It's not just Friday, people. It's Death Metal Friday.

In an incredible cover of Rebecca Black's hit song recorded nearly a year ago but making the online rounds again today, Jarett Norton and Danny Dodge have left their own mark on the teen's iconic tribute to the last day of the work/school week.

The funny thing? This death metal version of "Friday" sounds like a choir of heavenly angels singing compared to Rebecca Black's actual voice. Enjoy!

Don't worry, readers. Neither Paris Hilton nor Rebecca Black were nominated for any Grammy Awards.

But both bad singers still showed up at the event, posing on the red carpet in contrastingly colored dresses. Paris went white and long, while Black went black and short. Whose style do you prefer? Vote now:

Brace yourselves. Rebecca Black is back!

Rebecca Black on America's Got Talent

The 14-year old - who many believe represents the Apocalypse in the music industry, following her release of "Friday" - has released a new video, this one in honor of the single "Person of Interest." No, the track is not based around Michael Emerson as a mysterious billionaire who fights crime with the use of a special machine.

How successful will the new song be? We'll soon find out, but Black has set the bar awfully high for herself: the video for "Friday" has been viewed over 200 million times on YouTube.

What do you think of Rebecca Black's latest?

It was, perhaps, the most surprising result on America's Got Talent last night: Rebecca Black took the stage and put on a perfectly decent performance.

Granted, the entire mash-up of "Friday" and "My Moment" lasted for barely more than a minute. But, hey, hopefully it was enough to silence those jerks at Black's former school, as the singer recently admitted she was yanked from classes due to bullying.

Watch Rebecca perform below. Not the worst thing you've ever seen, right?

Turns out, Fridays are actually less exciting for Rebecca Black than most kids her age. The reason? She no longer attends regular school.

The singer admitted to ABC News in a new interview that she gets tutored at home because students started giving her a really hard time after her first single launched.

Black on the Red Carpet

"When I walk by they'll start singing 'Friday' in a really nasally voice," Black says. "Or, you know, they'll be like, 'Oh hey, Rebecca, guess what day it is?'"

Wow. Kids can be so cruel, can't they?

At least Rebecca has made some new friends over the last few weeks, as well. Among them: Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.

Rebecca Black has a long way to go until she's Taylor Swift. This is true for almost all artists, of course.

But the controversial 13-year old singer took a step in Taylor's direction last night by claiming the Choice Web Star honor at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards. Swift? She only went home with multiple surfboard, including the most prestigious one of them all: Ultimate Choice.

Which of these musicians looked best on the red carpet, though? That's up readers to decide in the following Fashion Face-Off.

It was a big weekend for Black all around, meanwhile. She surprised attendees at a Katy Perry concert and sang a duet of "Friday" with the mega pop star on stage. Check it out below:

Lady Gaga may be the biggest name in music, but she's never one to forget where she came from and who supports her. She spends an enormous amount of time Tweeting with the 12 million (and counting) Little Monsters who love her.

One of those fans, Rebecca Black, got a special shout-out Sunday:

Gaga tweet to RB

In an apparent reference to Black's new video, "My Moment," Gaga wrote:

“So it's Sunday+my Italian mother's gossipcircle reported that @msrebeccablack wears a gaga tshirt in her video. Shine on doll its ur moment!”

Gaga's moment of the day comes on The View, where she will be co-hosting Monday. We'll have highlights from that gab-fest a little later today.

Rebecca Black is well aware that she's more of a punch line than a respected artist.

But that's why the 13-year old has followed up her much-maligned debut single, "Friday," with "My Moment," a more mature track that tackles the topic of bullying and online hatred.

Black, Rebecca

"I wanted people to able to take me seriously because I felt like this would be the right thing to do," Black told MTV of the song selection. "I wanted to start building what could be a really great career, but this industry, it's so unpredictable: You could be the big thing for a month or four months, and then kind of fall off the face of the planet. And I felt my whole team kind of felt like it was a great way to put me here for an amount of time."

"My Moment" is the lead single from Black's upcoming album. It will be released next month and feature only five tracks.

Aren't you the one who said that I would be nothing? I'm about to prove you wrong.

So croons Rebecca Black at the top of her latest single, "My Moment," the official music video for which has hit the Internet.

In it, the 13-year old lip-syncs in a recording studio one moment, while viewers are then treated to snapshots of her life in other moments: Black arriving in Hollywood, Black walking the red carpet, Black reading a newspaper.

The young singer also breaks out a few dances moves. Grade them and react to the video now!

You didn't think you'd heard the last of Rebecca Black, did you?

The 13-year old, who upset both the public and her production company with the release of "Friday," will unleash a new single on the music world in exactly one week.

Titled "My Moment," the track will hit Black's YouTube channel and official website on July 18. It will then be available on iTunes a day later.

A video will accompany the single, one that depicts footage from the artist's real life, including her last day at her junior high school and her hosting job at MTV's recent Online Music Awards.

Perhaps President Obama will cover this song, as well. We can only hope.
