Jessica Simpson is reportedly livid with Nick Lachey for bringing up her dad in less-than-flattering fashion in an interview on Bravo last week.

Nick shocked viewers of Watch What Happens Live on Bravo last Tuesday when asked about Jessica and the positives of their marriage imploding.

“The best thing about not having Joe Simpson as a father-in-law anymore is I don’t have to play grab-ass under the table on Easter Sunday,” joked Nick.

“It may not be [funny] tomorrow, but it is tonight,” he added.

In light of the rampant Joe Simpson gay rumors, which may have played a role in his divorce from Tina Simpson, Jessica doesn't see it that way.

The 98 Degrees frontman was put on the spot during a game called Plead the Fifth, where guests can take a flier on one question out of a set of three.

In an interview with the May issue of Details, Nick Lachey is asked about the reality star's assertion that a date with him in 2006 is what put her on the path to fame.

“Let’s just say this," Lachey recalls of that evening out. "We went to a movie. No one followed us there. Somehow - mysteriously - when we left, there were 30 photographers waiting outside.”

Avid Bengals supporter Nick Lachey admits he got into a heated exchange with a Chargers fan Sunday in San Diego, but denies trying to choke the guy.

A report surfaced earlier this week alleging that the 39-year-old singer not only unleashed a profane tirade at the fan's wife but got physical with him.

Not the case, says Nick, whose rep put out the following statement to quell the rumors:

"This was a verbal exchange between sports fans of opposing teams that went too far."

Both Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey celebrate a birthday today, with the former 98 Degrees singer turning 39 and his wife a younger 32.

But if you were thinking of getting the couple an adorable baby boy for the occasion, it's too late! Vanessa gave birth to Camden John Lachey in September.

The couple has been married for 14 months and this is the first child for both.

She gave birth to baby son Camden John Lachey yesterday!

“We are incredibly proud to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy, Camden John Lachey,” the over-the-moon couple told People.

“Born today at 6:54 p.m., he came into this world at 8 lbs., 9 oz. and 21 inches. Love has truly been redefined for both of us.”

The couple, who married in July 2011, announced they were expecting in March. In July, she revealed that they were expecting a boy.

“I can’t even explain how excited I am,” the singer said in August.

“For someone who has wanted a family for such a long time, I’ve looked forward to this moment. Now that it’s almost here, it’s awesome.”

Yes, those were screams you heard emanating from Rockefeller Plaza this morning. But, no, you weren't hearing things regarding the reason why:

They were in response to the reunion of 98 Degrees.

For the first time in a decade, Nick Lachey, Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre gathered on stage and belted out a pair of hits for fans: "Because of You" and "I Do."

Referring to themselves as a "man band," as opposed to a "boy band," Drew Lachey explained the difference between performing now and performing in the group's prime:

"There's back pain, throat pain, knee pain, ankle pain, hip pain. Our menu went from like steak and lobster to Metamucil and prune juice."

But the men will suck it up this weekend at the MixTape Festival in Hershey, PA, where they will be featured along with Aaron Carter, The Fray, New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys, Kelly Clarkson and Carly Rae Jepsen.
