They may not be actual Friends With Benefits, but they're co-stars with chemistry, as Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis prove in the pages of Elle.

While rumors linking the two have run rampant since the film started generating buzz (and since his split with Jessica Biel), there's nothing there.

Or so they claim. Could've fooled us ...

Mila Kunis is also single after splitting with Macaulay Culkin, but despite how great they look on-screen together, there's nothing going on in real life.

Really. Just yesterday, rumors surfaced that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are back together, or at least in the process of possibly reconciling.

We wish them both the best ... and will continue to wish they were an item as we soak in the joint hotness of these photos from Elle's cover story:

Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis star in a movie called Friends With Benefits, are both hot, and both newly single. So they're totally dating, right?

No, the twosome adamantly claims.

The co-stars addressed rumors of hooking up off-camera head on at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday with a little friendly P.D.A. – and then some.

So are they boyfriend and girlfriend? More like brother and sister, Kunis says. Which we can totally see, because siblings always do stuff like this:

"Even though we're in the movie Friends With Benefits, Mila and I have never dated," JT clarified, before showing just how comfortable he is with Kunis.

We certainly didn't see that one coming.

Luckily, unlike his infamous Super Bowl halftime show with Janet Jackson, there was no wardrobe malfunction after he got to second base with Mila.

Mila Kunis has joined Darren Aronofsky in the corner of Natalie Portman.

In response to accusations that the Oscar winner scarcely took part in any of the choreography depicted in the movie, Kunis tells Entertainment Weekly: “Natalie danced her ass off. I think it’s unfortunate that this is coming out and taking attention away from [the praise] Natalie deserved and got.”

It's also coming out the week Black Swan comes to DVD, which, ironically, will likely drive interest in the film.

Kunis adds that she and Portman have been open about the help they received from experienced dancers such as Sarah Lane, who has accused filmmakers of covering up her role.

"She did do every ounce of every one of her dances,” Kunis says of her co-star. “[Lane] wasn’t used for everything. It was more like a safety net. If Nat wasn’t able to do something, you’d have a safety net. The same thing that I had - I had a double as a safety net. We all did. No one ever denied it.”

We've heard the accounts of Justin Timberlake flirting with Mila Kunis. That may or may not be happening ... but a whole lot more is on the big screen!

In Friends With Benefits, Kunis and Timberlake make a pact to forge a strictly physical relationship after both being dumped by their significant others.

JT's love life has become front page tabloid news since his recent split with Jessica Biel. The timing of this film's release isn't helping matters for him.

It's unclear whether it works out for their characters, but many people think Justin and Mila would make a cute couple, and it's easy to see why.

As we know, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have split. Whether it was mutual or one-sided depends on what celebrity gossip you read that day.

One common rumor is that his lovely Friends With Benefits co-star Mila Kunis was somehow involved. The rationale behind that assumption is this:

It's Mila Kunis. She is gorgeous. The movie is called Friends With Benefits.

While reps for Timberlake, Kunis and Biel (whose friends deny she is devastated by the split) are not commenting, we doubt there's anything to it.

That doesn't mean he's not interested in her now, however.

"Justin is very interested in Mila," a source close to the actress, also newly single, tells E! "They've been flirting, but so far nothing has happened."

Operative words from this Mila source: SO FAR. Give it time.

Come on. Why fight it, right? Just look at the photo above and note the obvious chemistry and good genes. We've got to get these two together.

Just days after the Timberlake-Jessica Biel split was announced last week, speculation grew about Mila Kunis' possible role in the pair's breakup.

Hey, she's hot. They star in a movie called Friends with Benefits together. It's obvious that she came between Justin and Jessica, right? Eh, no.

"Mila had nothing to do with their break-up," a source close to JT says.

"In fact, no one came between them. There was no third-party involved. They decided their relationship ran its course and it was time to move on."

Fair enough, but now that they're single, will Justin pursue Mila? Don't bet on it. The same source sums it up in simple, amusing fashion to People:

"There's no relationship," the source says. "They star in a movie called Friends with Benefits but they're just friends. That's it. They are not together."

Killjoy. You have to admit, they'd make a cute couple though, right?

It's a celebrity fashion clash of cuties from the Academy Awards.

Cuties may not even do these two justice, based on the dresses they donned Sunday night. Black Swan star Mila Kunis' gown can best be described as head-snapping for reasons we don't even need to get into here. But seriously, wow.

Mandy Moore, meanwhile, was also on hand to perform "I See the Light" from her hit animated film Tangled, and looked so beautiful it was hard to believe this was Mandy Moore. No offense to Mandy Moore, it's just ... wow again.

Like his beloved character in Home Alone, we'd have to imagine Macaulay Culkin woke up this morning, looked in the mirror, clasped his cheeks and screamed.

That's because the actor is no longer dating Mila Kunis. He and the beauty ended their eight-year relationship over the weekend, as the latter's rep says "the split was amicable, and they remain close friends."

Kunis has already been nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in Black Swan. Oscar buzz is also circulating around the actress, who has been open in the past about her views on marriage.

"It's just not something that's important to me," Kunis said in December 2009. "I'm too selfish to have [children] now, but when I do, I don't feel like I need to be married. I need to have a person in my life who will care for me and my children - nothing else."
