Prince is a weird, weird guy. But we love most of his music, anyway.

If you haven't seen Prince's post-Super Bowl performance on Fox's funniest comedy, follow the link and watch New Girl online right now. It's worth it.

If you caught it last month, you know that the reclusive rocker guest starred and performed a song titled "FALLINLOVE2NITE" with Zooey Deschanel.

The song marked the occasion where Deschanel's character, Jess Day, and boyfriend Nick Miller (Jake Johnson) exchange I love you's for the first time.

Prince and Deschanel also recorded a full-length version, which the Purple One released this week. While written mostly for laughs, it's totally a real song:

The single is now available via all major digital retailers and is being pushed to radio by Epic Records' promotion team, which is pretty hilarious.

Funny as it is, Zooey is also a serious musician.

Dave Chappelle stars on Prince's "Breakfast Can Wait" cover art, dressed as Prince from one of his famous Chappelle Show skits. Hilarious stuff.

Prince "Breakfast Can Wait" Cover

Prince joined Twitter recently and despite his lack of awareness regarding what a selfie is, his sense of humor is on display with this classic cover art.

The image in question shows Chappelle in a frilly, layered purple look with curly black hair while staring longingly into the camera, a la Prince in his heyday.

Beside him, and under the song title "Breakfast Can Wait," is a plate of pancakes.

Genius. As for the song, it's real, not a spoof. Listen to a clip after the jump!

Three years after he declared that the Internet is over (really), Prince is finally on Twitter. And what a grand entrance he made to social media this week.

Tweeting through the account of his band 3rdeyegirl, his first two Tweets were "PRINCE'S 1ST TWEET... TESTING 1, 2..." and "PRINCE'S 2ND TWEET."

Having apparently grasped the concept, the 55-year-old music legend then did what any good Twitter user does and posted a photo of his dinner. The caption:

"PRINCE'S 3RD TWEET: DID EYE ADD 2 MUCH PEPPER?"

Prince Tweet

Not sure about the pepper, but that is a nice-looking salad.

Rather than call it quits while he was ahead, Prince kept on Tweeting, bestowing upon the universe his "1st SELFIE" ... which is just a picture of some smoke.

Dude, Prince. You have to be in the pic.

Note to Bruce Willis: This is how you do a movie interview.

In a Q&A with Vulture this week, Paul Rudd was asked about his upcoming film Prince Avalanche... only he wasn't at all. He was actually asked all about legendary recording artist Prince.

From his knowledge over famous women who dated to the singer to questions over Prince's past hits, the actor was placed on the hilarious hot seat - and played along perfectly.

How did the conversation turn to masturbation and magazine? You'll need to watch this video for the answer:

Now this is how you close an awards ceremony!

Toward the end of the Billboard Music Awards last night, Prince received the Icon Award. But instead of an acceptance speech, the legendary artist shocked viewers with a rare television performance.

Watch him sing the 1984 smash “Let’s Go Crazy” here and then transition to his newest track, "FIXURLIFEUP."

Among other Billboard highlights:

In a new interview with Billboard, Prince makes his feelings on both Madonna and Maroon 5 very clear: the iconic singer is not a fan.

Asked by things ended badly between himself and Warner Bros. Records, Prince cites the Material Girl by name, telling the magazine:

"It was always about Madonna. She was getting paid, but at the same time we were selling more records and selling out concerts on multiple nights."

Howard Stern loves women with large breasts and little personality, so it should come as no surprise that he's coming to the defense of Kim Kardashian.

Earlier this week, the reality star was called on stage by Prince during a concert at Madison Square Garden. She proceeded to freeze, stand around like a mannequin and get dismissed from the spotlight.

But Stern, a fan of Prince as an artist, blames the musician for this embarrassing incident.

"Apparently she's supposed to dance like a stripper for him and she just stood there not knowing what to do," Stern said on his radio show yesterday. "He throws her off the stage because she can't read f--king Prince's mind. He's a bulls--t artist. I'm done with him."

Concluding by labeling Prince as a "scumbag," Stern said "he seems to be an arrogant asshole lately."

That may be true, but let's remember: Courteney Cox has a career because Bruce Springstein summoned her to the stage during a performance of "Dancing in the Dark." Kim could have shown the world a spontaneous, fun-loving side if she had responded in similar fashion to this sitcom star.

Instead, treating the opportunity like a professional athlete, she blew it.

It took Prince about 10 seconds to realize what the public has known for years:

Kim Kardashian is stiffer than Brett Favre when texting New York Jets employees.

During his concert in Madison Square Garden last night, the iconic artist invited Karadashian to dance with him on stage. Without a script, personality or any sense of spontaneity, however, the talentless reality star simply froze. It didn't take long for Prince to give her the boot, as you can watch here:

Later in the evening - likely after E! flew in writers to tell her exactly how to act - Prince gave Kim a mulligan. She proudly Tweeted about the successful follow-up:

"Went up on stage AGAIN! This time I redeemed myself! We all danced while Prince played the piano! Wow! What a night!"

It's a good thing Kardashian didn't freeze like this when Ray J turned the camera on her in 2007. She'd never have scored front row tickets to a Prince show otherwise.

Well, World Wide Web. You had a good run while it lasted.

According to a music legend, the computer age has already passed us up.

Indeed, Prince is coming out with a new album ("20Ten"), which will be available as a free insert in various magazine and newspapers in Europe this week. A release date in America has not yet been announced, but one thing is for certain: fans will NOT be able to purchase it from iTunes.

“The Internet’s completely over,” Prince told The Daily Mirror. "The Internet’s like MTV. At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated. Anyway, all these computers and digital gadgets are no good. They just fill your head with numbers and that can’t be good for you.”

Hmmm... if the Internet is over, how are you reading this right now? We just blew your mind, didn't we?

It's time to take a side in this feud. Vote now:
