Based on their respective ages and recent style selections, we asked readers last month to decide which of these young artists acts more inappropriate. At this point, though, it's safe to say the Gossip Girl star/Pretty Reckless frontwoman has earned that title.

We gave this young star reluctant props last week for maturely handling a situation with an aggressive member of the paparazzi, and for speaking out in favor of breast cancer research.

But now we must castigate the actress once more for dressing up like an idiot. Miley isn't showing too much skin in the photos below, but she is somehow combining the looks of an Indian and a cowgirl. Those boots and that piece of forehead jewelry? Someone call the fashion police. Someone deserves a major citation...

In her recent defense of her new image, Miley Cyrus said"I feel more comfortable" dressing in the type of attire she's donned on stage over the last few weeks.

To this, we say: Come on, Miles.

There's no earthly way any human being can be comfortable in the outfits you wore at the 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards on Sunday night. We've already gone off on the black ensemble, so allow us to say this about the other one featured below:

Which Miley Cyrus outfit is more ridiculous?

It's been a busy week for Miley Cyrus.

She has sung about Nick Jonas in Portugal, blabbed to Billboard magazine about her new album and bashed Fox's Glee, along with musicals in general.

In between, Miley has rocked a few different looks, both on stage and on the street.

First, it was the retro, bathing suit-type outfit; then, your basic, black leather; after that, Cyrus actually resembled a 17-year old again, greeting fans in France.

WHICH LOOK IS HER BEST?

For her controversial "Can't Be Tamed" music video, Miley Cyrus did not turn into a seductive, provocative, unusual peacock overnight. Far from it.

A lot of work went into the transformation, as celebrity makeup artist Denika Bedrossian dishes: “Our inspiration for the video was exotic endangered birds breaking out of their cages; lots of sexy, dark, exotic feathers.”

This included the use of a $25,000 corset on Miley's frame, along with a heavy focus on her eyes. Bedrossian says she applied lashes with real feather tips to Cyrus' peepers - because the singer's eyes are clearly what viewers of this racy video would focus on.

Bedrossian may be the expert, but she emphasizes that Miley was involved in the entire process: “We all collaborated together to create a gothic, edgy, yet feminine bird. She wanted to be a part of every detail.”

Jessica Stroup has something in common with Miley Cyrus.

No, she doesn't date older men. And there's no video of her doing a stripper impression in front of a teenage audience. It's also unclear if Justin Bieber finds her corny and manufactured by Disney.

But we can at least report that the 90210 cast member and the young movie star share similar fashion taste. Each has been spotted out in the same Topshop dress, which retails for approximately $60.

When the singer popped out of her car yesterday for an interview with Good Morning America, she was spotted with light red locks. You can study them on TV tonight when she mentors the 11 remaining finalists on American Idol.

At last night's Academy Awards, Miley Cyrus made bigger news than Sandra Bullock.

The latter won Best Actress, but the former admitted she was dating Liam Hemsworth. Asked whether she was the Australian actor's girlfriend, Miley said "yes." Asked if she was in love, Cyrus replied "maybe."

It was a big evening for the young singer/actress, as she then appeared on stage (admittedly nervous) and handed out the award for Best Original Song.

But can Miley herself take home the trophy for Best Looking Young Celebrity at the event? She's matched up against Kristen Stewart in this showdown, as the Twilight Saga star appeared alongside Taylor Lautner and introduced a montage of horror movie clips to the audience.

Who looked best at the Oscars?

She's a global icon that has starred in a hit movie and TV show, while releasing platinum albums and posing for a number of magazine photo shoots.

In other words: Miley Cyrus is quite well-off. You'd think she'd be able to afford a pair of non-ripped jeans.

But for whatever reason, the singer strolled through Los Angeles over the weekend in an outfit that a homeless person might wear. A homeless person that had been on the street for a very long time, that is.

Seriously. These pants have been ripped more often than Miley on this website...

We guess this look is somehow "in" these days, as weird fashion is often interpreted as forward-thinking and creative. We say: it's just weird.
