Another day, another ugly firing involving Paula Deen.

This time she's actually on the other side, however.

The embattled celebrity chef has cut ties with her agent following the recent fallout from Deen using racial slurs, which she admitted in a lawsuit deposition.

Deen, P.

Deen's rep, Elana Weiss, said in a statement that Deen "has separated from" New York agent Barry Weiner, who she thanks "for the tireless effort."

Thanks, but don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Paula, who's been axed by Food Network, Walmart, Target, JCPenney, Kmart, Sears and Random House, wants Lisa Jackson's lawsuit thrown out.

Deen admits using racial slurs, but a long time ago - not in this discrimination lawsuit, which she says is BS, citing the Prop 8 ruling as cause for dismissal.

It's unclear why she canned her agent ... but things can't be going too much worse at the time being, so at worst it looks like a lateral move for her.

Embattled celebrity chef Paula Deen is using an unusual legal argument to hit back at Lisa Jackson, the former employee suing her for discrimination.

Deen's camp cited the Supreme Court's June 26 decision striking down California's Prop 8 as a reason a court should dismiss Jackson's lawsuit.

How does that work, you ask?

Lisa Jackson filed a federal complaint against Deen and her brother, Bubba Hiers, for subjecting her to racial harassment and a hostile work environment.

Among other things, Jackson alleges that Deen made racist remarks about her employees. Paula denies this, but admits using racial slurs in the past.

Paula Deen has been losing endorsement deals left and right in the past few weeks.

PureMature (dot) com seeks to reverse that trend with a brand-new, six-figure deal!

A Paula Deen Photo

The porn company featuring older women sent a letter to Deen earlier this week.

"Full figured or thin, arthritic or diabetic, you embody our perfect spokesperson," the company wrote to "MILF" Deen, offering her "six figures for very little work."

To be clear, the site will not show Paula Deen nude. Just her endorsing the site.

Not that she'll do it. Despite being fired by Food Network, Walmart, Target, JC Penney, Random House and other companies, she's not that desperate.

Yet. The fallout from her racism scandal seems never-ending, so who knows!

Georgia history books report 458 lynchings there from 1882-1930, making for "a permanent bruise on the Peach State," a Savannah Morning News op-ed reads.

Better make it 459 after the treatment Paula Deen has gone through, her hometown paper says, after the treatment she's received over the past few weeks.

The Deen of Cooking

We're not paraphrasing, that's their word of choice. The opinion piece states:

"Savannah’s celebrity chef has been lynched - figuratively and publicly in the court of public opinion, and without a full and fair accounting of the facts."

Why? Mostly because the 66-year-old master of comfort food recipes and self-made mogul "said 'no' to the equivalent of a shakedown."

Lots of people still love them some Paula Deen recipes.

Ballantine Books does not seem to care, however.

Poor Paula

The chef's rough month just got worse with the loss of a lucrative publishing deal, despite the fact that her latest cookbook has soared to #1 on Amazon.

Ballantine announced it would not publish her upcoming effort, announcing that it also made the "difficult decision to cancel" her current best-seller.

The division of Random House also announced it is nixing a five-book deal it signed with Deen last year, believed to be worth millions of dollars.

Paula Deen has filed a blistering response to the lawsuit that is torpedoing her career, claiming Lisa Jackson embellished or made up her racism allegations.

Yes, Paula admitted using racial slurs in the deposition she gave, but remember that she has NOT admitted anything Jackson has accused her of.

Paula Deen is Pissed

Deen said, under oath, that she has used racial epithets in the past, in conversations with friends and family - never in a discriminatory situation.

She is fuming that Jackson, who was fired as manager of Uncle Bubba's Seafood and Oyster House, is actually asking for damages based on racism.

Citing discrimination and harassment, Lisa Jackson claims she is "African-American adjacent" - her partner has a biracial niece, she claims in the lawsuit.

QVC isn’t dumping Paula Deen, per se, but they are so on a break.

Both parties posted letters to the public on Thursday in the wake of the celebrity chef's racism scandal, explaining the nature of their future relationship.

President Mike George wrote in his statement to viewers, “We owe you an answer. We too are troubled by what Paula has acknowledged saying."

"We’re also troubled by the allegations against her. We deeply believe, as you do, that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.”

"We have talked with Paula and her team extensively over the last several days, and have considered what is best for our customers, for Paula, and for QVC."

"For now, we have decided to take a pause.”

Businesses are dropping Paula Deen left and right from lucrative endorsement contracts, but a big part of the chef's fan base is still standing by her.

Today, she lost Novo Nordisk deal that caused a major stir last year when she announced that she had been living with Type 2 diabetes for three years.

She was also released from her Target contract.

"Novo Nordisk and Paula Deen have mutually agreed to suspend our patient education activities while she takes time to focus her attention where it is needed," the company said.

Target also has decided to sever all ties with Deen.

Paula Deen lost another chunk of her empire Wednesday as Wal-Mart joined Caesars, Smithfield Foods and Food Network in cutting ties with the chef.

Wal-Mart carries a variety of products under her moniker, including food items, cookware and health and wellness products, at all of its 4,000 stores.

The retailer began selling her merchandise several years ago.

Deen on Today

"We will not place orders beyond those already committed," said a spokesman. "We will work with suppliers to address existing inventories and agreements."

Despite yesterday's Paula Deen Today interview, the fallout from her racism scandal continues, with the severed ties with Wal-Mart the latest blow.

Paula Deen's partnership with Caesars Entertainment has gone bust.

The latest casualty of the celeb chef's ongoing racism scandal, which resulted in her firing from Food Network, Deen was 86'd by the company today.

Apparently Paula Deen's Today interview didn't stop the bleeding.

The company "reached an agreement with Paula Deen Enterprises not to renew the business relationship," a statement released today reads.

While Caesars "appreciate[s] Paula’s sincere apologies," the company believes its move to sever ties with her is "in the best interests of both parties."
