Adam Savader, a 21-year old former intern for Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney during the 2012 Presidential campaign, was arrested at his home in Long Island Tuesday.

Authorities tell The New York Daily News that Savader is suspected of cyber-stalking a blackmailing various women over the Internet.

Savader has been charged with illegally obtaining naked photos of 15 females and threatening to make them public unless… well, the woman sent him even more naked pictures of themselves.

In his first extensive interview since losing the Presidential election to Barack Obama, Mitt Romney told Chris Matthews this morning that he only has himself to blame for not taking the White House.

“I lost my election because of my campaign," Romney said on Fox News Sunday. "Not because of what anyone else did."

Mitt Romney's final vote total in the 2012 presidential election has been tallied, and the Republican challenger received - wait for it - 47 percent of the vote.

Yes, it took this entire time to finalize it (you just didn't hear about it because it wasn't close), and Romney came in almost exactly at the 47 percent figure.

47.2 percent to be exact.

Many will find the number appropriate and ironic, as Romney made waves when a secret video of him talking with donors surfaced late in the campaign season.

Mitt Romney's Christmas card has been revealed, and two things stand out:

• The 2012 election loss hasn't hindered his ability to color-coordinate.
• That's a lot of grandchildren!

The Romney's opted for somewhat lighter hues than traditional red and green Christmas colors. If nothing else, you have to give them credit for execution:

It apparently is possible to fit 29 family members into one photo. Romney may not be moving to the White House in 2013, but at least he has plenty of company.

In a twist even he might have to smile at, Mitt Romney's approval rating is currently 47% ... the same segment of the population he famously said are on the take.

The gods of political irony have smiled once again via a new Politico poll showing that 47 percent of likely U.S. voters now view Romney and Paul Ryan favorably.

No idea why Politico is still polling anything regarding Romney, but that's where he stands with the electorate. It also matches his 47 percent in the 2012 election.

More significantly, the number echoes Romney's 47 percent comment, which over the weekend was named "quote of the year" by an annual Yale University survey.

A man was arrested Thursday after allegedly charging a motorcade carrying former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, the U.S. Secret Service said.

No, it wasn't Romney Face Tattoo Guy ... just a random crazy guy.

Romney was making his arrival to the White House for lunch with President Obama when an unidentified man charged his car (before being quickly dealt with).

Secret Service spokesman Max Milien said that the guy was standing near a security entrance to the White House and briefly got in the motorcade's way.

Mitt Romney can still enjoy a nice silver lining following his loss in the 2012 presidential election, brags adviser Stuart Stevens, who feels the Republican won where it counts.

Seriously, this isn't an Onion article ... these are real quotes.

Stevens penned an op-ed in the Washington Post today arguing that by winning wealthier and whiter voters, Romney secured a huge moral victory over Obama.

"On November 6, Mitt Romney carried the majority of every economic group except those with less than $50,000 a year in household income," Stevens wrote.

President Barack Obama has invited vanquished rival Mitt Romney to lunch at the White House on Thursday. The food should be first-rate. The conversation?

Exchanging substantive and constructive ideas isn't really the point, of course; both parties likely just want a post-2012 election public burying of animosities.

White House spokesman Jay Carney announced the meal Wednesday in a statement: “It will be the first opportunity they have had to visit since the election.”

There will be no press coverage, of course.
