center to cheer on her man at the hometown team's home opener and watch Matt Kemp collect some awards.

Matt received both Gold Glove and Silver Slugger awards for his offensive and defensive prowess last season. As for his prowess in the ... forget it.

The couple was first linked together over the offseason during a romantic trip to Mexico. While they denied they were really dating, it was fairly clear.

They were all but officially together, from everything we read and shared with you, but Rihanna still played coy about her relationship with baseball star Matt Kemp.

"He's my boyfriend," Rihanna said of the L.A. Dodgers outfielder in a confession to Ryan Seacrest this morning, just hours after her performance on American Idol.

"It's new and it's fun," she added. "It's nothing too serious. I don't want anything that's going to take up so much of my energy and time right now in a bad way."

She'll be alright. At least this guy slugs home runs out of Dodger Stadium, rather than women. Try not to get too pi$$ed and start breaking stuff, Chris Brown.

"I just want to have fun, and that's what it's about," she said.

Matt Kemp and Rihanna: Officially boyfriend and girlfriend!

They were first seen lip-lockin' in Cabo in early January, although a few days later his agent was in denial mode. He then went MIA from the Grammy Awards.

But the pair became less secretive around the time of Rihanna's birthday in mid-February and when the MLB All-Star introduced her to his parents.

For her to drop the "boyfriend" bomb, things must be going great. Matt Kemp is also 3-10 with 3 RBIs through two games this year, so no side-effects there yet.

They make a pretty hot couple, don't you think?

While the American Idol community is buzzing over the judges' decision to save Michael Lynche from elimination (do you think it was the right call?), we'd like to focus on the two acts that graced the stage last night.

First, what can even be said about David Archuleta at this point? Young, cute crooners such as Alex Lambert and Aaron Kelly have won over many fans this season, but neither compares to this former finalist.

He showed why again last night, serenading the audience with a rendition of "Imagine."
