One is a key member of the Glee cast, while the other is a singer with a couple major hits on her resume.

But the two beauties share more in common than merely a solid singing voice, as both were spotted at public events over the last couple weeks in the same dress. Loyal THG readers know what that means: It's time to compare and contrast Lea and Nelly, coming to a conclusion about them in the following poll...

Apparently Demacio Castellon and Nelly Furtado are married.

We're a bit hurt the singer didn't call us immediately when it happened, but we're happy for this couple nonetheless.

Tamera Mowry, Adam Housley

"We got married July 19th," Furtado told Entertainment Tonight Canada. "I love it... I just feel kind of free and relaxed and more in tune with trying not to be so stressed out," she said. "[I'm] trying to enjoy things a little more."

Unlike Megan Fox, The Hollywood Gossip is not perfect.

We regret to inform fans of Nelly Furtado, and babies, that the singer is not pregnant after all. Last night, we had quoted a source that said she "is not very far along yet, so she's trying to keep the pregnancy under wraps."

However, Nelly's rep tells Us Magazine Furtado is "not pregnant." She is still engaged to sound engineer Demacio "Demo" Castellon, at least.

Nelly Furtado may be like a bird, but the star will find it difficult to fly away in her current state: the singer is pregnant.

Star magazine is reporting that Furtado is expecting her second child, this one courtesy of fiancé Demacio Castellon.

She has a four-year-old daughter, Nevis, with ex-boyfriend, DJ Jasper Gahunia.

"She's not very far along yet, so she's trying to keep the pregnancy under wraps," a source close to Nelly Furtado and Demo Castellon said.

Grammy winner Nelly Furtado is engaged to sound engineer Demo Castellon, who worked on her hit 2006 album Loose, People has confirmed.

Their close friend, music producer Timbaland, confirmed that they have gotten engaged when recently asked if the rumor was true. His reply?

"Yes."

The British Columbia-born Nelly Furtado, 28, told Blender in July 2006 she had a "secret boyfriend" of eight months, adding: "I just don't really talk about it. It's nobody famous or anything."

Ouch. Sorry, Demacio "Demo" Castellon. You're no one famous or anything!

Furtado has a three-year-old daughter, Nevis, with DJ and producer Jasper "Lil' Jaz" Gahunia. They split in 2005 after four years together, but are still close.

"We're fully active co-parents and really close friends," said the off-and-on Fergie rival of her amicable relationship with her ex.

Asked why the two had never married, Furtado said, "I'm kind of modern. I don't really live by society's standards. Maybe in the next five years I'll get married. One grandmother had eight kids, the other had 10. If I have that many kids, then I need a hubby."

Furtado, the Timbaland and Justin Timberlake collaborator who speaks three languages and is currently recording a Latin album, pulled off a clean sweep of Canada's Juno music awards.

Nominated in five categories, the "Promiscuous" one won every one, including album of the year. Steve Nash must be so proud.

Their engagement was first reported by that ass clown Perez Hilton.

There's nothing like a good celebrity feud.

Mary Carey and Mariah Carey. Don Imus and Al Sharpton. Jenna Jameson and Jay Grdina. Paris Hilton and Shanna Moakler. Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad.

Strutting Stuff

The list goes on and on and on and on and on. Right now, though, we're focusing on the latest random celeb spat - one involving chart-topping singers Nelly Furtado and Fergie.

On "Impacto," Fergie's latest collaboration with Daddy Yankee, the self-proclaimed Duchess fillets the "Promiscuous" singer, saying, "I ain't promiscuous, the realest chick up in this," and threatens with an old fashioned "I'ma pull your wig back!"

Oh, snap!

This isn't the shot at the Canuck crooner taken by Josh Duhamel's woman since Nelly Furtado returned to prominence with the release of her hot new album, Loose (heh heh) and possibly the banging of NBA M-V-P Steve Nash.

Working with producer Timbaland (currently in a high-profile feud of his own with Scott Storch) on "Promiscuous" helped catapult Nelly Furtado back into the public eye - but not without her share of detractors, apparently.

In "Fergalicious," she also says that she's not promiscuous. Obviously, she doesn't feel that Nelly Furtado is getting the message. Or she just came across the only word she could think of that rhymes with "Fergalicious."

Phoenix Suns superstar and two-time MVP Steve Nash adamantly denies the rumor that he and singer Nelly Furtado are an item.

Nelly Furtado awards arrival 2006

The reigning, two-time NBA MVP has been embroiled in a bit of controversy with the Canadian singer during the last week, after Toronto columnist inferred that the two might be involved. Furtado performed at a charity event hosted by fellow Canuck Nash in Canada last summer, and her current single, "Promiscuous," includes the following line:

Is that the truth or are you talkin' trash?

Is your game MVP like Steve Nash?
Steve Nash professional NBA player

We'll leave the question of who the heck sings about Steve Nash being MVP (in a song about promiscuity no less) for another time. After the Toronto column surfaced, it spread quickly through the U.S., making the basketball world wonder if Nash had reverted back to his younger days, when he dated stars such as Elizabeth Hurley and Gerri Halliwell.

But Nash, who is married with baby twin girls, vigorously denied the rumor and even made personal calls to several news outlets to set the record straight.

"I'm flattered that [Nelly] put me in her song, but I'm completely in love with my wife and two little baby girls. I met her once - with my wife - when she performed at the game. That's the only time we ever met."

There's probably nothing to the Furtado-Nash story whatsoever, but another conspiracy theory has yet to be broached. Could the star point guard have leaked this rumor himself, solely to deflect questions about his inability to get Phoenix to the NBA Finals, only to deny the rumor after things simmered down?

We may never know.
