Mel Gibson's estranged, money-hungry baby mama, Oksana Grigorieva, won't be doing the Oprah Winfrey Show after all. Reasons for her change of heart are conflicting.

A recent CNN report claims it's because a judge gagged her, but according to TMZ, which is all over this story like Mel on a Marlboro Light, OG's lawyers nixed it.

There's a report that Judge Scott Gordon ordered Oksana to pull the plug on Oprah, but this is untrue. Rather, it was Anne Kiley, her family lawyer, who objected.

  • Oprah Puts 'Em Up
  • A Grigorieva Pic

O-NO! Grigorieva won't be taking her PR show to Winfrey's.

Grigorieva, who accuses Mel Gibson of threatening, beating and otherwise mistreating her, has stepped up her public attacks of late. This was to be the latest effort.

Daniel Horowitz, who's handling her PR offensive against Mel, arranged the interview and obviously wanted her to do it. Oksana did too, but later deferred to Kiley.

Which is probably for the best, for everyone except viewers. We were looking forward to seeing Oksana on Oprah, bashing Mel and shilling for her bad music career.

Oksana Grigorieva wasn't kidding about a PR offensive.

Oprah Winfrey has landed a coveted TV interview with Mel Gibson's estranged source of baby mama drama and domestic abuse allegations, edging out 60 Minutes.

Winfrey's production company, Harpo, apparently struck a deal with Team Oksana on Tuesday. There's no telling what the nut job will say on the popular program.

"Oksana has a very powerful story to share, from emigrating to the United States from Russia, her marriage with Timothy Dalton, her music career and a volatile relationship with Mel Gibson," an insider says, regarding the upcoming Oprah interview.

Let's be honest with ourselves here. Yes, Mel Gibson is a jackass and bona fide lunatic who should be locked up if he really did any of the things Oksana alleges.

But this woman is no saint herself. Quite the contrary, in fact.

In addition to the domestic violence investigation of Gibson, police are also probing Oksana to determine if she's guilty of extortion. Criminal or not, she is shady.

Within a few minutes of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner taking the stage on The Oprah Winfrey Show today, the host compared the group to The Beatles.

While anyone born before 1960 is likely rolling over in his/her grave right now, listen (below) to the response these stars received on the talk show. Defeaning does not begin to describe it.

Once the screams died down, Oprah started to grill the Eclipse cast. She had to ask Robert and Kristen about their relationship, of course, which prompted the following exchange (and subsequent, ridiculous tabloid cover):

Pattinson: Kristen's pregnant.
Stewart: He really loves to shock people because he thinks it's funny. No, we've actually had this conversation. He's having the baby.

Oh, those two.

As for what Lautner is looking for in a woman, he told the adoring audience: "Loyalty. "Honesty. Really important to me is somebody who can totally let loose and pretty much be themselves and have fun."

Stewart was asked about the character of Bella Swan and said: "I can also completely relate to the fact that she's totally awkward, but that she owns it and she's not going to say anything she doesn't mean."

Other topics touched on during an interesting hour of television:

  • How Taylor bulked up for his role as Jacob by eating beef patties all day.
  • How Rob wanted to be a rapper when he was 14.
  • How Kristen REALLY likes her cat.
  • What it's like to be part of this franchise, as relayed by Pattinson: "It's not really about you. So, it never really goes to your head and you can kind of participate in it. It's about the fans themselves. A lot of people, they just like doing Twilight-related things."

Check out more from the cast below.

It's spreading, people. Can you feel it? Can you smell it? Can you taste it? (You wish, ladies!)

The latest victim of Bieber Fever is the queen of daytime television herself, Oprah Winfrey. She had Justin Bieber on her show yesterday and seemed legitimately smitten with the 16-year old superstar.

Not to the point where Stedman (or Miley Cyrus?) should get jealous, but Oprah was clearly taken with the Biebs. Check out their interview now, as we learn what time Justin must put away his computer and what punishment befalls him if he ever acts out:

From there, a VERY lucky girl got the chance of a lifetime: she also interviewed Bieber.

Asking questions such as whether or not Justin gets nervous on stage, the young woman herself looked surprisingly calm in the face of such cutness. Watch below.

Rielle Hunter, mistress to that disgrace John Edwards and mother to his two-year-old love child, gives her first TV interview today on the Oprah Winfrey Show.

The weird videographer recounts how the former presidential candidate's cancer-stricken wife, Elizabeth, slowly learned the full extent of his affair with Rielle.

Slowly being the operative word.

Rielle Hunter recalls how it was Elizabeth who encouraged John to come clean about his infidelity in 2008 ... even though she didn't know "the whole truth."

In the first interview John gave confirming his affair with Rielle, he denied fathering her child. Edwards finally admitted it earlier this year. What a sleaze.

Rielle Hunter on Oprah Winfrey

Perhaps the most disturbing thing about Rielle Hunter? Besides the fact that she's still around at all? She somehow denies breaking up the politician's marriage.

"She doesn't think she's a home wrecker," Winfrey told the AP regarding Hunter. "She does not think she played a key role in breaking up the Edwards marriage."

Hunter told GQ in March (after taking off her pants, then dubiously claiming she was repulsed by the photos): "Infidelity doesn't happen in healthy marriages."

"The break in marriage happens before infidelity. That break happened, you know, two-and-a-half decades before I got there. The home was wrecked already."

Whatever helps you sleep at night, loser.

John and Elizabeth recently separated after 33 years of marriage. They had four children together. Follow the jump for the first clip of Rielle on Oprah ...

Oprah knows a good investment when she sees one.

Early in the 2008 presidential campaign, she threw her support behind a little-known U.S. Senator named Barack Obama. We all know how that turned out.

The Big O is also high on the First Lady of the United States - specifically her fashion sense. Taking style cues from Michelle turned out to be a wise move.

Yesterday, while hosting J.Crew’s Creative Director Jenna Lyons on a special “Dream Jobs” episode of her show, the media made an interesting admission.

After seeing Michelle Obama pictures showing her in relatively affordable J. Crew cardigans, sweaters and skirts, O went and became a J. Crew investor.

Oprah knows a style star when she sees one.

“The very first time I saw the First Lady, before she became the First Lady, wearing J. Crew - full disclosure – I went and bought J.Crew stock,” she said.

The host also said putting her money on Michelle’s mix-it-up, high-low look was indeed a smart bet, saying, “That [investment] was a very good decision."

Good thing, too. In these troubled economic times, Oprah needs all the financial breaks she can get. Hey, better than her taking advice from Octomom.

Oprah Winfrey has made headlines recently, thanks to a book by Kitty Kelley accusing her of lying about her upbringing, sexuality and other matters.

One way to take negative heat off yourself? Interview Octomom!

Though she has no regrets, Nadya "Octomom" Suleman the Big O via satellite that she lives with a "tremendous amount of guilt" for what she did.

That being give birth to eight babies as an unemployed single mother of six. She said she did it out of her "own childish desires to compensate."

Raised an only child, she said she was "trying to fill some missing piece inside." Oddly enough, they were conceived IVF - no actual piece inside.

Right in the Nads

Nadya Suleman: Just so wrong.

Instead of filling the void with a significant other, she filled it with Elijah, 8; Amerah, 7; Joshua, 6, Aiden, 5, twins Caleb and Calyssa, 3; and the 14-month octuplets, Noah, Maliyah, Isaiah, Nariyah, Makai, Josiah, Jeremiah and Jonah.

"I've always coveted that connection, that attachment to another being."

"The connection felt safer with children than with a significant other, more predictable," said Nadya Suleman. "The security. I was hungering for security."

Not financial security, obviously, but that's another ball of wax.

"We're surviving," she said (thanks to a bailout by PETA). "We're going, going, going, just trying to keep up. You don't have time to think, to reflect, feel anything. It is a choice. I own all of the responsibility for my poor choices."

Perhaps the first intelligent thing she's ever said.

While the Internet is buzzing over Gerald Imes' admission on Oprah today that he molested Monique when she was a child, the talk show host herself is also making news.

For the first time, Winfrey has made public comments concerning Kitty Kelley's biography of the mega star. Among other claims, it says Oprah was not raised poor (as she's often said) and that Vernon Winfrey is not her biological father.

Presenting an award to BFF Gayle King at The New York Women in Communications Matrix Awards today, Oprah joked about the latter rumor:

"Gayle got herself worked out with all my new daddies coming out."

As the crowd laughed and cheered, Oprah simply added: "This, too, shall pass."

There have also been unfounded reports that link Oprah and Gayle sexually, but the talk show host didn't address those.

Instead, Winfrey just thanked her longtime pal for teaching her "what true love really is," describing King as "her best friend who always wants the best for me" and adding:

"She's never been jealous or envious of me a single moment of my life except when I was on stage singing with Tina Turner."

It's hard to know what to make of Kitty Kelley and her new, unauthorized biography of Oprah Winfrey.

On one hand, the author relies on anonymous sources and tired gossip material to write about the talk show host's sexuality and friendship with Gayle King.

Oprah Sunglasses

However, she also broke the (confirmed-as-true) news that Oprah once lived with John Tesh.

Kelley has penned books on famous subjects such as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Frank Sinatra and Nancy Reagan - and never been successfully sued for libel or forced to retract a written statement. The author may make her living in a morally grey area, but she's never been outed as a liar.

Therefore, Oprah fans might be disturbed by the content of Kelley's latest book. Especially the chapter that quotes Winfrey's cousin, Katharine Carr. Simply put, Carr paints Oprah as someone who is an enemy of the truth...

"Where Oprah got that nonsense about growing up in filth and roaches, I have no idea. [Oprah's grandmother] kept a spotless house... It was a wooden, six-room house with a large living room that had a fireplace and rocking chair," Carr says, adding:

"I've confronted her and asked 'Why do you tell such lies?' Oprah told me, 'That's what people want to hear. The truth is boring.'"

Carr also says she loves her cousin and forgives her because Oprah has done so much for other people. But she closes with a major zinger:

"Oprah does not love her mother at all... She gives her a great deal financially, but she does not give her the respect and affection a daughter should, and that bothers me."

Are these words of a bitter relative? Or the exposure of television's most beloved icon as someone that's built a reputation on lies and half-truths? You decide.

Earlier this year, Winfrey sat down with Adam Lambert and Susan Boyle. She's working on an interview with John Edward's baby mama, Rielle Hunter.

But it's hard to believe anything will top a Twilight-themed episode. When it comes to ratings, hot fake vampires trump dirty, attention-starved mistresses every day of the week.
