Upon hearing that Octomom Nadya Suleman is going on welfare, it's safe to say that some members of the general public did not react sympathetically. 

We're talking about death threats against her here.

The mother of 14 has been receiving intense backlash from strangers since it was revealed that she would be receiving aid from the state of California.

Suleman, 36, is eligible for state aid because she earns less than $115,000 a year ... the estimated poverty line for a family of 15. Cue angry mobs ...

The single Suleman has received a large volume of telephone calls, emails and Facebook messages in the last 72 hours, their tone largely the same.

“Die b!tch. I’m not working for your f*%king kids, you’re the one that wanted them,” one blunt Facebook message directed at Octomom read.

She says she decided to seek help because she was “becoming totally destitute.” Not even an Octomom nude photo spread could pay the bills.

“I have to do what I have to do to take care of my family,” she said of her decision to bare all in order to make rent, “and I’m not ashamed.”

She will receive $2,000 a month from the state, to be used solely on food, and hopes to only rely on the assistance for a few months at most.

Sounds like wishful thinking, but here's hoping, Octo.

In sad, but not entirely surprising news, Octomom Nadya Suleman is doing what she swore she would never do and going on welfare, reports say.

The mother of 14 is getting $2,000 a month from the State of California, which sends it directly to a special debit account (see welfare card image).

The card can ONLY be used for food and is closely monitored to ensure its holder isn't making illegal purchases ... i.e. toys, pregnancy tests, etc.

Just two years ago, after giving birth to children 7-14, she said she refused to become "a self-fulfilling prophecy" by accepting state assistance.

She also said we'd never see Nadya Suleman nude. It's a week of firsts.

Octo got for the card because her income is less than $119,000 a year and a family of 15 that makes less than that is entitled to welfare benefits.

The $119,000 figure is based on around $8,000 for each member of the household. The more kids, the more you can make and still receive welfare.

Octomom's topless photo shoot in Closer Magazine, which hit the Internet yesterday, didn't exactly impress Steve Hirsch of Vivid Entertainment fame.

From a business perspective at least.

Yes, the Octomom nude pics were eye-opening from a certain standpoint, but Hirsch can't believe how much she just lowered her XXX market value.

Hirsch, if you recall, offered Octo (a.k.a. Nadya Suleman) $1 MILLION in 2009 to star in a movie with his company. She shot that offer down hard.

Ditto the $500,000 offer he made her in 2010 for ONE SCENE. The point of all this? Closer allegedly paid her a modest 10 grand for the nude pics.

Citing a "market correction," yet intrigued by Nadya's sudden willingness to get naked, Hirsch is making her another offer to join the Vivid ranks.

The deal: $100,000 to appear in THREE hardcore sex scenes. A million bucks was so '09. "Regrettably your market value has diminished," he says.

She might be desperate enough to strip down to pay rent, but nude stills are a far cry from getting probed on video. Don't hold your breath Steve.

We draw that conclusion because the mother of 14 has apparently just gone and done what swore she would never do. That being pose totally nude for cash.

The house she owns, which has been in and out of foreclosure for more than a year, will be sold at an auction Thursday, so she needs a new place. Now.

Thus, the new courtesy of Closer Magazine, whatever that is:

You know landlords. Any smart one requires first month's rent, last month's rent and a security deposit on a 12-month lease - not a small sum of money.

Hence, Nadya Suleman promptly got buck ass naked. Simple as that.

TMZ reports that she got $10,000 for the shoot - or 1/100th of what Lindsay Lohan got from Playboy. Still, it was more than enough to rent a place.

Nads is openly admitting that unlike when she got pregnant the kiddos - they were all conceived through IVF - she got naked for them this time around.

"I'm doing that (posing nude) because I need to feed my kids, she says. "I need to pay the bills. And I'm still very cognizant of the repercussions."

Nadya "Octomom" Suleman shared some thoughts on her octuplets, who just turned three, on UStream this weekend. She likened raising them to fecal matter.

To be fair, she did not say they're crap overall, and believes the blessings far outweigh the negatives. Still, you may want to reconsider your word choice, Nads.

In a 30-minute nonsensical rant, Octomom lashes out for 21 minutes against her haters, whom she calls "obsessors" that "hide behind their computer screen."

She then gets into the "joy" of child-rearing ...

Recalling the conception of her octuplets, Nadya Suleman acts like she had no control in the matter and says she prayed, "Please God, don't let there be eight!"

She says she's not showing them on UStream because "I want to protect them and ... I got in trouble a little bit showing the eight in the beginning." Mmm.

About 19 minutes in, she says, "Is this easy? God no, it's not easy at all! I'm not going to be trying to don any façade and say 'Oh yeah, life is a piece of cake.'"

"It's not. It's a piece of poop ... eight pieces of poop, all day long."

Nadya then adds that the "rewards outweigh anything negative" and that "Your opinion of me and my family, it's none of my business, so lets keep it that way."

Perhaps referring to her kids as poop isn't the best way to assure that, Octo, but it looks like she's keeping her weekly UStream show going. Thank goodness.

Pray for them. Even if you're not religious ... just pray.

We're legitimately shocked they all survived this long, looking relatively healthy to boot, with her as the mom, but hey, it's a very pleasant surprise. Eight times over.

Nadya Suleman took her octuplets out for some fun to celebrate, hitting up the Seascape Kids Fun venue in Los Angeles. Looks like a good time was had, except perhaps by the random paparazzi guy creeping in the background.

Suleman's octuplets are Noah, Maliyah, Isaiah, Nariah, Makai, Josiah, Jeremiah and Jonah.

Her other children are Elijah Makai, Amerah Yasmeen, Joshua Jacob, Aiden, Calyssa Airelle and Caleb Kai. Yes, that makes 14 kids and no jobs in all.

Again, pray for them.

Nadya "Octomom" Suleman dragged her octuplets (and their SIX OLDER SIBLINGS) to the beach for a day of fun in the sun yesterday outside of Los Angeles, Calif.

The 14 youngsters enjoyed the sea and sands and had a picnic with mom, totally for free, with no photographers paying for Nadya Suleman pictures like this.

Fourteen. IF Angelina Jolie is pregnant, she will have HALF that.

Seriously, why are you following her.

In any case, it's because the mother of 14 has been dropped by her management team. The reason being: Nads is a flake who is notoriously unreliable. Shocker.

Nadya Suleman "would find any reason" to cancel last minute, often claiming she couldn't find a babysitter, according to sources close to the famous mom.

This after her management team would book her some actual paying gigs - which can't be an easy feat considering they're repping a Z-list celebrity here.

The interesting thing is that Octomom was actually raking in some real cash with appearances and different celebrity events for the better part of last year.

Octo just locked down a six-figure deal to star in her own show on Ustream.

Nadya will stream this live from her home Sundays. So what's it about?

On the Usteam show, the mother of 14 will be talking about subjects like "Parenting, fitness, diet, nutrition, shopping on a budget and all those crazy rumors."

Can you even handle the anticipation? It's hard, we know.

The show will launch later this month. No word on who's going to watch the kids while mom's "working" or whether six figures even covers a year's worth of day care for 14 freaking kids. Seriously. Day care is expensive these days.
