In a recent interview with Billboard, Miley Cyrus made it clear she loves her own music.

But the singer also opened up about something she hates, in a rambling, nonsensical way. Asked about the Fox smash Glee, Miley said:

“Honestly, musicals? I just can’t. What if this was real life and I was just walking down the street on Rodeo Drive and all of a sudden I just burst into song about how much I love shoes?"

She then paused, laughed and patted herself on the back, saying: "It would get you hits on YouTube.”

Ah, classic Miley: not giving credit to another musical sensation, and also pointing out just how popular she is with that YouTube comment.

Cyrus in Concert

Someone should probably tells Cyrus that maybe she "can't" handle musicals, but over 13 million people can. They tune in to Glee each week.

So, is there any musician out there Miley does respect? Lady Gaga, she says.

“Unlike a lot of artists, all her music does mean something personally."

Do you wanna tell Miley that Gaga recently said it was a dream come true to have her songs covered by Glee? Or should we relay that message instead?

Let's hope Liam Hemsworth did not attend his girlfriend's concert in Portugal on Saturday night. He would not have been pleased to hear the song "Full Circle."

Prior to performing this single for fans in Lisbon, Miley told the crowd:

“It’s about two people. They’re always gonna come back together no matter what anyone says or the bad people that try to keep you apart. Surprise surprise, it’s about a Jonas brother."

Ouch. Sorry, Liam. Nick and Miley have a romantic history together, one whose future got a bit brighter after the former broke up with Selena Gomez in April.

The chorus of "Full Circle" reads: "I try to run, but I keep on coming back full circle and I can’t jump the track, can’t let you go.”

That's a pretty clear message to Nick, isn't it? It's also incredibly profound, as Miley likes to tell everyone her music is, more than any other pop star in the business.

In a Billboard cover story, Miley Cyrus sounds both mature and cocky.

First, she admits that she's come a long way since she auditioned for Hannah Montana at the age of 12:

"I'm just at a certain place where I've changed a lot as a person. I've grown up a lot, which everyone does."

That's certainly true, but not everyone talks about her music as if it's full of heart, soul and profound meaning that simply can't be found in the pop world. Check out how Cyrus describes her upcoming album:

"I listen to zero pop music, which is really weird for someone who makes pop music. My 13-year-old self would have beaten up my 17-year-old self because she would be like, 'You're a sellout!' But that's not what it is.

"It's not dance music that's just about, 'Ooh, I'm in the club and everyone's looking at me.' It means something. I'm not just sitting here trying to sell glitz and glamour... because no one lives that life. A lot of [pop] songs are super shallow, but this music isn't."

Actually, Miles, your music is EXACTLY like that. The lyrics to "Can't Be Tamed" include these lines: Have to get my way/24 hours a day/‘Cause I’m hot like that/Every guy everywhere just gives me mad attention...

That's more super shallow than most kiddie pools.

Miley Cyrus is about to make her primetime, network television debut.

Just a few days before her new album is released on June 22, ABC will air a one-hour special titled Miley Cyrus: Live from London.

It will be centered around footage from the singer's concert at O2 Arena in England, which was part of her Wonder World Tour. According to an ABC press release:

The program captures how Miley, who has grown up in the public eye, has grown as an artist, and reveals her natural progression and sophistication. The concert is gleaned from the full-length concert that will be available for sale June 22 on the deluxe version of Miley’s album.

Miley Strolls

Look for Cyrus to perform some of her biggest hits during the program, such as “Seven Things,” “Party in the USA” and “The Climb.”

We're sure Miley will explain to the world why she can't be tamed, as well.

This special airs on June 18 at 8 p.m. Will you tune in for it?

It's been a busy week for Miley Cyrus.

First, she visited a school in Hazard, Kentucky, where the singer contributed to Blessings In A Backpack. This organization provides food and supplies to poverty-stricken children.

A French Throng

As seen below, Miley met with program officials and local school representatives to receive updates on the program’s presence in the lives of its recipients and school-age volunteers. We must give her a round of props for this effort.

Said Cyrus: “Hazard, in fact all of Appalachia, has always been special to me and to my whole family. It’s where we’re from. So the health and education of these Hazard County kids was important to me, and something I felt I really could help do something about... these kids, and this organization, are really amazing.”

From there, Miley may have gotten herself in trouble with Justin Bieber and his fans.

Speaking to Q100's Bert Show yesterday, she had the following to say about The Biebs, with whom she shared dinner two weeks ago: "I have my travel-size boyfriend [Bieber] and I have my oversized security boyfriend [Liam Hemsworth]. It's perfect!"

Uh-oh, Kim Kardashian. Sounds like you have competition for your boy. Who do you think Justin should date, readers: Miley or Kim?

The cage was out. The feathers were in full effect. And Miley Cyrus pretty much replicated her "Can't Be Tamed" music video on Dancing with the Stars last night.

But did the singer go too far?

Totally Tameless

Around the one-minute mark below, a female back-up dancer sidles up next to Miley, is dipped by the singer - and then the camera cuts away suddenly just as Cyrus leans her face down toward this female companion's neck/cleavage.

Dancing with the Stars airs on ABC, which is the same network that barred Adam Lambert from the air for awhile after his raunchy AMA performance. Might Miley now be in trouble with the network, and any of her conservative fans?

With a new album on the way, fans can look forward to more Miley Cyrus than usual over the next few weeks.

When and where is this singer coming to a TV screen, city or area near you? We've got the deets...

  • Miley will perform "Cant Be Tamed" on tonight's Dancing with the Stars result show. Sources say: "Miley wants to make a big splash, so she's put a lot of work into this performance."
  • Later this week, she'll visit Kentucky on behalf of Blessings in a Backpack, a charity that provides hungry children with packs full of sustenance. "The kids don't even know she's coming yet," said an insider. "It is abject poverty in that area. When you are feeding these children you are making a difference in their education, their self-esteem."
  • On June 5, Cyrus will play a concert in London's G-A-Y nightclub. Other stars to have performed there include Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey Lady GaGa and, most recently, Adam Lambert.

It's been a controversial month for Miley Cyrus.

First, the singer released the official musical video for "Can't Be Tamed," sending a clear message to anyone that viewed it: So long, Hannah Montana!

Then, another video landed the singer in hot water: she was filmed grinding and bumping with movie producer Adam Shankman.

Through it all, though, Liam Hemsworth has remained by her side. The Australian actor told Hollywood Life that "Can't Be Tamed" is a "great" video and:

“Everyone gets criticism, it’s kind of what comes with this job... everybody’s trying to bring you down. She’s got a good head on her shoulders.”

Just Strolling

As for his relationship with Miley, Liam added:

“We get along great, she’s a great girl. We work great together."

Apparently, Liam's vocabulary is as varied as his girlfriend's wardrobe choices. Still, these two do appear to be a stable couple and we can't knock Hemsworth for standing by his gal.

This just in: Miley Cyrus doesn't only lap dance on tape!

On the heels of her controversial video with Adam Shankman, Cyrus has filmed a a new promo for the 2010 Much Music Video Awards.

They air on June 20 and will feature performances by Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Miley herself.

We've also uncovered a few shots of Cyrus taken during the filming of this video. Again, they aren't as racy as past pictures of the 17-year old singer, but they'll have to suffice...

Man, what a tease.

After hearing about a video that depicted Miley Cyrus giving Adam Shankman a lap dance at last year's wrap party for The Last Song, we were excited to watch it and lay into Miley like usual.

We had the puns all ready: Miley Cyrus? More like Miley SIN-rus!

Alas, the minute-long tape has now been leaked - and it's disappointingly tame. If parents truly yanked their kids from this gathering because Miley was acting too lewd, well, they really shouldn't show their children her "Can't Be Tamed" video.

Check out this scarcely dirty bit of dancing below.
