On True Tori Season 3 Episode 1 tonight, viewers will watch in horror as Tori Spelling cries multiple rivers over the failing state of her marriage to Dean McDermott.

Is there any hope at all for these two, considering the latter has admitted to an affair and the former is, well, Tori Spelling? We doubt it.

What happened to the once-happy couple? To bubbly parents of four? Two simple words: Greed. Infidelity. Desperation. Annoyance. Reality. Television.

The marriage between Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian lasted 72 days. Pretty much every second of it took place on reality TV.

Granted, Spelling and McDermott are still technically married. But come on. They're totally doomed.

But at least they aren't alone. It's rare for couples who appear on a reality TV show together to actually stay together, as divorces have befallen everyone from a Teen Mom to a sex tape star to... whatever the heck Jon Gosselin does with his life.

So as you watch Kendra on Top online and as you wonder how such mighty pairings have fallen, hold your significant other tightly and be glad you aren't doing it with a camera in your face.

Bravo may have just blindsided Porsha Williams by reducing her to "friend" status on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7, but that's only how she sees it.

From the network's point of view, executives and producers had long been fed up with her behavior before finally growing tired enough of it to demote her.

As it turns out, Porsha's demotion became public knowledge after The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 trailer's release this week for a reason.

She was going to be a series regular, but got knocked down a peg after filming had begun, after producers once again got fed up with her antics.

Even her monumental fight with Kenya Moore wasn't enough to get Porsha fired, but her actions once the new season began filming were her undoing.

Bravo tried to get Williams and Moore to talk things out, but Porsha nearly fought Kenya again ... and went after new cast member Claudia Jordan.

Porsha Williams was apparently as surprised as we were by her demotion to a recurring role on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7.

With the release of the new season's first trailer, and a not-so-cryptic message from the star on Instagram, we assumed Porsha is done with the show.

Not so fast, she says, assuring fans (which evidently she has) that it's not her final farewell to the hit series, or life ... just a new chapter or something.

Porsha Williams Crying

"It's not goodbye, you will see me on the show throughout the season sharing and bonding with the other women," she said in a statement Wednesday.

"I promise to stay connected with my fans as I start an exciting new time in my life."

It was not until yesterday's release of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 trailer that we learned of the somewhat surprising casting move.

While NeNe Leakes, Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks, Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey will be series regulars, Williams will only be a "friend of the Housewives."

With The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 trailer hitting the web just moments ago, we're hearing even more casting shakeup rumors than usual.

Which is saying something, because it's always something with the RHOA.

Yesterday, we learned that NeNe Leakes might be quitting the show, for real this time, from a cryptic tweet the veteran Housewife posted.

Now, Real Housewives of Atlanta fans on Twitter were abuzz again, as Porsha Williams seemed to announce her departure from the popular Bravo series:

Porsha Williams X Photo

Porsha tweeted the photo above with a caption reading, "No more peach for me, but I still love checking in with my girls #Blessed #SomethingMajor #TeamPorsha"

The "peach" obviously refers to the fruit that the women all hold in the show's opening credits. But what about that "something major?"

Earlier this week, after Nick Viall broke the underwritten Bachelorette rule of bringing up the Fantasy Suite on live television, Bob Beckel of Fox News made his feelings on Andi Dorfman clear.

"She's a slut!" the chauvinistic idiot screamed, explaining that Dorfman slept with one guy and didn't "tell the other guy about it."

The outburst made us wonder how Beckel would categorize male stars of The Bachelor who do the same exact thing every season - and also made us think back to many other instances where the S-Word got tossed around in a shameful manner.

Is Miley Cyrus a slut because of how she dresses and dances? Does the Farrah Abraham sex tape make its lead actress a slut? And should you ever really refer to your baby mama as a slut?

All profound questions. All worth pondering as you browse through the following slut-based celebrity scandals, starting with Beckel's buffoonery:

Fox News Shames Andi Dorfman
Andi Dorfman was called a slut on Fox News this week. Seriously. Watch the insulting clip.

It's shocking but it's true:

Going on a reality TV show in order to discuss your relationship problems rarely ever actually solves those relationship problems.

Just ask Kate Gosselin. Or Kris Jenner. Or Jake Pavelka. (Remember him? We're very sorry if you do.)

You could also ask Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, who awkwardly played out the consequences of the latter cheating on his wife via episode of True Tori... and who are now set to star on ANOTHER reality show together.

We're not sure if their marriage is real, if the infidelity was simply conjured up for the cameras or if two people can sink much lower than this pair.

But we do know Tori and Dean weren't the first couple to crumble in front of our television-viewing eyes. Nor will they be the last.
