The wedding of Taj Jackson and Tayana Jackson was a major family affair, with one notable exception: Michael Jackson's daughter Paris Jackson.

The Sunday nuptials of Taj and Tayana took place at the family's Hayvenhurst home, and "was like a family reunion," says a source inside the wedding.

Taj Jackson, Wife

Taj Jackson is the oldest son of Michael's brother Tito, and the older brother of TJ Jackson, who in 2012 was named co-guardian of MJ's three children.

One of whom, Paris Jackson, was conspicuously absent Sunday.

"No one said a word about Paris," an E! source says, adding that the troubled teen "really wanted to come but they wouldn't let her out of the hospital."

Paris Jackson’s suicide attempt came after she was told she does not have the same biological father as her brother Prince, according to a new report.

Paris Jackson, Prince Michael Jackson

The alleged revelation by the Sun (UK) says that she knew Michael Jackson "could not be" her natural dad, yet believed she and Prince had the same one.

Paris Jackson believed Debbie Rowe was their mother and an unnamed man their dad, but if this report is to be believed, she's learned this is untrue.

She was just recently given the news, the Sun reports, to prepare her for harsh grilling during the $40 billion Michael Jackson wrongful death trial.

A major identity crisis followed, along with a string of devastating fights between Paris and Prince, 16, and eventually led to Paris' attempt on her life.

Paris Jackson is not a fan of Justin Bieber, and we're not just talking about "Beauty and a Beat." She says he's a terrible role model for his young fans.

Michael Jackson's troubled daughter totally HATES the Biebs, according to reports, because he wouldn't speak up about teen girls cutting themselves.

Currently at UCLA Medical Center after cutting herself with a meat cleaver and OD'ing on 20 Motrin, Paris resents that Justin won't do more for young girls.

Justin's female fans often tweet about cutting themselves as a display of love for him, and rather than trying to talk them out of it ... crickets from JB.

Paris was also less than impressed by pics and video of Justin Bieber smoking weed in a hotel and thinks he's a "disgrace" who sets a bad example.

And last but not least, she lives in his Calabasas gated community and joins the growing chorus of celebs fed up with his dangerous driving actions.

She's not the first to play the role model card in criticizing Justin. Ian Somerhalder called him out last month over his monkey. So we gotta ask, THGers:

Is Justin Bieber a good role model?

Debbie Rowe is not feuding with the Jackson family and is not planning to wrestle away legal guardianship of Paris Jackson, despite reports to the contrary.

Unless the situation changes drastically, she will make no such overtures, because she has too much respect for Michael's wishes, his mother and his kids.

She'd be willing to step in under certain circumstances, but it's not her wish.

Rowe doesn't want to split up MJ's three children (two of whom she is the biological mother of) and "likes and respects" Katherine Jackson, their grandmother.

This is all way too logical and clear-headed for a Jackson family article.

Paris Jackson is stable following her recent suicide attempt, and her condition is improving, but she's still dealing with some pretty heavy issues emotionally.

Chief among them? She never properly grieved or emotionally processed Michael Jackson's 2009 death, sources connected with the Jackson family say.

Currently in treatment at UCLA Medical Center, Paris has felt the impact of bullying on social media and websites, and has let it "really get to her."

She does not have access to her phone or the Internet, so the problem is on the back burner for now, however it's only a matter of time until it returns.

Paris Jackson's mom Debbie Rowe is back in the news amid speculation that she may seek control of the troubled teen, though sources say this is premature.

Rowe, who was forging a close bond with her daughter before her suicide attempt (the Paris Jackson 911 call was released today), is not angling to take over.

Paris Jackson and Debbie Rowe

While she is planning to host Paris at her California horse farm this summer, she does not want to oust her grandmother, Katherine Jackson, in any way.

“It would take Katherine dying or becoming very ill for Debbie to seek legal guardianship,” said a source, despite reports of animosity with the family.

Only if the judge makes a dramatic decision to strip Katherine of custody AND Paris wanted her to step in, then Rowe would be ready to do so.

Paris could even live with Rowe indefinitely and “it still wouldn’t change the legal guardianship” situation, the source insisted, nor does it have to.

“Katherine isn't giving up the role because she feels it would let Michael down, and Debbie has too much respect for Katherine and Michael to fight her."

Would Rowe as guardian be in Paris' best interest, though? Vote in our poll:

The audio of the 911 call placed after Paris Jackson's suicide attempt been released. It's disturbing and sad, pretty much confirming what we've already known.

The call from the Lost Hills Sheriff's Dept. to the L.A. County Fire Dept. June 5 reported that Paris "OD'd on 20 Motrin and cut her arm with a kitchen knife."

The Sheriff's Dept. reports that Paris Jackson is "awake and breathing."

Officials can be heard telling the Sheriff's Department that it wasn't a dangerous situation; the 911 call was made after Paris herself dialed a suicide hotline.

Michael Jackson's family is outraged and prepared to put forth a united front in opposition to any effort to make Debbie Rowe guardian of Paris Jackson.

Rowe, Paris' biological mother, has not made any move to become her guardian after last week's suicide attempt, but she's open to it if Paris wants it.

Paris Jackson is having trouble connecting with grandmother Katherine, and recently established a bond with mom Debbie over the last few months.

While Paris' identity crisis and desire to get to know her mother are no doubt genuinely motivated, family members say Debbie's angle is quite different.

Basically, they say she just wants to put herself in the public eye.

Is Debbie Rowe poised to become Paris Jackson's legal guardian after all these years?

If the 15-year-old wants it, and she very well might, in light of recent events, it's likely.

The custody judge in the teen's guardianship case has ordered an investigation into her welfare after the stunning Paris Jackson suicide attempt last week.

Debbie Rowe has, thus far, made no attempt to become Paris' legal guardian. That title belongs to Katherine Jackson, Michael's mother, and T.J. Jackson.

T.J., Tito's son, is Paris' cousin. He was installed as co-guardian last summer, but all of this could change if the judge deems it in Paris' best interest.

Is Paris Jackson suffering from an identity crisis? And are the unorthodox parenting decisions of Michael Jackson himself to blame for his daughter's woes?

As decisions are being made on how to best treat the 15-year-old after Paris Jackson's suicide attempt, those close to her are wondering what went wrong.

Paris Jackson Dancing

There is no denying that Michael Jackson was a loving father who tried to protect his kids from the pain and suffering he faced as a child in the public spotlight.

But MJ's untimely death at the age of 50 and the trauma that his passing would cause them - directly and indirectly - were things he could not foresee.

Some family friends say the long-term damage done by isolating his children from much of the world and their mother became an issue after his passing.
