For a man who once criticized the current President of the United States for the company he keeps, Perez Hilton is setting the bar surprisingly low even by his standards.

Don't get us wrong, the celebrity gossip blogging king and the entity known as Speidi deserve each other. But you'd think all parties could find at least one other friend.

You'd also think that Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag and least of all Perez Hilton would not attract this type of attention during a night out, but such is the world we live in:

Hopefully, Spencer Pratt alerted and bribed this pack of celebrity gossip photographers half an hour before he showed up with Heidi and Perez. But sadly, we doubt it.

You know the man doesn't swing that way - which isn't to say there's anything wrong with that, or that his moves in the homemade video featured here aren't sexual in nature. For what it's worth, Perez sure can shake it.

Amid widespread controversy over Britney Spears' new single "If U Seek Amy," the renowned celebrity gossip blogger is responding the only way he knows how: Lip synching and dancing to the song and recording himself doing it.

WARNING: The following video may offend some viewers for two reasons:

1. Its suggestive title and lyrics, which, when said raidply enough, appear to imply that Britney Spears isn't singing about anyone named Amy.
2. It features Perez Hilton gyrating like a madman.

Say what you will about Perez Hilton (and we've said plenty), the man has become not only a very successful celebrity gossip blogger but a bona fide celebrity.

He's become so big a star that he's playing himself on TV shows ... ironically, in this case, the same show as his nemesis Lauren Conrad recently appeared on.

On November 11, the celebrity gossip blogger will be making a cameo - as himself, Lauren Conrad style - on Privileged, the CW's newest hit show.

The feud between The Hollywood Gossip staff and fellow blogger Perez Hilton is well-documented - but we can look past Hilton's immature, uncreative postings in order to unite behind the common cause of electing Barack Obama as the next President of the United States.

Earlier this week, we asked readers what they find so funny or unique about Perez Hilton.

We were inspired to see that a majority of respondents agreed with our assessment that this celebrity blogger may receive a number of hits to his website - but his posts are uncreative and mean-spirited.

Need further proof? Take a look at the story he probably spent a full 3.7 seconds on last night, one that refers to Rumer Wills as "fug" and tells her to "shave down that chin."

He then drew a penis on a picture of the actress. Now that's an example of humorous ingenuity!

On this photo of Rumer Wills at a screening of Pineapple Express, Perez Hilton catered to the lowest common denomintaor, drawing a penis across her body in an attempt to make nine-year olds laugh.

Earlier today, The Hollywood Gossip staff had the temerity to refer to Perez Hilton as "uncreative and unfunny."

In response, defenders of the blogger have pointed to jealousy as the obvious reason why we'd call Hilton out. One of his fans said we were meaner than Perez. We wonder if this same individual also thinks John McCain is running a better campaign than Barack Obama.

To back up our claim that Perez Hilton is an unoriginal (mean-spirited!) hack, let's take a post from his site today. It refers to the ongoing romance between Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson.

Hilton - the photoshopping, hilarious genius that he is - has written the word "Dykons" across the top of a photo. Does a Perez apologist care to tell us what makes that kind-hearted and humorous?

We don't question Perez Hilton's popularity; we question the quality of the posts made by this self-serving blogger.

Moreover, every time Perez Hilton mentions Samantha Ronson, he spells her first name "SaMAN." Get it, readers?!? Because, see, she's gay and she looks like a man. It sure takes a lot of effort to think of that.

Perhaps when Perez comes up with an extensive celebrity photo gallery - complete with a ratings system! - his readers can accuse our staff of slacking off.
