Even Megan Fox has to feel sorry for Michael Bay after this catastrophe.

The Transformers director was the featured speaker for Samsung TV at the CES convention in Las Vegas this afternoon when he was asked a question about his vision, about how he comes up with what we see on screen.

Bay started to answer with confidence, only for the teleprompter to break and for Bay to say he was gonna "wing it."

Except he couldn't do so and proceeded to flee from the stage, leaving both the audience and the moderator dumbfounded. Watch it all transpire now:

Bay later took to his website and wrote:

"Wow! I just embarrassed myself at CES ... I got so excited to talk, that I skipped over the Exec VP's intro line and then the teleprompter got lost. I guess live shows aren't my thing."

Yes, Michael Bay was attacked in Hong Kong this week while filming Transformers 4.

But the director took to his blog today and clarified exactly what went down, saying the actual bizarre event differed from what most reports said about it.

"Some drugged up guys were being belligerent asses to my crew for hours in the morning of our first shoot day in Hong Kong," Bay wrote. "One guy rolled metal carts into some of my actors trying to shake us down for thousands of dollars to not play his loud music or hit us with bricks."

Michael Bay was assaulted yesterday in Hong Kong when two men approached the director during the filming of Transformers 4.

According to a police statement given to Reuters, the attackers were siblings who demanded $12,900 from Bay.

When an argument subsequently broke out, one of the men struck Bay in the face and then tried to fight off a trio of officers who arrived on the scene.

But the brothers were eventually apprehended and arrested on suspicion of blackmail and assault.

Bay sustained injured to is face, but resumed shooting shortly after the incident. He did not require hospitalization.

The director is a controversial figure around Hollywood, with Megan Fox once comparing Bay to Hitler, but no one would say he deserves to be the victim of violence. We send him our best wishes.

Fun fact: Michael Bay has only had two films reach above a 50% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

But when it comes to giant action flicks, there's nobody....not better...what's the word I'm looking for?

Let's go with "Explodier."

That's why Bay is working with Ubisoft and Warner Bros. to develop a movie adaptation of the Ghost Recon video game.

The director, who is currently working on Transformers 4, may or may not direct the film. That all depends on what direction the screenwriter--yet to be found--decides to go with the project.

Michael Bay does not apologize for Armageddon.

I repeat, he does not apologize.

Yesterday, we reported that Bay apologized for Armageddon, saying that he didn't have enough time to do it right. But today the director has released a statement to the contrary:

"One press writer has gone too far in reporting false information. He has printed the bare minimum of my statement which in effect have twisted my words and meaning."

Quick! Name a silly "popcorn" blockbuster action movie! Did you all say Armageddon? I bet you did.

Well, Michael Bay agrees with you. The director stated in an interview published yesterday, "I will apologize for Armageddon." Whoa!

So why exactly does Michael Bay apologize for Armageddon? "I would redo the entire third act if I could," he said.

Megan Fox warned us.

In the latest issue of Wonderland, she said she had mental problems.

Briefly a Blonde

So at least Transformers director Michael Bay can refer to that quote when he's asked about his supposed similarities to Hiter. Yes, Hitler.

Speaking on the man that helped make her career, Fox said in the same magazine interview:

"He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. He’s a nightmare to work, for but when you get him away from set, and he’s not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he’s so awkward. He has no social skills at all. It’s endearing to watch him. He’s vulnerable and fragile in real life and then on set he’s a tyrant."

Look, Megan Fox (and insane people at town hall meetings around the nation): Can we please stop comparing people to Hitler? This sinister individual murdered people in a brutal fashion that's unmatched in history.

Comparing Michael Bay or Barack Obama to him insults those that died at his hand; and simply shows a lack of intelligence on your part for needing to resort to such extreme, nonsensical references to make a point.

One wonders why Fox continues to screw herself by saying dumb things. Millions of men around the world will gladly do this deed for her.
