Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket to Attend MJ Tribute Concert

Michael Jackson's kids are planning on attending the upcoming MJ Tribute Concert in person. This in spite of objections from two of their uncles.

Prince, Paris and Blanket have all decided that they want to fly to Wales for the event, regardless of what Jermaine and Randy Jackson think.

An Jackson family rep tells TMZ: "Paris, Blanket and Prince have been asked to attend the MJ Tribute in Wales and they have decided to go."

Jackson Kids

The rep adds that the kids are "extremely excited and they're hoping they will have the opportunity to contribute in some way by making a speech."

"Nothing has been set in stone, but they really hope they can."

Jermaine and Randy are fighting their attendance, as well as the concert itself, which they consider "inappropriate," given that the event is due to take place in October during the involuntary manslaughter trial of Dr. Conrad Murray.

We can see that side of it, but at the same time, Michael's kids - who are said to be so happy these days - should be allowed to honor his memory.

Children of Michael Jackson: Happy!

Michael Jackson must be smiling from above.

Two years after his death, his once-veiled children Prince, 14, Paris, 13, and Blanket, 9, are facing the world and adjusting to their new life with flying colors.

"They are really happy kids now," a source says.

MJ Kids

Paris, Blanket, Prince and some other person we don't know.

Monday, they made a public appearance with their grandmother, Katherine Jackson, and aunt, Latoya Jackson, at a ceremony to donate some of MJ's artwork.

They were also spotted at Six Flags Magic Mountain last week with their cousins, Jermajesty and Jaafar, plus Prince Michael Jackson's girlfriend Niki (sp?).

As summer winds down, the Jacksons - like any kids - will focus on school.

"Prince and Paris are going back to [private school] this year. They love the social aspect of it," says the source of the long home-schooled kids.

Blanket, on the other hand, will stay home to receive his education, at least for now: "He's still very, very shy. He's still home-schooled."

Michael Jackson Estate Courting Big Names For Tribute Concert

Michael Jackson's mother, Katherine, has reached out to some of the biggest stars in music in hopes that they will perform at a tribute show for her son.

Jay-Z, Kanye West, Cee Lo, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Christina Aguilera, Usher, Bruno Mars and others have received invites (below) from Katherine.

Katherine Jackson is asking them to perform 1-2 of their favorite MJ songs in Cardiff, Wales on October 8, promising "first class travel accommodations."

MJ invite

So far, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars have respectfully declined due to scheduling conflicts, while Christina and Kanye are leaning towards going.

Cee Lo Green, meanwhile, has already committed.

Tickets to the event have not gone on sale yet, but it's still very early. Promoters say they will become available once a complete line-up is booked.

It should be a memorable night, to say the least.

Jason Pfeiffer, Alleged Michael Jackson Lover, Sues Dr. Arnold Klein For Harming Singer, Himself

Jason Pfeiffer, the former assistant to Michael Jackson's dermatologist, Dr. Arnold Klein, is suing him for putting MJ's life in danger, according to a new lawsuit.

Pfeiffer, who has made headlines for alleging he had a gay affair with Michael Jackson, says that "Throughout 2009, Michael was a frequent patient of Klein."

The lawsuit says, "Several times, Klein told Pfeiffer to help Michael down to the car because Michael was too drugged up and disoriented to stand on his own."

Jason Pfeiffer says he voiced his concern for Michael's "safety" because he and Klein's nurses "were worried Michael was being 'overmedicated' by Klein."

Pfeiffer says Klein simply told him to "keep his mouth shut."

Moreover, Pfeiffer claims Klein tried to sneak MJ prescription muscle relaxants in 2009 by writing a prescription in Pfeiffer's name. Pfeiffer claims he refused.

He goes on to make various other allegations against Klein:

Judge Dents Dr. Conrad Murray Defense; Won't Admit Michael Jackson Rehearsal Footage

Dr. Conrad Murray was dealt a considerable blow today as the judge in his involuntary manslaughter trial - which begins this fall - ruled that 16 hours of Michael Jackson rehearsal footage is impertinent to Murray's defense.

Murray's lawyers claimed that the tapes, taken before Jackson's ill-fated 2009 This Is It tour, showed him to be in chronically poor, declining health.

The judge disagreed.

Dr. ConradMJ IS ALIVE!!!

Dr. Murray's told it to the judge ... who wasn't buying it.

Dr. Conrad Murray's lawyers wanted the outtakes to prove Jackson was very ill in the days before his death, and therefore - since he was already dying, or so his theory suggests - Dr. Murray can't be held responsible for his death.

But Judge Michael Pastor ruled the outtakes were valuable to Sony (which didn't want to release them and has them protected by armed guards), and also ruled that the videos do not show MJ in noticeably bad health.

Because the hours of video show, in the judge's opinion, a reasonably healthy MJ, it undercuts Dr. Murray's theory that MJ was a lost cause.

Katherine Jackson Shoots Down Michael Jackson Death Conspiracy Theories

Katherine Jackson, the mother of the late Michael Jackson, says she is aware of NO evidence to support any sort of conspiracy surrounding his death.

A number of people, including MJ's sister La Toya Jackson, have suggested there was a conspiracy among people close to the star to kill Michael.

Announcing the Tour

La Toya said she believes people were involved who remain closely involved with the singer's estate, but Katherine has all but shot that down.

Katherine told TMZ this: "It is only natural for people who loved Michael, including family members, to be suspicious about the circumstances."

"So far I have not seen one shred of evidence that anyone associated with Michael’s estate conspired to bring about Michael’s untimely death."

She continues, "If such evidence ever comes to my attention I will be the first to bring those facts to light ... No one loved Michael more than I loved him, but no one should face false accusations, as Michael did, of a crime they did not commit."

The list of falsely accused does not include Dr. Conrad Murray, who Mrs. Jackson believes should absolutely stand trial for involuntary manslaughter.

Dr. Conrad Murray Lawyers Seek Nancy Grace Ban, Possible Sequestration of Jury

Dr. Conrad Murray's lawyers saw what happened to Casey Anthony.

The doctor's legal team told the trial judge they don't want Nancy Grace to influence the jury - not that it worked in Anthony's case, with Grace eviscerating her daily - so they asked the judge to prohibit jurors from watching.

Why anyone would want to anyway is beyond us, but fair point.

Dr. Conrad Murray Gets Wet

Dr. Conrad Murray is free on bail as he awaits trial.

Attorney Michael Flanagan argued it's impractical to tell jurors they can't watch TV - because they simply will anyway - so he wants them sequestered.

We're talking full-on O.J. style.

The idea that Murray, who's charged with involuntary manslaughter in the June 2009 death of Michael Jackson, can't receive a fair trial because of Nancy Grace is dubious, but the case will receive inordinate media scrutiny.

Young Baseball Fan Channels Michael Jackson

The spirit of the late Michael Jackson lives on, be it in this Brazilian cab driver's voice or the dance moves of a kid at Seattle's Safeco Field.

In between innings at a Mariners game, this smooth criminal stole the spotlight from his hometown team (not that difficult, they're 43-48).

Showcasing his skills to the sounds of MJ's iconic "Thriller," the youngster caught the eye of a camera operator and the entire stadium.

All we have to say is swag, bro. SWAG.

Aaron Carter on Michael Jackson Drug Story: FALSE!

Aaron Carter made headlines this week for an OK! Magazine report that quoted him as saying Michael Jackson provided him with cocaine at the age of 15. There's just one problem:

The singer never said anything of the sort!

A rep for Carter didn't simply label the tale a complete fabrication, he referred to an actual YouTube video of the interview between Carter and Daphne Barak. It's hard to argue with this evidence, isn't it?
