The First Annual Tournament of THG has come to an end.
We began with 16 top stars in mid-December, with the simple mission of determining our readers' favorite celebrity on THG. Your votes narrowed it down to Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato, who waged an epic championship round battle.
The margin was RAZOR-THIN: Just 50.1 percent for the champion and 49.9 for the runner-up. Could Lovatics carry their girl to victory, or would the Smilers prevail?

The final round features the two young stars who emerged from a field of 16 to be the last women standing: Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato. And it's too close to call!
Miles beat Robert Pattinson fairly handily in the semifinals, while Demi dusted Katy Perry. Now they meet each other, and after more than 27,000 votes, it's still a nail biter.

The young singer/actress Tweeted a photo today of her, sister Brandi and friend Denika hanging out at a laundromat, with Miley in a hamper and also in a holiday mood.
“I hope everyone has a merry xmas," Miley wrote along with the photo. "2 make it more special try 2 spend every second w the ones u love & dont take their QT away by tweeting! Its x-mas make sure everyone you love knows how much.”

Miley Cyrus Curses Off Alleged Fan, Explains Actions
Miley Cyrus was involved in yet another videotaped scandal this week, but this time it's hard not to side with the superstar. Here's what went down:
While on vacation in Costa Rica with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, Miley stopped to pose with a few fans. But she then had to go and turned to walk away... only for one onlooker to refer to her as an "asshole." Cyrus whipped around and replied (20-second mark, below):
"What the f-ck? Are you for real? We're on vacation!"
Miley later took to Twitter and explain ed her reaction:
"Just to clear something up I would NEVER swear to a fan. When someone yells something SO rude making ME look like an 'a**hole' in front of fans who I am more than happy 2 take a picture w/ i cant tolerate that kind of rudeness. Every1 who was there apologized 4 the womans brusque behavior. She obviously wasnt a fan. Hope every1 has a Merry Christmas! LOVE 2 ALL!"
In far more positive video news, Cyrus has joined other celebrities in this campaign to promote charitable help in Haiti.
Miley Cyrus Movie Opening Delayed Due to Scandal, Lack of Funds
Whether or not Miley Cyrus was joking about her affection for marijuana, the star's recent scandal has had a negative impact on her big screen career.
Sources confirm that Miley's next movie - the comedy LOL, which also stars Demi Moore and Ashley Greene - was scheduled for an international release in either late 2011 or early 2012. However, that opening has now been scrapped in large part due to last-minute editing out of a scene in which Miley's character smokes cigarettes with her friends.
Producers are hoping to avoid any and all controversy related to this topic.
So, when might LOL hit American theaters? That is also uncertain, as Lionsgate is facing significant financial problems.
The studio simply can't afford to market the film and is reportedly hoping to make enough bank on The Hunger Games - which, ironically, stars Miley's boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth - this spring to then turn its efforts back over to Cyrus and company.
LOL is based a remake of a French hit and centers on Lola (Cyrus) and her teenage pals, as they navigate the world of high school romance and friendship.

In a word: No. That's basically Miley Cyrus' response to rumors that she has undergone breast enhancement surgery.
The chatter took off yesterday after Star Magazine published quotes from supposed professionals, all of whom studied Miley's cleavage at a special CNN event this week and concluded that she most likely got a boob job.
"Thank you for the compliment but these babies are all mine," the singer has Tweeted. "I wish they'd realize you don't have to be fake to be beautiful!"
