Sorry, Glee fans, but Adam Lambert is not coming on board this Fox series.

But a couple of other major names are likely to guest star on the 2010 Golden Globe winner for Best Comedy.

Executive producer Brad Falchuk has confirmed that Jennifer Lopez is in negotiations to appear this season as a cafeteria worker. Echoed creator Ryan Murphy:

"Lopez wants to do the show, so I’m going to meet with her. In the past couple of months, a lot of people are coming out saying they love the show... But I don’t want to stunt-cast too much, because I think the [musical] numbers are already so extravagant.”

Still, there's no way Glee could turn down this opportunity:

Neil Patrick Harris is rumored to to star in a May sweeps episode directed by good friend Joss Whedon. The How I Met Your Mother star might be the most universally beloved figure on television these days.

His presence on Glee will only ratchet up the popularity of a show that's already been renewed for a second season and whose creativity and uniqueness is unrivaled on the small screen.

As for J. Lo? As long as she continues to keep it real as Jenny from the Bronx block, we'll be happy.

If you read celebrity gossip sites, or are on Playboy's email distribution list, you probably already knew that its December issue features Joanna Krupa nude.

On top of this hottie in her birthday suit, the men of How I Met Your Mother - Neil Patrick Harris, Jason Segel and Josh Radnor - all suit up for the magazine!

To celebrate the 100th episode of the hit series, the bros model the season’s hottest fashions from Hickey Freeman, Paul Smith to Hugo Boss and more.

In addition to looking dapper, the trio that provides so many classic How I Met Your Mother quotes each week shares some fashion dos and don’ts below:

Neil Patrick Harris, Josh Radnor and Jason Segel clean up nicely in real life! Well, the latter two do. NPH always looks like this on TV as well. [Photos: Playboy]

Neil Patrick Harris: “If you can afford it, I’d recommend having your own wardrobe department. You can't go wrong.”

Josh Radnor: “I have fond memories of parachute pants!”

Jason Segel: “After Forgetting Sarah Marshall, the publicist said to me, ‘Listen, you’re kind of successful now, so you have to step it up. You can’t keep dressing like this.’ Now my costume lady for that film and I Love You, Man puts outfits on hangers for me marked Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It’s embarrassing, but I kind of love it.”

His character, Marshall Eriksen, would be proud. Don't get us wrong, that guy is clueless about fashion - but his inner nerd would love daily designated outfits.

Fans familiar with How I Met Your Mother are used to seeing Neil Patrick Harris in various getups as Barney Stinson. Dude will do anything to score with girls.

But is he falling victim to a familiar pattern of guys in relationships and totally letting himself go now that he and Robin (Cobie Smulders) are a couple?

Neil Patrick Harris Fashion

If the pic below, of Neil Patrick Harris in a fat suit, is any indication ...

Barney Stinson has packed on some pounds.

“It’s a phenomenon that a lot of people can relate to, certainly more than a few people on our writing staff. It’s relationship gut,” says creator Carter Bays.

Bays says Harris, not surprisingly, was game to don a fat suit for the episode. “Neil was loving it. He was like, ‘Give me the biggest fat suit you’ve got.’”

This should lead to even funnier How I Met Your Mother quotes than when Barney bet people he could get laid while dressed as an 80-year-old. Really.

As Tina Fey said when accepting one of 30 Rock's Emmy Awards, without [Saturday Night Live executive producer] Lorne Michaels, she would be nothing, but Justin Timberlake would still be extremely famous and rich.

Timberlake had just won an Emmy for his guest spot on SNL this past year, a deserving honor for the handsome singer, actor and "Mother Lover."

Can he win a fashion clash against Neil Patrick Harris, who went with a white jacket and black bow tie, contrasted with JT's more traditional look?

The How I Met Your Mother star not only scored an Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy nod, he was terrific in hosting the awards Sunday.

Will he upend Justin in this fashion face-off? Vote below ...

Neil Patrick Harris and his longtime partner, David Burtka, are planning to have their first child together via a surrogate mother, according to reports.

These reports turned out to be false.

Jessica Simpson Birth

The 2009 Tony Awards host and hilarious How I Met Your Mother star has been with Burtka since 2004. So taking the next step would make sense.

The agency handling the surrogacy was said to be Growing Generations, the same one used by Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker.

That surrogacy made headlines earlier today when a pair of Ohio cops were busted for allegedly plotting a break-in at the surrogate's home.

As far as David and Neil's baby is concerned, Star quoted a source saying they had gone through the surrogacy process and been approved.

Apparently, this was untrue.

“Neil and David were so relieved and excited once they were approved,” says a source reportedly close to the couple. “Neil and David can’t wait to hold their baby; they don’t care if it’s a boy or a girl. They just want a healthy child.”

UPDATE: A spokesperson for the couple just released a statement debunking these rumors. The rep said: “If Star says it, then it must be true! No, we are not currently expecting a baby. Maybe someday ...”

One hosted the event, the other may have been hiding out there to avoid bad reviews for his latest film.

But while both Neil Patrick Harris and Will Ferrell make us laugh, only one can be crowned the winner of this Fashion Face-Off.

Good luck, Neil Patrick Harris. You're gonna need it!

The actor looks happy enough in this photo, but it must be chaos on the set of How I Met Your Mother these days.

After all, two of Harris' co-stars are pregnant.

We wish the best of luck to Alyson Hannigan (below, left) and Cobie Smulders, each of whom are seen below, going belly-to-belly at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences evening with the sitcom's cast in Hollywood yesterday.

Below is the first picture of Britney Spears reprising her role as Abby, a ditzy receptionist, on the hit CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother.

That's the rumor going around celebrity news circles, but if one of the CBS show's stars has his way, it's not gonna be happening anytime soon.

Neil Patrick Harris says he doesn't want Britney Spears back on How I Met Your Mother - nothing personal, he says, but he simply doesn't think they need to have recovering celebrity train wrecks show up for cheap ratings boosts.

"I'm in the minority that our show does not need stunt casting in order to succeed," Harris said in an interview with TV Guide.

Neil Patrick Harris: Not hoping for a second Britney Spears cameo.

There were rumors that Britney might make another appearance on the show after her first one, which was generally considered a success by her low standards.

Seriously, though, she's been receiving treatment for her mental problems and any sort of work that she showed up for and didn't melt down during is solid.

Producers have reportedly been receptive to the idea of Britney's return, as has the singer's dad, Jamie Spears, who is open to her working in TV more.

She's also got an offer from 30 Rock, so stay tuned!

Neil Patrick Harris decided to come out of the closet late last year because he sensed "this sort of witch-hunt brewing," the actor says.

"There was a little of media scrutiny heading my way," Harris told Ellen DeGeneres in an episode of her talk show airing Thursday.

NPH Smiles

"People were starting to ask for stories about other people that may have fooled around with me, and the last thing you want to do is talk about your private life based on a scandal.

"I'm not a very scandalous person and so I didn't want to have to respond to some story, whether it was lie or truth, so I just made a statement and sort squashed the fires."

Harris, 33, revealed to People magazine in November:

"I am happy to dispel any rumors or misconceptions and am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest."

"My life had been relatively open in my world," he told Ellen DeGeneres, who is in a long-term relationship with Portia de Rossi and was one of the first major celebrities to go public with her homosexuality.

"I've been dating the same guy for three years and our families know. We go out together all the time but I just feel like as an actor part of your occupation is retaining a bit of mystery so you can be believable in many different types of roles, so I never felt it was an obligation for me to hold pinkies down the red carpet or anything."

Harris, who shot to fame as a teen doctor on Doogie Howser, M.D., now plays philandering Barney on CBS's How I Met Your Mother. His going public as a gay man follows similar admissions within the past year by Lance Bass and Grey's Anatomy star T.R. Knight.

"[Barney] is this crazy womanizer on the show, so I just didn't find [my sexual orientation] important," he said. "But other people did and I sort sensed this witch-hunt brewing."

Ultimately, Harris believes (and we agree), a decision to go public should rest with the individual - not with ass clown celebrity gossip generators like Perez Hilton.

"If someone doesn't want to talk about stuff or if someone has reason that they don't want to, I don't think they need to be criticized and chastised necessarily for that," Harris says, "Unless they're blatantly lying about things. I'm not such a fan of pushing people to make decisions."

Having gone public himself, Neil Patrick Harris knows it was the right choice.

"For me that is the greatest ending to the story so far. Nothing really has changed at all," he said. "I'm doing nothing different and people aren't behaving differently towards me. ... People heard and they're like yeah, and? That attitude, I think, was great."
