As details of Michael Jackson's untimely death continue to unravel, police are searching for Jackson's personal physician, who was living with the troubled star and reportedly gave him daily injections of very powerful morphine-like drugs.

Conrad Robert Murray, M.D., a cardiologist licensed to practice medicine in Texas, was living with Jackson at his rented Beverly Hills mansion.

Michael, Prince and Paris Jackson

The Houston cardiologist was also with the pop superstar when he suffered cardiac arrest Thursday and performed CPR until an ambulance arrived.

It was also Murray's BMW with Texas license plates that was towed away from Jackson's rented mansion by police investigators after the singer died.

The doctor's car was towed from Jackson's residence on Thursday night and it is believed to contain "medications pertinent to the investigation."

Murray's account of what happened could be critical in establishing what happened to Jackson, who is rumored to have suffered a Demerol overdose.

An autopsy on Michael Jackson (1958-2009) is taking place today.

Jermaine Jackson said yesterday that his brother's personal physician tried to resuscitate him at his home, as did the paramedics. Doctors at the hospital then tried to revive Jackson for more than an hour, but were unsuccessful.

The exact cause of his death remains unknown at this moment, however, Jackson's myriad physical problems have been well documented, with some reports eerily suggesting in January that he had just six months to live.

While Conrad Robert Murray is not classified as a missing person, or sought in connection with a crime, police are looking for him so they can question him.

UPDATE: According to TMZ, Murray has surfaced in L.A. and is preparing to speak with law enforcement officials regarding the death of Michael Jackson.

Sacha Baron Cohen may be known for his tasteless humor, but a scene from his new movie which ridicules Michael Jackson has been cut out at the last minute.

It was deemed “in too poor taste,” in light of the fact that Jackson died yesterday at the age of 50. The change was made in time for the Bruno premiere.

A situation like this is almost unheard of, as the studio in charge of the film’s release had to perform the last-second edit in time for the debut last night.

Bruno follows Sacha Baron Cohen’s alias, a gay fashion reporter from Austria (Bruno) on a journey around America. It's Cohen's NC-17 follow-up to Borat.

Bruno Pic

In the deleted scene, Cohen, in character as Bruno, conducts a ridiculous interview with La Toya Jackson, sister of the late Michael, in his chic LA apartment.

After getting her to sit on his “chairs” – Mexican workers bending over on all fours – and then serving her sushi of the hairy body of a naked man, Bruno proceeds to steal La Toya’s cellphone so that he can copy Michael Jackson’s number.

Yeah. Probably a good call to cut that.

The original version of the film has already premiered in Europe including in London, Paris and Berlin, where the comedian has attracted a lot of attention with fancy dress outfits (Sacha Baron Cohen fashion is quite unique) and antics.

Michael Jackson's ex-wife, Debbie Rowe, is poised to take full custody of the two kids she had with the superstar, who died of cardiac arrest yesterday.

It is widely reported that Debbie Rowe gave up her parental rights to Paris Jackson and Michael Jr. (a.k.a. Prince Michael Jackson). That is not true.

During the custody fight that Rowe had with Jackson in 2005, she attempted to give up her parental rights, saying MJ was the greatest father ever.

Retired Judge Stephen Lachs, who presided over the hearing, initially ruled her rights were terminated ... but Lachs later reversed that decision.

Lance Spiegel, a lawyer who represented Jackson at the time, says that under the law, the Department of Children and Family Services must conduct a parental fitness investigation before parental rights are terminated.

That didn't actually happen with Rowe.

He's the one known for wearing masks, but Debbie Rowe, former wife of Michael Jackson, has been shrouded in mystery before and after marriage.

Essentially, Debbie Rowe never gave up anything. As a result, under California law, Rowe is now presumed to be the person who will get custody of the kids.

The only way Rowe can be denied custody is if a court determines it would be "detrimental to the children." Considering they lived with Michael Jackson, that seems unlikely. As for whether Rowe will ask for custody, sources say bet on it.

According to a source close to the situation quoted by TMZ, if Rowe gets custody she will receive "a huge amount of child support from Jackson's estate."

Michael never identified the mother of his youngest child, Prince Michael Jackson II, a.k.a. "Blanket." Who will end up with custody of Blanket is unclear.

The exact cause of Jackson's death is also unclear, although speculation has already arisen that a prescription drug overdose may be responsible.

Here's a picture of Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe in happier times ...

This is far from confirmed, but there are reports circulating that Michael Jackson may have died after getting a Demerol injection yesterday.

The Sun (UK) and TMZ are reporting shortly after the injection of the drug, Jackson's breathing got "slower and slower until it stopped."

MJ in Fear

Again, we cannot confirm this story.

However, after Jackson was badly burned during the filming of a Pepsi ad, he became addicted to painkillers and ended up at the Betty Ford Clinic.

As for painkillers, there are reports he was given Demerol. During his child molestation trial, cops seized syringes and drugs, including Demerol.

Also, law enforcement officials are reportedly looking for a doctor who lived at Jackson's home - and the doctor is nowhere to be found.

An autopsy will be performed on Jackson's body today by a coroner in L.A. Until then, the exact cause of the icon's death remains unknown.

Nevertheless, Brian Oxman - who was the Jackson family's attorney for more than 20 years - suspects that prescription drug abuse may have played a role in Michael Jackson's death, which shocked the world yesterday afternoon.

The legendary Michael Jackson (1958-2009).

"I don't know what caused Michael's death, and I don't want to speculate as to what the causes are," Oxmon said. "I only know that I warned [the family] there was the misuse of prescription medications by people who were enabling him."

"So is that the cause of it? I don't know. People die from various and sundry causes - they have congenital malformations of the heart, they have difficulty with various infections. I don't know what Michael Jackson's death is a result of."

Oxmon says Jackson "had no particular health concerns except that he had broken his leg many years ago, and it hurt him. He had cracked a vertebrae in his back and he took painkillers to try to ease the pain. And now we find ourselves here."

Michael Jackson passed away this afternoon. He was 50 years old.

A 911 call came in at 12:21 p.m. at his Holmby Hills home in L.A. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Los Angeles after suffering cardiac arrest. Paramedics administered CPR to the music icon in the ambulance.

Joe Jackson, father of Michael Jackson, said he had been alerted to the emergency but didn't have details. His mother was reportedly on the way to visit him as well.

"I am in Las Vegas but yes people in Los Angeles called me and are with Michael and tell me he was taken to the hospital," the elder Jackson told an E! News reporter. "His mother is on her way to the hospital now to check in on him.

"I am not sure what's wrong. I am waiting to hear back."

According to TMZ, a Jackson family member said the King of Pop was in "really bad shape" and his brothers were headed to UCLA Medical Center where he was.

He died shortly thereafter.

When paramedics arrived, Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

Michael Jackson is survived by his three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.

He had 13 number one hits during his solo career, considered by many to be the greatest in history. He will be missed. There will never be another like him.

Troubled, enigmatic music icon Michael Jackson is suffering from skin cancer after being diagnosed with the disease a few weeks ago, according to the Sun (UK).

The megastar attended Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles to hear the news last month, but is expected to make a full recovery for his London O2 dates in July.

Michael Jackson Jr. Birth Certificate

The disease could be linked to Jacko’s skin-pigmentation disease vitiligo, although the government has warned of a link between skin bleaching and cancer.

Which is, of course, not in any way remotely suggesting that Michael Jackson's albino-like complexion is anything other than naturally occurring. At all.

“Michael’s tests showed spots of skin cancer on his body, and cells which could turn to skin cancer on his face. He was at first very concerned, but says he has been assured by the doctors that they can treat this and he will recover,” says a source.

The plastic surgery hall of fame member has had so much work done in the past, it's hard to imagine this is not at all related. But we hope he's okay.

Michael is currently rehearsing for his string of sell-out dates in the UK and his business manager, Dr. Tomhe says he “couldn’t be in better shape.”

He must mean physically, and even that's a stretch. As for reports that the singer has six months to live, Jackson's handlers had no comment.

If Britney Spears exceeded our raunchy expectations with her If U Seek Amy video, Michael Jackson obliterated our creepy expectations with this.

Embattled in the mortgage crisis, Jacko has fired off a legal attack in the hopes of keeping his belongings from Neverland off of the auction block.

Michael, Paris and Prince Jackson

However, even these legal papers come fully equipped with an item-by-item breakdown of the bizarre, disturbing items on his California property.

A sample of the works of art on the 2,952 item list:

  • boy with accordion
  • boy sitting on bricks
  • boy w/ baton and hat w/ feathers
  • two boys on swing bar
  • two boys with ladder
  • boys sleeping on bench
  • boys milking goat
  • boy on a toy car with girl
  • boy pulling 2 boys on a bike
  • boy lifting girl
  • 2 boys sitting on a sunflower
  • little boy with turquoise overalls on a stand
  • bronze boy and girl hugging
  • bronze boy carrying a fruit basket
  • boys catching fish

We could go on but you get the idea. Michael Jackson also has an item called "child's upper body mannequin." Not to worry, though, he owns two of them.

As we talked about at the end of last year, 2008 was a great year for plastic surgery. But there's plenty more where that came from - past and future!

Having said that, The Hollywood Gossip is pleased to announce its inaugural Celebrity Plastic Surgery Hall of Fame class of nine worthy inductees.

They aren't the first, nor will they be the last, to go under the knife and alter their looks unnecessarily. But they most certainly are a deserving bunch.

Without further ado, let's look at the Hall of Famers ...

The Hills' Heidi Montag was a cute girl, but decided that the stereotypical Hollywood bleach-blond tramp look worked better. At least she proudly admits it!

Nice lips, Brittany Murphy. They really look better now that they've quadrupled in size. Makes you wonder why more girls don't have this done as soon as they turn 12.

The National Enquirer has been right before.

Isaiah Washington did make gay slurs about Grey's Anatomy co-star T.R. Knight, Rielle Hunter was in fact sleeping with John Edwards, and Jamie Lynn Spears was pregnant ... albeit a few months after the celeb gossip tabloid said. Still, how prophetic!

This story, though? We have our doubts.

The Enquirer claims Michael Jackson is dying - and has only six months to live.

The supposedly desperately ill star is bedridden much of the time, and his electrifying stage performances are a thing of the past, sources reveal.

Reports first surfaced in late December that Jackson is dying slowly thanks to a rare genetic disorder that will require a lung transplant or else.

Is That a Ghost?

Michael Jackson looks terrifying in this picture, even by his standards.

Although the singer denied these reports, The Enquirer says his health is deteriorating rapidly because of addiction to painkillers and alcohol.

A source close to the star divulged: "It's tragic. His condition is just so far gone, I'd be surprised if he lasts six months.

"Painkillers and booze have caught up with him. The only way he was able to cope with the stress of sex scandals and his roller-coaster life was to mask the pain with substance abuse. But the end result is an addiction that will kill him."

Jacko's dependency on drugs "dates back to when his hair was burned making a Pepsi commercial," said the close source.

Twenty-five years later, "the drugs simply have ravaged him."
