We know someone who won't be purchasing a Michaele Salahi barbie doll.

Real Housewives of D.C. socialite Lynda Erkiletian spoke to E! News this week and was asked about her controversial, self-centered co-star. What advice does she have for Salahi?

"Get a therapist," Erkiletian said. "I think it's really unfortunate that people feel like they have to make things up to create a spotlight. I think it's better to just work for it as opposed to making it up."

Michaele recently announced - in a televised interview, of course -  that she had multiple sclerosis. But even this revelation didn't sit well with Erkiletian.

Not everyone is sympathetic to Michaele Salahi. The reality star admitted on Fox News this week that she is suffering from Multiple Sclerosis, but that hasn't stopped a Real Housewife from saying of Michaele and husband Tareq:

"They are an embarrassment to the franchise. They are a loose cannon. Now, Michaele has revealed she has multiple sclerosis; next she'll be announcing she is pregnant with triplets to get attention."

Reportedly, Bravo executives are equally annoyed by the couple. With ratings low for The Real Housewives of D.C., a source told Pop Eater:

On the second episode of The Real Housewives of D.C., the stomachs of viewers turned Michaele Salahi celebrated a birthday and received lavish gifts from her husband.

Such as what, you may ask? Our THG correspondent is here to provide that answer, as well as a humorous detailed review of the latest installment. Take it away...

Tonight's episode was a little slow. I think the most interesting character could be Ebong, Lynda's tall, dark and mysterious younger (much, much younger) man. I hope we learn more about him in episodes to come. The most random moment of the show was when Stacie's husband, Jason, took Ebong and Rich into Aunt Frances' basement to tell them about his invention: "The Penile Volumetric Measuring Device."

WHAT?!!? He actually has a patent for it. Why?!?  And what does his Harvard MBA wife think about it? And where was stylist Paul Wharton during this conversation?? I can't wait to see the Penile Volumetric Measuring Device for sale on HSN.

That brings me to stylist Paul Wharton. What is the deal? Why is he BFF with all these old ladies? We learned that Lynda threw him a party for his 30th birthday but he was only allowed to invite 25 people.  According to Michaele, that made him really sad because he has more than 25 friends. So she decided to throw a party where Paul Wharton could invite as many people as he wants!

We also learned how Mary met Michaele. It seems that Michaele used to work at the Trish McEvoy counter at Nordstrom selling make-up. But then she married Tareq so now she goes to lots of hotels, makes the BEST Virginian wine and has a horse named Sparkles!!

Whoopi Goldberg is not the only person to despise Michaele Salahi.

Just one episode into The Real Housewives of D.C. on Bravo, the reality star's castmates are already talking badly about her and even making threats about future seasons.

Michaele Salahi, Husband

After Michaele and husband Tareq didn't appear at the show's season premiere party yesterday, Catherine Ommanney said: "I don’t want to see them; I don't want to talk to them. I don’t want to be associated with them."

Would she return for a second season if the Salahis were still part of the cast? "Absolutely, categorically, no. I'll have to have therapy the rest of my life to get over being associated with her."

Another Housewife, Lynda Erkiletian, shared a similar sentiment with Us Weekly: "I was very happy to hear that they had their own premiere party and would be attending that and not torturing us any more than they have in the past."

Meanwhile, Mary Schmidt Amons takes the side of Goldberg when it comes to the tiff between Salahi and The View. She says:

"I don’t think the Salahis are really good at saying they’re sorry to anyone. It’s not my place to judge. All I know is that the accusations coming forward from the Salahi camp are completely false. It was on camera, a 200-person audience - Whoopi was just trying to encourage her to get back on task to the question, just get back to the question and answer the question."

Hmmm... remember when Stacie Scott Turner said this version of the Housewives franchise would focus on sophistication over fighting? That was funny.

Bravo has confirmed the latest Sign of the Apocalypse:

Michaele Salahi, who made headlines with husband Tareq in November 2009 by actually crashing a White House party, has officially been cast on The Real Housewives of D.C.

The network refers to the five chosen women as “connected D.C. power players,” who “have their pulse on the most important cultural events, political galas, gallery openings, and fundraisers in Washington society.”

Then again, four of the cast members in this diverse city are white; and their occupations include a modeling agency owner, a real estate agent and, well, Michaele Salahi. If these are connected players in our nation's capital... the nation is in serious trouble!

Joining Salahi (pictured) on the series, which premieres August 5, are:

Catherine Ashley Ommanney: New to the country, this British interior designer moved to America in the summer of 2008 when she married Charles Ommanney, a prizewinning photojournalist with Newsweek. The couple has two kids, Jade and Ruby.

Mary Schmidt Amons: A mother of five, who is described by Bravo as “the true Washingtonian and granddaughter of radio and TV personality Arthur Godfrey."

Stacie Scott Turner: A graduate of Howard University and owner of a Harvard MBA. She worked in marketing at BET before becoming a real estate agent. Involved in many political fundraisers.

Lynda Erkiletian: The 52-year old is a divorced mother of four. Owns T.H.E. Artist Agency, a Georgetown modeling firm that represents hundreds of models and stylists. Bravo says she likes astrology, "shooting clay pigeons, riding ATVs and cooking a mean fried chicken." Well, okay then.

Which of these women will be the next Danielle Staub? Sadly, millions of people will likely tune in to find out.

Sorry, Sarah Palin.

Incredibly, you're NOT the most pathetic person to land a new reality show this month.

Tareq and Michaele Salahi - the absolute morons who crashed a party at the White House last year - won't simply star in The Real Housewives of D.C.; the awful couple will be a focal point of the Bravo program.

The Salahis actually averted the Secret Service and shook hands with President Barack Obama, first lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and many others in November 2008. Reportedly, the pair was being filmed as part of its audition for this series when the crashing took place.

A dozen episodes of the first season have been shot and are slated to premiere in July, according to The Daily Beast. Paris Hilton's aunts and Kelsey Grammer's wife will also star on the show.

Looks like the competition for This Year's Sign of the Apocalypse is over before it began.
