Suffice it to say, new motherhood agrees with Kate Middleton.

Earlier this week, fans got our their look at her post-baby body weight loss, and it basically looks as if she never had a baby, much less just five weeks ago.

Now, for an encore, she attended her first public event since welcoming Prince George into the world, and was radiant as ever with husband William:

On Friday, the duo attended the Ring O'Fire Ultra Marathon in Anglesey, Wales, and were all smiles as they mingled with well-wishers before the race.

"Both looked genuinely happy to be there," an onlooker said of Prince William and Kate Middleton. "There was lots of laughter from the new parents."

"Many locals thanked them for being there."

Anyone who sent a note or a gift congratulating Kate Middleton and Prince William in the past month got a thank you note - and a royally cute one at that!

Prince William, Kate Middleton Thank You Note

The 31-year-olds are sending notes of thanks to the well-wishers who reached out following the birth of the Royal Baby, Prince George, on July 22.

The image on the front of the card is one of the first Royal Baby photos, in which the family stood on the steps of the Lindo Wing after his birth.

Kate Middleton is wearing her instantly-infamous cornflower blue and white polka dot Jenny Packham dress, cradling Prince George in her arms.

Reads a note on the back of the card:

Prince William says his son Prince George is already a bit of a royal rascal, while the baby's mother, Kate Middleton, is doing a fantastic job of it.

William told CNN in his first interview since becoming a dad that posing for the first Royal Baby photos the day after George's birth felt oddly logical.

"I was on such a high anyway, and so was Catherine about George, that really we were happy to show him off to whoever wanted to see him," he gushed.

"As any new parent knows, you’re only too happy to show off your new child and, you know, proclaim that he is the best looking or the best everything."

England's newest royal proved to be on his best behavior then, William pointed out: "I'm just glad he wasn’t screaming his head off the whole way through!"

Prince William made his first public appearance since becoming a dad today, and gave us some amusing insight into the royal newborn Prince George.

No Royal Baby photos just yet ... but royal laughs aplenty.

At the Anglesey County Show on Wednesday, Will kept the crowd in stitches speaking a bit of Welsh and revealing some tidbits about his bundle of joy.

"My Welsh pronunciation is bad, but it is slowly getting better, I hope," he said at the fair-like event, where he interacted with animals and thanked locals.

"Catherine is sorry that she cannot be here today at the County Show," he said of wife Kate Middleton. "She and George would have loved to have been here."

"He's pretty loud but of course very good looking!"

Kate Middleton and Prince William are debating using their own personal Royal Baby photos for Prince George's official portrait, new reports indicate.

This would clearly mark another break from tradition for these modern parents.

Throughout history, royal family portraits have been documented and preserved in the form of oil paintings, bust sculptures, and professional photos.

Here in 2013, could we see an official, royal baby Twitpic?

A royal aide confirmed that “one of the options they are looking at is releasing a couple of family photos they have taken themselves,” reports the Daily Mirror.

There are several reasons why Kate Middleton and Prince William would favor their own pics over a formal photo shoot, namely convenience and personality.

After all of the hype that surrounded the birth of the Royal Baby last month, Prince George and his parents have been laying extremely low since.

There's no Kim Kardashian-Kanye West-esque conflict about that, either.

After welcoming their son July 22, the couple headed to her parents' home in Bucklebury, England, to live a quiet life while adjusting to parenthood.

Royal Baby Picture

The first royal order of business after the birth was simple: sleep. For all.

Then the basic routine: Wake up. Tend to George. Eat. Sleep. Repeat.

Prince George may be the future King of England, but Prince William and Kate Middleton strive to bring up a thoroughly modern - and happy - baby.

It appears as if the UK is having a bit of a problem with male genitalia making headlines lately.

Last time it was the Pembrokeshire Herald running an ad for Enterprise that does a little more than pick people up and today it's the BBC involving a picture of Prince William with a bit of an appendage doodled on his head.

Prince William Penis Doodle

The photo of Prince William and wife, Kate Middleton, shows what happens when Brits get bored apparently. Perhaps there isn't enough Royal Baby news to keep them occupied?

While the penis may be making the news, let's not overlook the soul patch. I think we can all agree that it is probably the more egregious of the facial adornments.

Britain is about to be overrun by Georges now that the Royal Baby name has been announced, with a surge in popularity of at least 32 percent expected.

Kate Middleton, Prince William and Baby

Royal baby names are always trend-setters, and George - just as William and Harry were three decades ago - will likely be no exception in 2014.

The UK can expect at least 1,400 more baby Georges to be born this coming year, reaching approximately 5,740 in total, versus the past year.

That would push George, the son of Kate Middleton and Prince William, from 12th to fourth place on the list of most popular boy names nationwide.
