Yes, Nick Jonas has embarked on a solo career.

But, no, the adorable mop head is not finished recording with his brothers.

Those are the main points covered by the singer in the latest issue of Teen Vogue. Below, while posing a few adorable shots of Nick, we summarize the rest of his interview...

On fronting his own band: Songs were pouring out of me. I've been wanting to do this for three years.

On love: I want someone to love me for my passion for music. It's all I've ever thought about.

On the future of The Jonas Brothers: I promise you, the trio is intact.

On Broadway: Broadway had a big part in my realizing that I wanted to make music a career. I'd love to go back.

Sounds like an intelligent, grounded, well-spoken guy. Aren't you sad you let him get away, Miley Cyrus?

As the latest cover boy for VMAN magazine, there is no doubt: Nick Jonas is THE man!

The young singer poses in a variety of ways, most of them in a retro style, all of them H-A-W-T!

Nick, who is touring with his new group, will eventually reunite with his brothers on stage.

For now, when asked about modeling, he says: “I just prefer to make people happy with my music.” Will he settle for both? Ogle this Jonas sibling below:

Nick Jonas has a new band.

Does he also have an old girlfriend?

In the video below, Selena Gomez is spotted getting off a tour bus with Nick in Chicago. Sources also say she was in attendance at his concert in Detroit over the weekend.

Rumors of a Jonas/Gomez relationship began to surface in the summer of 2008. Nick never really shot them down, though there was never an official break-up. Think this video means there's been an official reconciliation?

During he and his band's tour, Nick has covered songs by Michael Jackson and Taylor Swift?

Why nothing by Gomez? Perhaps he was trying to throw fans off the scent of this rekindled romance. Sound off with your thoughts on this possible pairing right now.

When Nick Jonas covered a Michael Jackson classic a couple days ago, it was a welcome tribute to a late, iconic figure.

But when the young singer gave a shout-out to Taylor Swift and then performed a version of her smash "You Belong With Me" at a Philadelphia concert on Saturday, it was an unusual gesture aimed at his brother's ex-girlfriend.

Indeed, Joe Jonas famously (and immaturely) dumped Taylor in a 27-second phone call over a year ago and also slammed her in a Jonas Brothers' single.

Is Nick trying to bury the siblings' hatchet with Swift? It would serve them well to get on the good side of this successful star, that's for certain.

Watch Jonas cover Taylor below and let us know your thoughts on this rendition:

We all know how much Nick Jonas' ex-girlfriend likes to make like a stripper.

Conversely, the talented, curly-haired male singer prefers to make like a musical icon.

During a concert Sunday night concert at the House of Blues in Dallas, Nick broke into a version of Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel."

Amidst rumors of a Jonas Brothers break-up, and as Nick goes off on tour with his new band, listen to the rendition below and let us know: Does Nick have what it takes to become a successful solo artist?

Rumors are swirling (again) about a Jonas Brothers break-up.

While this may be a scary thought for fans of the siblings, they can at least take comfort in one fact: Nick Jonas won't be leaving the musical stage any time soon.

The 17-year old has formed a new group, Nick Jonas and the Administration. They're playing at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville tonight and, prior to the show, Nick spoke to The Tennessean about forming this band. A few excerpts follow:

On going solo: The writing for this record really started in October of last year. I was writing songs that, stylistically, weren’t necessarily like the Jonas Brothers sound, and I didn’t know what to do with them. I met with my brothers and talked to them about this idea that I had to do a side project.

On his siblings' reaction: They said, ‘We’re excited for you. We know that you have a lot that you’re passionate about, and we’re here to support you.’ So that worked out nicely.

On fan reaction: The response has been amazing from the fans. Seeing that they’ve been so supportive and so passionate really shows me that the Jonas Brothers are so strong. It’s true that we have the best fans in the world, so I’m thankful for them and all that they do every day to support us.

On the future of The Jonas Brothers: We’re trying to continue to grow and learn as much as we can along the way. I think that we’re going to take a little while on the next record, really take our time, considering that we’ve released four albums in three and a half years.

Please say this isn't so.

Our post-Christmas doldrums were already made worse by the news that Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner were no longer a couple. We can't handle another major break-up.

But that's exactly what an anonymous source is reporting about the most popular boy band on the planet, as rumors of a Jonas Brothers split are heating up.

"Joe sees the writing on the wall for the group," a family insider told Pop Eater. "Kevin's heart is just not in the group anymore. His wife Danielle is his number one priority, especially after their wedding night!"

Whoa. TMI, random source!

Might The Jonas Brothers be waving goodbye to their fans... forever?!?

While Kevin is reportedly too busy banging his brains out to make new music, Nick Jonas has the entirely opposite problem. Says the source:

"Nick sees himself as the next Justin Timberlake and brother Joe knows it."

There actually is some validity to that statement, as Nick's new band is going on tour in early 2010. But the next JT? Let's not get ahead of ourselves!

What do you think, readers? Could Kevin really follow in the sexy(back) foosteps of Justin Timberlake? Is Kevin really trading music for sex? Could Franke "Bonus Jonas" Jonas join the group? Sound off right now!

A few days before December 25, the cutest band on the planet has released its Christmas card.

Indeed, The Jonas Brothers would like to wish you and your family the happiest of holidays.

Nick Jonas Announcement

They are doing so with a card that includes Santa Claus (in a Hawaiian shirt) and nine-year Frankie (aka "Bonus Jonas"). Notably absent?

Kevin's new wife, Danielle Deleasa. She was probably too busy finding a trash can for Kevin's purity ring - if you know what we mean! - to pose for the photo anyway...

There's good news and bad news for Nick Jonas fans. First, the good:

The 17-year old star is going on tour in January! Now, the bad:

Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez

His adorable brothers aren't coming with him.

Nick will be hitting the road for a month with his new group, the Administration.

Jonas began working on an album with this quartet in Nashville earlier this year. He isn't leaving The Jonas Brothers, but he is taking a break from touring and playing with them as he hypes the group's CD, titled "Who I Am." It will be released on February 2.

A touring schedule has not been released yet, but the band will make its performance debut on the Grammy Nominations Concert Live! special, December 2 on CBS. The tour kicks off a month later in Dallas and wraps up January 30 in Berkeley, CA.

Said Nick in a statment:

"With this tour we're going to try to accomplish the same thing we did in the studio. That's capturing some heart and soul in the music, and having fun doing it."

Will you try to see Nick Jonas and the Adminstration perform live?

Fear not, fans. The Jonas Brothers are not breaking up.

But when Kevin was off spending time with fiancee Danielle Deleasa and Joe was on vacation in Australia a couple months ago, Nick recorded an album with four other musicians.

The group calls itself Nick Jonas & the Administration. The 17-year old heartthrob describes their sound as "heart and soul because the music that I make is from my heart, and the lyrics I write are from my soul."

Fair enough. This is a look at the cover art for the band's first single, "Who I Am."

The name of the group is a nod to Barack Obama and the White House team. Nick has actually expressed an interest in running for President himself some day.

For now, millions of girls are thrilled that he's a singer instead. Check out a sample of "Who I Am" below, before the meanies at YouTube take it down. (Note: They've done so. Our apologies.)
