So much for that whole you-remind-me-of-Adolf-Hitler thing.

Despite a very public and very ugly feud in 2010 and 2011, Megan Fox will be reunited with Michael Bay in an upcoming live-action film based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Look for the gorgeous actress to come on board as April O'Neil, the human friend of the shelled superheroes.

Years ago, following her role in the first two Transformers, Fox said Bay is "like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So, he's a nightmare to work for."

Has the truth finally come out?

While Megan Fox claims she left the Transformers franchise on her own, director Michael Bay tells the latest issue of GQ that it was her comparison of him to Hitler that led to her ousting - and that it was producer Steven Spielberg's decision to let her go.

"She was in a different world, on her BlackBerry," Bay says of the star. "You gotta stay focused. And you know, the Hitler thing. Steven said, 'Fire her right now.'"

Note to Megan Fox: You can compare us to murderous dictators all day long!

Bay says he's not mad at Fox ("When you're days and months on a set, it's like a family. You say rude things and you make up."), but he also sarcastically apologizes to her:

"I'm sorry, Megan. I'm sorry I made you work twelve hours. I'm sorry that I'm making you show up on time. Movies are not always warm and fuzzy."

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has come on board the franchise and, based on the horrific trailer and previews for Dark of the Moon, let's say this: Fox's comments may have been the best career move she could have made.

Megan Fox is rarely afraid to shed some clothing. Seriously, just... wow.

But in an interview with The Los Angeles Times, the actress' former co-star says it was actually a hesitation to ooze sex appeal that led to Fox's departure from the Transformers film franchise.

"[Director Michael Bay] films women in a way that appeals to a 16-year-old sexuality. It's summer. It's Michael's style," Shia LaBeouf said. "And I think [Fox] never got comfortable with it. This is a girl who was taken from complete obscurity and placed in a sex-driven role in front of the whole world and told she was the sexiest woman in America. And she had a hard time accepting it."

Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and Megan Fox's cleavage starred in two movies together.

After shooting the awful Transformers sequel, Fox famously clashed with Bay. She even compared the director to Hitler.

Megan Fox can definitely make movie goers swoon. But can she make us laugh?

Judd Apatow wants to find out.

The man behind Seth Rogen's breakout role 2007's Knocked Up has now set his sights on making Fox into a comedic actress, casting her in his upcoming sequel to that hit. It will center on Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann, who are reprising the characters of Pete and Debbie.

Says Apatow of the project:

"People were really taken by those characters. I think people really emotionally connected to the challenges of their marriage and I thought, you know, they were only a small portion of the movie. I'm a television writer, so I always want another episode. I always want another 80 episodes."

It's unknown what role this gorgeous Armani model will play, but it should be an interesting career move for the actress. Maybe she can take her shirt off during a scene or two.
