In the end all works out. Jason finally figured it out who fits with him best and spares Melissa from an unhappy life if his heart is someplace else. Jason handled it poorly, Molly handled it poorly as well, but that's all history now.
I believe Melissa is far better off anyway, and can find her true love in a more traditional way than a land of make believe. It goes to prove that 6 weeks time is far too short in an unrealistic style to find true love, track record of 17 seasons proves that with 1 couple actually marrying. I wish Melissa all the best! She continues to be admired because she is such a classy gal!

can i just say im in love with mel. shes the perfect girl for any man and theyd be lucky to have her. jason screwed up and he needs to know it and pay for his mistakes. you cant just dump your fiancee and then hook up with another girl within an hour and get away with it. mel i feel your pain and i just want you know that i fully support you. me and my friends are totally backing you up. im a texas girl myself and i still think your perfect. we love you mel!!

Melissa is far better off without Jason. If Jason wanted to be with Molly he would or should have. He is a pompas jerk and if Molly wants to be Melissa's left overs let her. She has that right. Its a dumb mistake but it is hers to make. Like the commentator said last night, when one door closes another door opens. Remember, that is how Trista became the bachelorette. People dont hate on Mel because she was upset with Jason. She had a right to be.

Jason is much better off with Molly and I am glad that he noticed it. Melissa is going from reality show to reality show just trying to make a name for herself. She wasn't looking for love, she was looking for media attention. SO the best thing to ever happen to her was getting dumped after the fact because now people are paying attention to her. No need to feel sorry for her.

jason made his decision and that is honorable. It is so sad that people would rather that you would be unhappy. I feel that Jason rally wanted to make it Mellisa but he stated to her for herself and found out that this will not work.Bravo for him.

To Anon. who posted on February 17th saying Melissa wasn't a *real* cheerleader and that she only became a cheerleader through a reality show, kindly do your research before posting nasty comments. Melissa was a memeber of the 2007-2008 squad of the DCC. You can verify this if you like by checking out the DCC website.

OKKK heres how it is I love Melissa becuz 1 she has the same name as me and im a cheerleader 2 i loved her and i thought she was gorgeous but i think jason made the right decision becuz he thought tht it was better for him and i like molly shes nice i mean i still like melissa btr but i think tht she has some kindof issues she lied 2 jason!!!

I think people need to lay off Melissa. She is gorgeous and such a sweet person. I think what Jason did to her on The Bachelor is inexcusable. He's a total jerk. She can do so much better than him and will find someone who will love her like she deserves. I think she would make a great teacher and I love watching her dance on DWTS. She's great! You go Melissa! Keep doing your thing!

I liked Melissa until she got jilted by Jason, then her true colors came out. She should have just walked out quietly without showing her claws and ugly demeanor. I think Melissa looks alot like a young Marie Osmond - you know the big teeth....

First off, everyone keeps talking about how you (Melissa) were just seeking fame. So what if you were! Everybody seeks that. I have been singing and performing since I was 3 years old and now I am 24. I would give anything for fame or even just to come accross the a person to give me a push in the right direction. I know and everyone else who knows me knows that I have what it takes. I don't mean to sound conceited or anything. I am just from a really small town in east Texas with a population of 882 people and oppertunities don't come around here very often. And I haven't seen mine yet. Sometimes you just have to put yourself out there and grab anything that comes at you. I am going to try out for American Idol next season and hope that I can come accross mine. So what! Some times you have to go looking for your once in a lifetime. I don't think that you did anything wrong. And I think that you did fall for jason no matter what your plans were before the show. I don't care what other people think. It was the wrong thing for him to do to break up with you on national television. Actually the main thing that was wrong was asking Molly back right there in front of you and everyone else and not even giving you a heads up about it. I don't even care if all of ya'll knew what was going on before the show aired. I don't blame you for wanting it to air so that america could see what a jerk Jason was but it think it was stupid for him to agree to air that show. So actually he deserves everything he is getting. I think that you hit the nail on the head when you said that he wouldn't even try to work things out. Noone will ever have a successful relationship or marriage if they are not willing to work things out. I think Americans tend to loose sight of that and that is the main cause of divorce in the world today. All married couples fight here and there but you have to be willing to work things out. When you said that he wouldn't even try, it made me realize why he is divorced in the first place. You are lucky that you didn't marry him. Now you don't have to worry about wasting your time. You were my favorite from the day you stepped out of the limo. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and he didn't deserve you. Maybe this happened to open doors for you and this may be gods way of pointing you to the love of your life, the one who deserves you. And just look, now you are working your way into a new amazing career that most people (like me(LOL)) just dream about. And that is alot of peoples problem with you. It is just that they are jelous. But I couldn't be happier for you ( even though I envy you a bit (LOL)) but you have inspired me to get out there and go get my dream. So look for me next season on Idol.(Rebecca Leigh) Hey, you gotta start somewhere. Well anyway, good luck and me and my 4 year old little girl Skylar are pulling for you in dancing with the stars. Actually Ml, I thought Melissa was wonderful with what she said to Jason after he was an idiot and broke up with her. I think Jason got off easy because I know I would have said and done worse. The only thing she said that was bad was the comment about him being a bastard. I can think of much worse to call him. If you thought that was bad, you obviously have never dealt with a breakup.
