Appearances can be deceiving when it comes to celebrities.

Not in Kate Middleton's case, however. She's the very best!

At least according to her uncle Gary Goldsmith, who tells Hello! that his niece is just as sweet, smart, and smitten with Prince William as she seems in public.

"She is so kind-hearted, a beautiful girl inside and out," IT recruitment millionaire Goldsmith said. "I think that is the Kate people are seeing and the Kate I know."

"She is this confident, clever, caring girl who takes responsibility seriously. I think everyone thinks she's sincere, in love, and doing her job to the best of her ability."

The pregnant Kate Middleton is not a big fan of Prince Harry's new girlfriend Cressida Bonas, according to gossip sites dying to stir up a feud.

But is there any truth to this at all or is it royally bogus? Well ...

Kate Middleton and Prince William have been named 2013's most inspiring couple, besting Hollywood royalty, more actual royalty and even fictional characters.

According to a new poll of several thousand UK residents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge topped the list, which also includes his dad and grandma.

"It’s the first time we have seen three generations of royal couples make the top ten list of most inspiring couples," said Travelodge, which conducted the survey.

Following William and Kate Middleton came David and Victoria Beckham, with Jay-Z and Beyonce, and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie also appearing on it.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have some pretty nice digs on their "babymoon" - and are intent on keeping a low profile - in the idyllic island of Mustique.

Expecting their first baby in July, Prince William and Kate Middleton are staying at a five-bedroom villa set in lush gardens, which costs $25,000 a week:

Also enjoying paradise? William's in-laws! Kate's parents Carole and Mike and siblings James and Pippa Middleton all came along for some rest and relaxation.

Pregnant Kate Middleton and Prince William have escaped dreary, winter London for a babymoon holiday on the ultra-exclusive Carribean island of Mustique.

Expecting their first child together, the Duchess, 31, and Duke, 30, are kicking back in a luxury villa with a $30,000-a-week price tag - with her folks!

The babymoon is a family affair, apparently. The couple flew out a few days ago to join Kate Middleton's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton.

Prince Harry's interviews about his time in Afghanistan continue to raise eyebrows and some controversy - he's even reportedly drawn the ire of Kate Middleton.

From talking about killing Taliban insurgents to likening war to video games and openly discussing his scandalous pics, he is nothing if not candid.
