Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush are back together? Please. That rumor is so last week.

The latest issue of In Touch Weekly takes this chatter one... hundred steps further by claiming Kim and Reggie are making "secret plans to elope." So secret, apparently, that they're the topic of this tabloid's cover story:

Earlier this month, an anonymous source tells the magazine, Kim met Reggie in Miami and "didn't go out once," clearly meaning the couple was plotting a quickie, quiet marriage somewhere.

"They weren’t seen in public together, per his request," the insider adds.

Kim did recently tell Allure that her next relationship will be far more private, so it's possible she and Bush are at it again, on the DL. But the day Kim Kardashian gets married away from television cameras is the day Rihanna starts dating the man who beat her to a bloody pulp again. What's that, sidebar of In Touch cover?

Oh God no.

They were spotted on a lunch date over the weekend, and now new reports are filtering in that claim Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush really might be running back their relationship in the near future.

"They don't know what will happen," a source tells People. "They're taking it slow. They love each other so much and miss each other, but their relationship is so complicated."

Kardashian and Bush split in 2010, but rumors have abounded ever since that they could have a future together. And it helps that Reggie now plays for the Dolphins, a team based in Kim's second home.

Of course, if Bush really does intend to pursue the reality star again, he'll have to confront step-dad Bruce Jenner, who told Ellen DeGeneres this week any future suitor will have to go through him to get to Kim.

And, he forgot to add, her PR team.

While the death of Whitney Houston rightfully overshadowed all other happenings at the Beverly Hills Hilton this weekend, the tragedy didn't blind onlookers there to every other individual at the hotel. Case in point:

Kardashian was in town to attend Clive Davis' pre-Grammy Awards celebration, while Bush was in town... to rekindle his romance with the reality star?

According to those on the scene, Kim and Reggie were all smiles, posing for photos with fans and building buzz of a future reconciliation.

Why might Bush - a seemingly good, charity-driven, normal guy - want to get back together with the reality star? We can think of two reasons. Both are on display in one of the photos above.

The recently-divorced reality star has allegedly been dreaming about ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush, with friends even saying she wants to get knocked up by the Dolphins running back.

But that fantasy turned into a nightmare on December 26, according to Life & Style, when a fan posted a photo of what he/she thought was Reggie and Kim hanging out at Smoothie King... only for Kardashian to see the image and realize Bush had found yet another lookalike to date.

Describing the incident as a "wake-up call" for Kim, a source says she's "embarrassed" that Bush isn't reciprocating her feelings.

"She calls him way more than he calls her," the insider claims. "He's trying to be a nice guy, but he doesn't want to be a rebound or the next guy in her media blitz. He has zero interest in that."

But he does have interest in making the most of his life as a single man in Miami, as a club goer at LIV says Bush is "with different girls every night" at this hot spot, many of whom really do resemble Kim. Seriously, have you see, Mayra Veronica?

Overall, we do hope Kim and Reggie work it out. Or at least make a new sex tape together. One or the other.

“Kris just wasn’t the guy for Kim,” a source tells the tabloid. “Not as a husband, but certainly not as a father, and ever since they broke up she’s been thinking about Reggie more and more.”

The insider goes on to describe the Dolphins running back as "father material," something that appeals to Kardashian, who has never made a secret of her desire to have children.

"Kim has always wanted to be a mom and she knows she will be," says the source, apparently ignoring Kim's whining last month about how she may be stuck forever as an aunt. "She has always adored children and she is naturally very maternal."

We called it back when Reggie Bush was traded to the Miami Dolphins, and now the possibility appears to be a reality. If you believe this supermarket tabloid, that is.

The latest issue of Life & Style claims that Kim Kardashian and her serious ex have been talking a lot recently and are considering a reconciliation.

"Reggie reached out to Kim via text shortly after she announced she was filing for divorce to make sure she was okay," a friend says. "They've stayed in touch ever since, texting and talking. Kim was Reggie's first love. He knows she's hurting right now, but when the time is right, he'll swoop in and take care of her."

Previous reports alleged that Bush was desperately trying to stop Kim's wedding to Kris Humphries back in August. He didn't succeed, but, hey, now she's $15 million richer and single once again. Might this reunion have been the plan all along?

Reggie Bush and the Miami Dolphins lost to The New York Giants, 20-17, on Sunday afternoon. But did the former number-two draft pick win back an ex-girlfriend?!?

Over the summer, tabloids claimed that Bush was frantically texting Kim, hoping she'd call off her wedding. It seemed ridiculous at the time, but, hey, the tabloids called Kim's divorce from Kris in this case, didn't they?

Moreover, if living arrangements really were an issue for Kardashian with Humphries, they would not be in this case: Bush resides in Miami. Next to whatever red carpet event is lining her bank account, that city is Kim's second home.

Now that Reggie Bush is making his living in a city often frequented by Kim Kardashian, an insider tells Life & Style that the Dolphins running back wants to try again with his ex, August 20 wedding to Kris Humphries be damned.

"He's been sending text messages to Kim and leaving her voice mails, telling her she's making a mistake and that he's the one for her," a source says.

Bush may be "begging" Kardashian for another chance, this mole claims, but "she's truly moved on" and is excited topad her bank accountmarry Humphries in just over a week.

But should she be? Or should she get back together with Bush?
