Within hours of the Internet buzzing over a rumored Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth make-out session, the spoiled young singer took to Twitter to shoot down this story.

She wrote:

new tweet

There are just a few problems with this reply:

   1. Blogs did not create this story; it was reported by People magazine and The New York Daily News;
   2. This is not random speculation; Alex Emanuel, a respected Broadway actor, says he witnessed the Miley make-out session;
   3. No one said Cyrus had a boyfriend. The rumor is that she was simply getting to first base with someone. Based on the way she dresses and acts, Miley doesn't seem like a one-guy kind of girl anyway.
   4. Notice how Cyrus always makes herself the center of the universe? We hate to break it to Miley, but reporting on her life is far from our "reason to breathe." It's just a job, sort of like how hers involves being a puppet for Disney.

In June, Miley Cyrus described her co-star in The Last Song, Liam Hemsworth, as a "hot boy."

Now, based on multiple reports, it sounds like the Disney icon has been working up a sweat with the Australian actor - if you know what we mean!

We mean this: the pair has been spotted kissing... off camera!

Both The New York Daily News and People quote witnesses that say Cyrus and Hemsworth played an intense game of tonsil hockey at the Nashville airport on Wednesday.

In fact, actor Alex Emanuel was standing a few feet away and said the rumored couple was "full-on making out." He told People:

"[Miley] jumped into his arms and threw her arms around his neck and kissed him and leaned back and he was dipping her. It was like a scene out of an old movie where the guy's getting on a train and they're saying their goodbyes."

Miley has admitted that she and Liam hang out by themselves. Less than a week ago, she Tweeted:

"I kinda want to go see 'The Time Traveler's Wife' but I think I'll just sit around and eat sushi and watch "Liar Liar" with Liam :)"

Ironically, the question now becomes: was Miley being a liar liar when she said she did not have a boyfriend earlier this month?

Or will she finally own up to her relationship with Hemsworth? If so, we're sure she'll do so it in a mature, Cyrus-like manner. Something along the lines of a Tweet that reads:

@justingaston: SUCK IT!

Apparently, Miley Cyrus isn't spending ALL her time Tweeting for attention.

The young singer has compiled a new CD, one titled "The Time of Our Lives" that consists of a few famous tracks. Included on it are:

  • "Before The Storm” (her duet with Nick Jonas)
  • “Party In The USA” (her striptease anthem)
  • “When I Look at You” (from the upcoming The Last Song soundtrack)

The video below offers a few snippets from each single on the album, which will be available on August 31.

Billy Ray Cyrus has no problem with the fact that his daughter dances around and dresses like a stripper.

After all, it's all in the name of entertainment!

"You know what? I just think that Miley loves entertaining people," Billy Ray told Access Hollywood when asked this week about his daughter's pole dance at the Teen Choice Awards. "She loves singing [and] songwriting."

Hmmm, we guess this means other young artists that actually dress appropriately for their age - such as Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato - must hate entertaining, singing and songwriting.

  • Stripper Impression
  • Billy Ray

Overall, Billy Ray said he teaches his kids to dance to the beat of their own drummer; or to strip in the name of their own ego, as the case may be here.

"I always tell her to love what you're doing and stay focused for the love of the art and not worry so much about opinion," he said.

Ah yes. Because that's exactly what Miley Cyrus is all about: art.

Do you think her pole dance - which can be seen in its entirety HERE - was inappropriate?

Count Emily Osment among the minority these days.

While more and more people grow sick of Miley Cyrus and her attention-seeking antics, the young actress wants as much Miley as she can get.

"I don't think anyone wants to see Hannah Montana ever end, so I think we need to do that," Emily Osment, who plays Lilly Truscott on the series, told E! News. "We need to do something like Hannah Montana Goes to London or Hannah Montana on Ice!"

Hannah Montana Star

Osment doesn't just want another big screen version of the sitcom; she craves another season of the Disney Channel show, which is set to start shooting 15 to 28 episodes for its upcoming fourth season.

"I would love to do a season five," she said. "I have a blast with these guys."

What do you think? Should Miley Cyrus continue to do Hannah Montana? Or is it time to move on?

It's been a sad month for Miley Cyrus on Twitter.

She's alerted followers to her heartbreaking love life, while also crying out for attention by fighting with ex-boyfriend Justin Gaston in the most public of forums.

So, can you blame a girl for just wanting to get crazy and party?

Yes, when that girl is 16, she's considered a role model by millions and she's quoting a song that references Jack Daniels, beer and tight jeans (that are meant to make "little boys come undone").

Indeed, in a Tweet last night, Cyrus quoted a line from the Gretchen Wilson song "I'm Here for the Party."

Latest Tweet

Doesn't Miley's life sound awesome? Don't you just wish you were her?!?

That's the basic message she's trying to get across in this latest plea for attention.

Yes, Miles, we know you're here for the party. The pity party, that typically is.

Miley Cyrus and Justin Gaston need to get a room.

A chat room, that is!

The former couple continues to stage a public, immature battle via Twitter, as Gaston posted the following message today:

"People mistake stupidity for bravery way to [sic] easily."

This was quickly followed by Miley's response:

"Yeah. I love when people mistake bravery with writing a few stupid tweets trying to make it seem like they don't care. You're afraid to love."

Note to Cyrus: you can't refer to Tweets as "stupid" in your own Tweet.

Another note to Cyrus: shut the heck up! Why on Earth are you airing your private grievances in such a public forum? Send a text message. Write an email. Make a phone call.

Annoying Duo

Miley Cyrus and Justin Gaston are fighting... and they want the whole world to know!

No one is questioning the validity of Justin and Miley's angst. There may very well be a great deal of pent us emotion and frustration inside each individual. But we will continue to question the attention-seeking means in which these two communicate.

Sorry, Miles. But you can't work a stripper pole one day; and then pretend to be an innocent, scorned teenager the next. At least not via Twitter.

Get a private life.

We get it: Miley Cyrus is a 16-year old girl, confused about love and often weary about the way boys treat her.

That's perfectly normal and understandable.

But this is not: why does Cyrus continue to post Twitter messages about her supposedly sorry state of affairs? We'd love to leave her alone and ler Miley focus on these important issues... but she keeps throwing them in our face!

The latest example of the singer's need to draw attention to herself took place yesterday afternoon, when she Tweeted the message below, followed by the photo below:

Another Tweet

Poor Miley. It must really be tough to fight off the advances of cute boys such as Nick Jonas and Justin Gaston.

But that isn't even the point. If Cyrus feels like the "story of her life" is one of heartbreak, so be it. We've all been there. We can sympathize with her pain.

We just can't understand why she chooses to make it so public. Doesn't she have a group of friends she can talk to? Is she really so lonely and/or desperate for attention that she must share every iota of her life with everyone else?

We're actually asking these questions. Leave a comment and give us an answer.

You have to sort of hand it to Miley Cyrus: in the video below, she's directing attention to a cause that isn't 100% about herself. That's a big step for the egomaniacal superstar.

Cyrus has teamed with fellow teen icons the Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato on the song "Send It On."

The single is meant to unite these stars and their fans in calling attention to the environment while also lining the pockets of Disney executives.

As key parts in Disney’s Friends for Change: Project Green - an effort to alert viewers on the best ways to protect the planet - Miley, Nick, Kevin, Joe, Selena and Demi are modeling themselves after the celebrities involved in the 1985 "We are the World" campaign, a song written by Michael Jackson that benefited African famine relief.

Both projects may have good intentions, but both are incredibly high on the unintentional comedy scale. Just try to keep a straight face when the camera zooms in on Nick Jonas below:

It's not enough that Miley Cyrus danced like a stripper at this week's Teen Choice Awards.

Nor does the fact that she bought a new pair of glasses (always a monumental event) and bragged about them via Twitter suffice.

Indeed, Cyrus still craves more attention. She can never be anywhere but at the center of the universe of her fans, who are actually starting to dwindle by the day as they realize just how self-absorbed Miley can be.

The latest example? Cyrus has created a rumor, rebuffed it and then acted as though the entire world is talking about.

She posted the following message on her Twitter account yesterday:

Miley Twitter

There's just one problem with this plea: no one has accused Miley of having a boyfriend. No one. Not a single celebrity gossip site. No supermarket tabloids. Trust us, we know. We check them all everyday.

And, gee, if people are talking about Miley's new man, perhaps it's because she's drawing attention to it herself by mysteriously posting flirtatious Tweets left and right. Has she ever heard of email?!? Why would she even want the world to see such personal messages? Wait. We already know the answer to that.

This is actually the second time Cyrus has taken to Twitter to rebuke an accusation she made up in her head.

In May, she lashed out at critics of her body, despite the fact that none existed. Can Miley really not take a single day off from trying to create her own buzz and garner her own sympathy?

It's pathetic. Just sing, act and let your fans make up their own mind about you, Miles.

Miley Cyrus also posted this photo of herself on Twitter. She wants everyone to tell her how adorable she looks.
