Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi Jersey Shore

Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi recently welcomed her first child, son Lorenzo Dominic LaValle. Now you can meet him on the cover of People!

After more than 24 hours of labor, Snooki gave birth to Lorenzo August 26. Fortunately, she and fiance Jionni LaValle say that choosing a name was easier.

"We were going back and forth, and I just happened to think of Lorenzo," says Jionni, inspired by a child he knew from his hometown. "She loved it."

The little guy's middle name, Dominic, is in memory of Polizzi's uncle (her father's brother), who passed away. "I did it for my dad," 24-year-old Snooki says.

Through it all, the future Mr. and Mrs. Jionni LaValle seem elated and content.

The couple can't say enough about their new baby, and their new life. With Jersey Shore canceled after this coming season, she'll have plenty of time for it.

"It's a different kind of love that I never felt before," she says. "When I got pregnant, everything changed. The partying is long gone. I'm a new person."

Lorenzo Dominic LaValle's here and the Jersey Shore gang is dishing out the love to new mom Snooki, fiance Jionni LaValle and their bundle of love.

News of Snooki giving birth to the Garden State's youngest guido at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J., Sunday was welcomed joyously.

Jersey Shore returns to MTV October 4 for its sixth season. With pregnant Snooki in the house, it'll certainly be different than years past.

Will Snooki be a good mom?

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is officially a mom.

The Jersey Shore star and her fiance, Jionni LaValle, welcomed their baby boy - 6-pound, 5-ounce Lorenzo Dominic LaValle - into the world this morning.

"The world just got another Guido!!!" a Polizzi rep told MTV, which confirmed the baby's arrival moments ago. "Nicole, Jionni & Enzo are doing great!"

Enzo was born at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J. around 3 a.m. Sunday, according to MTV, which congratulated Snooki and Jionni LaValle.

"We couldn't be happier for Nicole and Jionni on the healthy delivery of their baby boy!" the network said in a statement. "We are looking forward to Lorenzo's first trip to the Jersey Shore and can't wait to see his first animal print onesie."

Jersey Shore will return for a sixth season this fall, and her spinoff Snooki & JWoww has also been picked up for a new season, though it's unclear the extent to which Enzo will appear on either, or whether he has an agent yet.

So there you go. Snooki is a mom. In charge of keeping a small human alive.

The Mayans predicted the world will end 12/21/12 ... turns out they missed by 118 days, not too bad considering the scope of human civilization.

In all seriousness, congratulations to Snooki and Jionni. Welcome Enzo!

After being denied by several New Jersey towns, Snooki & JWoww have found a new place to live, and the residents of their new town aren't pleased.

495 Productions, the producers of Jersey Shore as well as Snooki & JWoww, had trouble finding a location to film Season 2 of the duo's reality show.

The small town of Manchester stepped up to the plate, though ... much to the chagrin of the Manchester natives who have to live next to them.

Some of their close neighbors say they had no idea Snooki and JWoww were rolling into the small Garden State town 80 miles south of N.Y. City.

When they called the town to complain, they were told the mayor already signed off, so too bad ... for him, the next time he runs for reelection.

Concerned residents were told 495 would go door-to-door to "address the situation," but several neighbors tell us that hasn't actually happened.

What would they say anyway? Meanwhile, with pregnant Snooki ready to pop any second, crew members have been seen setting up equipment.

Say a prayer for Manchester.

Snooki and JWoww will not be welcome in Toms River or Point Pleasant, New Jersey, during the second season of their Jersey Shore spinoff show.

The Point Pleasant Beach Council unanimously voted against a request to tape the Snooki & JWoww there; Toms River negged a similar request.

Guess they gotta need to keep the quota of overly tanned girls with giant fake boobs saying inane things to a minimum ... or at least limit the traffic.

Season 1 was filmed in Jersey City, N.J., after Hoboken negged them. Jersey Shore itself is filmed in Seaside Heights, further down the Atlantic coast.

Although it doesn't have a location yet, Season 2 of Snooki & JWoww will be an entertaining ride to say the least, given all that should transpire.

"It would probably be up to my labor and [my baby] being born," Snooki told E! News, though she adds that things won't be too intimate.

Thank goodness.

"[Fiancé Jionni Lavelle] wants [the birth] to be private and I totally respect him for that," she said. "But I'm going to record it for myself."

"I want to remember that moment. And I want to show Lorenzo when he's like 16 in front of all his friends and really embarrass him."

At this rate, let's just hope the hot mess can find a hospital that will allow her in the door. Tip: Check in as Nicole Polizzi, not Snooki.

Snooki & JWoww, a half-hour Jersey Shore spinoff, premiered on MTV last night.

It was ... exactly what you think it was. Snooki and JWoww just livin' life!

Of course, we already knew the main storyline coming in, given that the gals are bona fide celebrity gossip staples at this point - Snook's preggers.

Still, not everything about the show, in which the Shore stars move into a Jersey City, N.J., apartment, was telegraphed. Some of it was even funny.

Let's break it down, THG +/- style!

JWoww, on prepping to put her partying ways behind her and settle down: "I'm 'bout to hit 30 in a coupla years, and that's it." Girl, you're 26. Minus 9.

The scene in which Snooki tells Jenni she's pregnant and engaged was evidently not staged, as JWoww is SURE Nicole is kidding and it's a joke. Plus 50.

"Instead of life throwing me a curveball, it threw me a spermball ... obviously." - Snooki. Clearly written for her by MTV, but still, nice one! Plus 8.

"Jionni proposed and I'm engaged," Nicole Polizzi insists. "I swear!" "No, you're not," Jenni Farley says. "You would've told me!!" She just did! Minus 1.

"Like, who lives in a firehouse?" says Snooki, re: their new digs. Firemen, or reality stars basically. Either way, looks like a pretty cool place, so Plus 5.

JWoww isn't sad about Snooki about being pregnant, just about being late for their apartment hunting and leaving her sitting on a stoop alone. Minus 5.

Snooki has a hot new set of wheels.

The Jersey Shore star, now 6-7 months pregnant, is now riding around Seaside on a motorized scooter ... for reasons unknown to humankind.

The 24-year-old was seen Tuesday in the electric three-wheeler cruisin' down the boardwalk. It's unclear if she's hurt or just sort of felt like it.

Despite the recent Snooki nude pic leak, which she (presumably) had nothing to do with, the reality star has toned down her party girl ways.

Since learning she was expecting her first child with fiance Jionni LaValle, she's nothing like the wild child who used to date that d-bag Emilio Masella.

Thank goodness for her baby boy's sake.

At one point, Pauly D was seen putting his muscles to work to lift Snooki's scooter into her new house, located next door to the gang's cesspool.

Not only did she move into her own private, quiet digs, but Snooki even exhibited more mature behavior over the weekend while out at Karma.

"She was sitting the whole time. It was very subdued of her," a source said.

Snooki isn't taking any chances with her unborn child.

The Jersey Shore star is, as reported, moving out of the Seaside Heights cesspool we know and love and into a love shack of her very own.

RIGHT NEXT DOOR to her old stomping grounds.

The mom-to-be is taking her pregnancy very seriously, choosing to live next to the gang rather than with them because of her loud roommates.

The baby will be the first for Snook and fiance Jionni LaValle.

Loud is one word for them. Fortunately, Snooki isn't moving far - her new pad is a cozy single-family home directly adjacent to the house.

It rents for around $2,000 a month. Can you imagine going on vacation to the beach and finding out you'll living there during filming??!

Snooki's baby boy is due in early fall, so she could give birth this season if he arrives any earlier. In other news, The Situation is sober too.

Times they are a-chagin' in Seaside.

Is the Jersey Shore cast, which just started filming Season 6, staying off the sauce to stand in solidarity with pregnant Snooki and newly-detoxed Situation?

The gang hit up a bar last night in their first outing of the summer, and while Sitch was there, he reportedly didn't have anything to drink. Willpower, dog!

The Situation has said he was not in rehab for alcohol, but his trip to Cirque Lodge was indeed for both prescription drugs (which he admits) and alcohol.

The crazy part is that not only did The Situation (and a pregnant Snooki) abstain from alcohol, the entire cast did as well, in an apparent show of support.

Very cool of them if so, but obviously it's a huge contrast from prior seasons.

After all, this crew is famous for a show revolving around getting drunk and hooking up, and makes you wonder if the show has lived past its shelf life.

Incidentally, they went to the bar where Snooki got punched in Season 1.

The cast of Jersey Shore - pregnant Snooki included - was spotted Thursday by celebrity gossip photographers moving back into the Seaside Cesspool.

Does this mean she's having a change of heart about getting her own place?

The baby-bumpin' poof-head says she has no plans to stay in the house, but reports and pics from the scene say otherwise. So what's the deal?

"You know how they have to make it look for editing," a source said.

"What they will probably do is have her there for a day or two. But then she'll move into the new place. Trust me, she will not be living in that house."

A source told us not even two weeks ago that Snooki will likely live in a nearby house in Seaside Heights, N.J. Close enough to hang out, but away from the epicenter.

She has repeatedly said that the house is no place for a pregnant woman. Or anyone who values their health or brain cells even a little bit. Smart.

Snooki, who's pregnant with a boy, is due in September.
