Pete Wentz and Michelle Trachtenberg were spotted in L.A. this weekend grabbing coffee ... and each other! Well, maybe. There wasn't exactly blatant PDA, but they sparked rumors that fireworks may be flying well beyond July 4.

In light of his pending divorce from Ashlee Simpson, could Wentz and Trachtenberg – who were an item years ago – be rekindling their romance?

Their outing comes shortly after Ashlee Simpson and Vincent Piazza of Boardwalk Empire were linked romantically. Perhaps both are moving on.

Trachtenberg's and Wentz's respective reps had no comment. It will be interesting to see if Pete and the recurring Gossip Girl star keep hanging out.

Despite their estrangement, there appears to be no bad blood between the parents as they took son Bronx to lunch in Studio City, Calif., recently.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) gathered last night to honor their own, and the celebrities came out in force to light up the red carpet.

Among those on hand? A pair of Gossip Girl hotties.

Blake Lively looked very pretty in pink, opting for bold color in a slim, strapless Michael Kors fuchsia dress, accentuated by jewelry and her loose, blonde locks.

Meanwhile, Michelle Trachtenberg looked uptown chic in a Behnaz Sarafpour dress with a silver bustier top and navy skirt. No sign of Evil G lurking up in here!

Ashlee Simpson is married to Pete Wentz and she's the mother of his child, but the no-talent hack is still insecure when it comes to his former flames.

Out-of-control Ash loudly trash-talked Gossip Girl star Michelle Trachtenberg Monday night at the "DJ Hero" party at LA's Wiltern Theatre, reports say.

The trouble started when Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were seated near Trachtenberg, who dated Wentz before the Fall Out Boy bassist met Ash.

"The evening started off very civilly," reports the New York Post. "Pete and Ashlee had a pleasant conversation with Michelle and her boyfriend for close to 20 minutes, even showing [Trachtenberg] some baby pictures of [their baby] Bronx."

But then Ashlee Simpson started drinking and all hell broke loose.

An increasingly loud Simpson began to give Wentz a lap dance while staring directly at Michelle and hurling insults at her: "She was grinding up on Pete like a stripper. It was actually pretty disgusting," a witness said.

Things reached a climax when Simpson, who just landed a role in the CW's remake of Melrose Place, screamed at a confused Michelle Trachtenberg, "I hope you know, the whole time you were dating Pete, I was [bleep]ing him!"

Classy.

Jessica's younger sis had to be restrained at the event, where Jay-Z and Eminem performed. Ashlee Simpson was eventually dragged away by bystanders.

At a recent pool party hosted by NIVEA, fellow celebrities such as Emmy Rossum and Michelle Trachtenberg looked nice, pretty and conservative.

But not our gal, Kim. She rocked a boob-enhancing swimsuit as she tackled the NIVEA-sponsored "Good-bye Cellulite, Hello Bikini Challenge."

The beauty company is challenging stars to shed a few extra pounds and Kardashian - who previously spoke proudly about her curves - seems up to the task.

"I am definitely interested in improving the appearance of cellulite," she said. "That's why I'm taking the "NIVEA Good-bye Cellulite, Hello Bikini Challenge" - its combination of nutrition, fitness, style and skin care expertise work together to help me look and feel my bikini best."

She may only be 22 (give her metabolism a few more years), but Michelle Trachtenberg says she doesn't diet. In fact, she doesn't even work out.

"I love food, I hate working out," the actress said. "I don't get any of that endorphins and stuff that keeps people going. I went through a chicken fingers phase about a year ago...Chicken fingers, ranch dressing, MMM."

When she does thow in a healthy meal, the actress says she usually eats sushi or a salad and tries to "take a multi-vitamin".

And then there's her favorite: "I love club sandwiches; The multi-layer, the cheddar cheese, and avocado."

One thing's clear: Michelle's definitely worked up an appetite playing Gossip Girl resident mean girl Georgina Sparks.

Her character spends most of her time tormenting others around her. But in real life, Trachtenberg is nothing like Georgina.

"Unfortunately I didn't have the best school experience because kids can be very cruel," she says.

Michelle Trachtenberg is joining the cast of Gossip Girl.

The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer and EuroTrip star will portray Georgina Sparks, a troublemaker from Serena's (Blake Lively) past. As earlier reported, thin actress Mischa Barton had been offered the role.

This marks the second big project for Trachtenberg in 2008. She's also starring alongside Zac Efron in the movie 17 Again, out in August.

Michelle Trachtenberg has a new boyfriend - and he's smooth as butter.
The actress was seen all over Las Vegas this past weekend with Brandon Hirsch, a manager at New York City hot spot Butter.

The couple first stepped out Friday night at the Killers concert at the Hard Rock Hotel, where they kissed in the crowd and Hirsch swept Trachtenberg off her feet as the band launched into their hit "Mr. Brightside."

Later that evening, the two headed to Caesars' Palace's Pure Nightclub, dancing to tunes spun by none other than Michelle's ex, DJ AM. That must've been awkward.

A source close to Trachtenberg told People magazine that the Jessica Biel look-a-like met Hirsch two years ago, but two got reacquainted about six months ago and have been quietly dating.

While Trachtenberg lives in Los Angeles, "She's becoming bicoastal and spending a lot more time in New York to be with him," said the source. "She wants to be really low-key about the relationship since this is the first time she's dated someone who is not in the business."

Perhaps she could chat with Jennifer Aniston to see how one handles this sort of scenario. After all, that star is reportedly dating a non-actor in Paul Sculfor.
