In news as stunning as it is devastating, The World According to Paris will not be returning for a second season on Oxygen, New York Magazine reports.

Pour out some of your Appletini for Paris' latest reality show.

According to N.Y. Magazine, Hilton's show earned barely 400,000 viewers in its June debut and sunk even lower in airings for subsequent episodes.

Not even an appearance by THG could salvage the show.

"I wanted the show to be as real as possible," said the 30-year-old Paris, who appeared alongside mom Kathy Hilton, boyfriend Cy Waits and Brooke Mueller.

"There's a lot of things in the show that I'm like, 'Oh my God, I cannot believe I'm going to allow this on television.' Years ago I'd have been like, 'No way.'"

What things does she mean? No one will ever know.

Hilton isn't taking it too hard, though, despite walking off Good Morning America when grilled about her dwindling relevance this summer. She tweeted that she's "loving life," "excited for all of my upcoming projects" and "super busy."

THG makes its reality show debut tonight.

On the latest episode of The World According to Paris, the star and her friend are surfing the Internet when they come across a January article that asks whether or not Hilton is getting into porn.

We based that guess on a sighting of Paris outside of Digital Playground, one of the world's biggest adult film companies. Sadly, we got it wrong.

But, fortunately, Paris doesn't appear to blame our staff for the error. She instead directs her annoyance at her new assistant. Take a look at our role on the show in this clip:

It's come to this for Paris Hilton, the woman who set the stage for Kim Kardashian, Heidi Montag and other professional celebrities who are far more famous for social networking than for any kind of talent:

She's less popular than Aubrey O'Day.

Paris Hilton Reality Show Still

The Wednesday night premiere of The World According to Paris, in which Hilton sunk to new, hypocritical depths, drew a mere 409,000 viewers.

Even by the standard of Oxygen, that's abysmal. By comparison, O'Day's reality show, All About Aubrey, garnered 724,000 viewers for its debut on that network.

It's time for Paris to realize: she's been out Paris Hilton-ed by Kardashian and company. And, maybe more importantly, she is REALLY unlikable.

On Tuesday evening, Paris Hilton took hypocrisy to a whole new level, whining about the very sex tape that has made her famous.

Then, Oxygen premiered The World According to Paris last night and we were proven wrong: this heiress can sink even lower. Through a series of self-serving, obnoxious, contradictory quotes, Hilton may have given us an honest look at herself.

But she simply proved to be a shallow, disrespectful, ignorant person in the process. To wit:

The World According to Paris Logo

On why she is so mean to Kristen, the assistant of Brooke Mueller: "Some people just give me this weird vibe and she did that."

On the past porn-writing career of her new assistant: "What you do is something that really hurt me in my life, you know, something that someone did to me and made me famous in the process."

On her persona, spoken in narration while we see her dancing at a club: "I'm known as a party girl, and I'm really trying to change my image."

On her sentence for drug possession: "Because of a little incident in Las Vegas last year, I have to do 200 hours of community service and it really sucks balls."

On a stalker: "It's not my fault if people are still obsessed with me!"

Don't worry, Paris. Anyone watched this nonsense last night will definitely leave you alone in the future.

Paris Hilton is returning to reality TV June 1.

She promises that her new show on Oxygen, The World According to Paris, which also features Brooke Mueller, will provide massive amounts of drama.

The socialite says viewers will see "everything" unfold with her pal and costar Brooke, who's been publicly fighting addiction and her ex, Charlie Sheen.

"Brooke's an open book," Hilton told People at NBC Universal's Summer Press Day in Pasadena, Calif. "She's not afraid to show who she is."

"She's not afraid to tell the truth. And as a producer of the show, I love that for TV. I love someone who's not afraid to show everything."

Hilton and her mom Kathy continue to stand by Brooke Mueller, who has battled addiction for some time and recently fell off the wagon.

"What she's going through is a daily struggle," Kathy says.

Things you didn't expect when you got up today: Charlie Sheen's heavily played-out “winning” tagline remixed in a bad rap song hyping Paris Hilton's new show!

Paris' new show (co-starring none other than Sheen's ex Brooke Mueller), The World According To Paris, debuts soon on Oxygen. THG, for one, cannot WAIT.

This promo isn't official (at least we hope not), but might as well be. If anyone on this planet is #WINNING every moment, it's Paris Whitney Hilton ...

Late last week, Kim Kardashian destroyed every eardrum in Las Vegas with the first rendition of her single "Tune It Up." It was seriously atrocious stuff.

But was it the worst song ever unleashed? That remains to be decided.

Kim has serious competition from an assortment of other reality stars who were convinced the public needed to do more than just watch them recite scripted lines on television. Below, starting with Kardashian's foray into the industry, we've compiled a quintet of truly awful tunes. Listen to each and then vote on the worst of the worst...

We can now replace the question marks in this headline: a Paris Hilton reality show, featuring Brooke Mueller, really is coming soon.

The Oxygen network has confirmed this astounding, ridiculous news in a statement that reads: "Paris has led a very public, jet-setting life. As she enters the next stage of her life, the provocative heiress and her life beyond what we see in the tabloids will become the focus [on the show]."

Wait, so Paris does things other than snort cocaine and get involved in hit-and-runs with her boyfriend? Writers are likely hard at work on scripts that prove this is the case.

Pathetic Paris

Joining Hilton on the series will be her mother, photographer Jennifer Rovero, socialite Allison Melnick and, yes, Charlie Sheen's recently-abused wife. Or ex-wife. Or soon-to-be-ex-wife. It's unclear.

But this much is not: Mueller has a publicized history of drug abuse, along with two small children. Is signing on for a reality show with Paris Hilton really a step in the right direction?

One is an alleged cocaine user. The other is the abused, soon-to-be ex-wife of Charlie Sheen.

Together, they form the unlikeliest reality TV pairing since Levi Johnston and the Alaskan Mayoral office. That's right, folks, Paris Hilton and Brooke Mueller are reportedly filming a series together.

Paris in Hawaii

Paris Hilton + Brooke Mueller = Reality TV at its most ridiculous.

The rumor stems from Brooke's publicist, Elliot Mintz, who confirms to TMZ that his client left her Los Angeles residence last week to get involved in an "intensive, physical fitness program in Southern California."

Weird, right? It gets even weirder.

Casey Reinhardt, the sister of Paris Hilton's beau Doug Reinhardt and best known as the blonde girl on Laguna Beach not named Kristin Cavallari or Lauren Conrad, is getting her own reality show on E!, with Doug serving as producer.

Got all that?

According to reports, Doug is envisioning a Kardashian-style show for Casey Reinhardt and her girlfriends, in which he and Paris Hilton will also appear periodically.

Why would E! possibly go for this?

Insiders say the network hopes for wedding bells between Paris and Doug, which could deliver a big ratings bonanza similar to Khloe Kardashian's tearful nuptials.

Would you watch a Casey Reinhardt reality show?

Over 3.2 million viewers tuned in last November to see Khloe marry Lamar Odom. E! hopes that Paris Hilton can pull in that many, or at least in the same ballpark.

An inside source told the N.Y. Post, "Doug and Paris will also appear on the show, and executives hope that an engagement will happen in the next six months."

Hey, she's already dropping hints.

Reinhardt's agent, Greg Weiss, confirmed, "Doug is producing the show, which will star his sister and her friends. But he and Paris will also make appearances."

As for Casey, the show's supposed star? She's a former beauty queen who's a student at Pepperdine University and is working on her own cosmetics line. Cute.

Paris Hilton Quotes

We want to stay together forever. I wouldn't do a Vegas [wedding]. I don't know where or when but I do want it to be romantic.

Paris Hilton [on Benji Madden]

He's my best friend. He's just different from any guy that I've ever been with. I just trust him completely, and I know that he'd be there for me, no matter what.
