The Salahis are idiots who need to take a long walk off a short pier.

We may have just risked litigation by saying that, because White House party crasher turned loser reality star Tareq Salahi is hinting that he may sue Celebrity Rehab for illegally firing his wife because of her "health condition."

Tareq and Michaele

It's unclear what "condition" Tareq is referring to, but whatever.

Barack would not approve of this nonsense.

Michaele Salahi has said that she suffers from multiple sclerosis, which we feel bad about and all, but milking it for Z-list fame won't get you sympathy.

Tareq and his lawyers issued a statement saying, "[Michaele] was fired due to her health condition [in] violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act."

Earlier this week, Tareq said that his wife's only addiction was "chocolate" ... leaving many wondering why she was even on the show in the first place.

They later said she went on the program to receive help from Dr. Drew to treat MS. It's not clear how the good doctor planned on doing so, however.

Sorry, Sarah Palin.

Incredibly, you're NOT the most pathetic person to land a new reality show this month.

Tareq and Michaele Salahi - the absolute morons who crashed a party at the White House last year - won't simply star in The Real Housewives of D.C.; the awful couple will be a focal point of the Bravo program.

The Salahis actually averted the Secret Service and shook hands with President Barack Obama, first lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and many others in November 2008. Reportedly, the pair was being filmed as part of its audition for this series when the crashing took place.

A dozen episodes of the first season have been shot and are slated to premiere in July, according to The Daily Beast. Paris Hilton's aunts and Kelsey Grammer's wife will also star on the show.

Looks like the competition for This Year's Sign of the Apocalypse is over before it began.

If you thought the Balloon Boy hoax was as far as you'd see aspiring reality TV jokers go for 15 minutes of fame, you don't know Michaele and Tareq Salahi.

The Virginia couple somehow managed to crash a state dinner at the White House this week and get up close and personal with President Barack Obama.

They are now the subject of a federal investigation.

The Secret Service is looking to file charges against Michaele and Tareq Salahi, who were attempting to land a spot on Bravo's The Real Housewives of D.C.

On Tuesday, the Salahis snuck into the president's first state dinner, honoring the prime minister of India, then posted pictures of themselves schmoozing.

Amazingly, Michaele and Tareq Salahi even managed to meet Barack and Michelle Obama in a receiving line, bypassing security with no invite or red flag.

Here's them with Vice President Joe Biden on Facebook:

You guys might want to take this pic off Facebook, just FYI.

On the verge of launching the D.C. installment of its reality franchise, Bravo is trying distance itself from it, saying the Salahis' participation is "not finalized."

"[Show producers] Half Yard Productions were filming the Salahis that day as they prepared for the event, that's the extent of our involvement," Bravo said Friday.

So they told producers they were invited and were filmed getting ready. That doesn't explain how they got in, of course, and President Obama isn't taking it lightly.

The matter has been referred to the Secret Service's internal affairs division, leading to a full investigation, according to Secret Service spokesman Jim Mackin.

While Mackin said the agency hasn't determined if party crashing is illegal, it hasn't ruled out pursuing criminal charges against the fame-seeking socialites.

Secret Services is taking full responsibility for the mishap, saying procedures likely weren't followed at the checkpoints and invites weren't checked properly.
