The Miley Cyrus street walking tour continued this weekend.

Desperate to prove she's no longer an innocent Disney teen (except when she wants to garner sympathy from her fans, that is), Cyrus performed in Rio and in London over the last couple days.

The derivative act remained the same, as Cyrus wore fewer layers than Kendra Wilkinson; writhed around with back-up dancers on stage; and copied the exact same script Britney Spears perfected years ago: How to Be Edgy and Sexy, While Playing the Innocent, 17-Year Old Card Whenever Anyone Dares to Call You Out for Such Pathetic Acts and Lack of Talent.

Yawn. We've been here and seen this multiple times in the past. At the very least, it would be nice if Miley offered fans something remotely creative...

Miley Cyrus is totally innocent and naive, people! Where would you ever get the idea she'd make out with a girl in order to prove her edginess?!? [Photos: Splash News]

At G-A-Y night club in Paris, meanwhile, Cyrus put on a hilarious performance: she sung inspirational ballad "The Climb," while dressed like someone in a movie produced by Vivid Entertainment. You must watch:

Below, we've posted more videos of Miley performing in London and dressed like every talentless young star that can't make it on talent alone.

It's official: Miley Cyrus is the most self-centered celebrity on the planet.

Following her controversial performance on Britain's Got Talent, in which she simulated a same-sex kiss, Miley has released a statement on her official website. It's almost too pompous and phony to believe, but this is what Cyrus wrote:

“I performed ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ this week on one of my favorite shows here in the UK Britian’s Got Talent... during my performance I supposedly “KISSED A GIRL” and this is the newest thing to cause controversy.

Trying Too Hard

“I promise you I did not kiss her and it is ridiculous that two entertainers cant even rock out with each other without the media making it some type of story. I really hope my fans are not disappointed in me because the truth is I did nothing wrong. I got up there and did my job which is to perform to the best of my ability. I just want to put an end to this right now and just say one thing to everyone out there making this performance such a big deal.

“GET OVER IT! NOTHING HAPPENED. THERE ARE WAYYYYYYY MORE IMPORTANT THINGS IN THE WORLD. Let’s start focusing a little less on making up ignorant rumors and focus a little more on world peace! We gotta a lot of work to do if we want this earth to be here much longer. Let’s make a change! It wouldn’t hurt the world to show a little more love."

Naturally, THG must respond:

  • For Miley to claim that she didn't know exactly what she was doing with her near-kiss sums up everything we despise about this star. She's a phony hypocrite, one who can't admit that she's going after a new, mature audience; or simply let her actions speak for themselves. One second she's wearing this, the next second she pretends to be a naive 17-year old.
  • If Miley actually wanted to "put an end to this right now," she'd shut up. Nothing ends a scandal faster than simply ignoring it. Instead, Cyrus is milking it for more sympathy and attention, which was her and her marketing team's plan all along.
  • Finally, we hate to break this to you, Miles, but: we can bash you in a blog - and still focus on many other issues. The universe does not come to a stand still simply because you act like a desperate hack on stage. We comment on it and we move on. You don't exactly tell everyone to focus on "this earth" when they are standing on line to buy your CD or attending your concerts, do you?
  • In fact, why are you on tour again? To raise money for the victims of the BP oil spill? No, wait, it's to promote yourself and your new album. You want us to spend money on your music and your concerts. Maybe we should "make a change" and "focus on WAYYYY more important things" with our hard-earned cash. Got that, fans? Boycott Miley. That's what she's asking for.

Miles, you sound more full of yourself than all the Kardashians combined when you insinuate that world peace cannot be achieved because people take exception to your new image. Let us put an end to this right now and say one thing: GET OVER YOURSELF!

We guess this is an example of your "art," too, right, Miley Cyrus?

A day after the singer said her raunchy antics were artistic, and lashed out at critics for just not getting it, she performed "Can't Be Tamed" on Britain's Got Talent and took the desperate, wholly unoriginal step of making out with a dancer in order to prove her edginess.

There's little that can even be said about Miley's transparent actions at this point.

It's fine for her to move beyond the Disney phase of her career, but there's something to be said for subtlety and creativity. Dressing in skimpy outfits, singing about how hot you are and kissing back-up dancers has been done by everyone from Christina Aguilera to Britney Spears.

It's especially galling when Cyrus claims her songs and her style aren't representative of typical, shallow pop music. That's simply laughable.

At least when Adam Lambert crossed a line at the 2009 AMAs, he came out and admitted it soon afterwards. Will Miley do the same? We somehow doubt it.

As she goes around the globe, donning skimpy clothing and trying way too hard to prove she's no longer an innocent Disney drone, Miley Cyrus has come under fire for... well, donning skimpy clothing and trying way too had to prove she's no longer an innocent Disney drone.

But, in an interview with the BBC this week, Miley sent a message to critics that feel this way: suck it!

"They can think what they want,” she said. “Those are people who are just close-minded and don’t understand art."

As for the criticism she's received over the last couple years in general, Cyrus said:

“Everyone goes through a bad point in their life and makes bad choices. But they just haven’t been published and it hasn’t been documented on the Internet. You can see how that would drive people crazy. I would like to see you at 21 and video that and put that out there for people to comment on.”

As well-known Miley haters (to the maker of this video: you rule!), THG must respond with a few points:

  1. Miley, you are 17. Not 21. That's a huge difference. Get back to us when you can vote, purchase tobacco, fight in a war, graduate from college and buy alcohol legally.
  2. If what you are doing is "art," then Britney Spears is Picasso. You're wearing tight leather outfits and singing about how hot you are and how every guy out there gives you "mad attention." Get over yourself. You're a cliched pop singer.
  3. It doesn't matter what the average teenager would do, if his/her bad decisions were "published" or not. You're not average. You're a multi-millionaire, a global icon. Your defense for past actions boils down to: "Oh yeah? Well, everyone else does that, too!" That's a lame cop-out for anyone to hide behind, let alone someone who is supposed to act in a responsible manner because she's a role model to girls around the world... whether she chooses (or deserves) to be or not.

First, Al and Tipper Gore.

Now, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth.

Are no relationships safe anymore?!?

According to The National Enquirer, the singer herself has confirmed that she and her 20-year old boyfriend are on a "break." This comes on the heels of reports that say Liam moved out of the mansion he and Cyrus were sharing last month.

The basis for this alleged fight and subsequent break up? Miley was jealous of Hemsworth's rise to fame, while Liam was sick of Miley's parents interfering in their relationship.

Paging Nick Jonas: Miley Cyrus is supposedly single!

An insider close to the situation told The Enquirer: "Miley, her family and all her baggage are too much for [Liam] to handle."

Is this a reputable newspaper? Not typically. But let's remember: it was considered for a Pulitzer Prize as the first source to break the John Edwards/Rielle Hunter scandal. It's been on a truthful roll lately.

If Cyrus and Hemsworth really have split, it shouldn't be too hard for Miley to find a new man. Just look at the way she dresses these days.

** UPDATE: Miley has responded to this rumor: "Just wanna clear up a rumor. Liam and I did not break. EVER! We are so happy and a lot of that has to do with the amazing relationship he has with my family."

Let's give Miley Cyrus credit.

With the release of her new single, "Can't Be Tamed," the singer made it clear that she's shed the innocent image of Hannah Montana. She's continued that sexy trend ever since, performing on Dancing with the Stars and dressing like this during a concert in Portugal.

As long as Miley keeps it real, we're okay with this new, mature, seductive side. Just don't pretend like you're still a naive Disney teen, Miles. You know exactly what you're doing.

And she did it again in Paris last night, exposing more skin than ever before at Club 1515. Don't ogle too much, fellas. She's still only 17 years old...

It's been a busy week for Miley Cyrus.

She has sung about Nick Jonas in Portugal, blabbed to Billboard magazine about her new album and bashed Fox's Glee, along with musicals in general.

In between, Miley has rocked a few different looks, both on stage and on the street.

First, it was the retro, bathing suit-type outfit; then, your basic, black leather; after that, Cyrus actually resembled a 17-year old again, greeting fans in France.

In a recent interview with Billboard, Miley Cyrus made it clear she loves her own music.

But the singer also opened up about something she hates, in a rambling, nonsensical way. Asked about the Fox smash Glee, Miley said:

“Honestly, musicals? I just can’t. What if this was real life and I was just walking down the street on Rodeo Drive and all of a sudden I just burst into song about how much I love shoes?"

She then paused, laughed and patted herself on the back, saying: "It would get you hits on YouTube.”

Ah, classic Miley: not giving credit to another musical sensation, and also pointing out just how popular she is with that YouTube comment.

Cyrus in Concert

Someone should probably tells Cyrus that maybe she "can't" handle musicals, but over 13 million people can. They tune in to Glee each week.

So, is there any musician out there Miley does respect? Lady Gaga, she says.

“Unlike a lot of artists, all her music does mean something personally."

Do you wanna tell Miley that Gaga recently said it was a dream come true to have her songs covered by Glee? Or should we relay that message instead?

Let's hope Liam Hemsworth did not attend his girlfriend's concert in Portugal on Saturday night. He would not have been pleased to hear the song "Full Circle."

Prior to performing this single for fans in Lisbon, Miley told the crowd:

“It’s about two people. They’re always gonna come back together no matter what anyone says or the bad people that try to keep you apart. Surprise surprise, it’s about a Jonas brother."

Ouch. Sorry, Liam. Nick and Miley have a romantic history together, one whose future got a bit brighter after the former broke up with Selena Gomez in April.

The chorus of "Full Circle" reads: "I try to run, but I keep on coming back full circle and I can’t jump the track, can’t let you go.”

That's a pretty clear message to Nick, isn't it? It's also incredibly profound, as Miley likes to tell everyone her music is, more than any other pop star in the business.

In a Billboard cover story, Miley Cyrus sounds both mature and cocky.

First, she admits that she's come a long way since she auditioned for Hannah Montana at the age of 12:

"I'm just at a certain place where I've changed a lot as a person. I've grown up a lot, which everyone does."

That's certainly true, but not everyone talks about her music as if it's full of heart, soul and profound meaning that simply can't be found in the pop world. Check out how Cyrus describes her upcoming album:

"I listen to zero pop music, which is really weird for someone who makes pop music. My 13-year-old self would have beaten up my 17-year-old self because she would be like, 'You're a sellout!' But that's not what it is.

"It's not dance music that's just about, 'Ooh, I'm in the club and everyone's looking at me.' It means something. I'm not just sitting here trying to sell glitz and glamour... because no one lives that life. A lot of [pop] songs are super shallow, but this music isn't."

Actually, Miles, your music is EXACTLY like that. The lyrics to "Can't Be Tamed" include these lines: Have to get my way/24 hours a day/‘Cause I’m hot like that/Every guy everywhere just gives me mad attention...

That's more super shallow than most kiddie pools.
