Phillip Phillips Biography

Phillip Phillips hails from Leesburg, Georgia and his first flight ever landed him in Los Angeles, to compete on American Idol.

The young hopeful has a terrific voice and first impressed judges with renditions of "Superstition" and "Thriller." He plays the guitar well.

UPDATE: Really well, it turns out! Phillips is the season 11 champion.
