Malin Akerman is a Swedish-born model who has established herself as an actress. Her family moved to Canada when she was two years old.
At 17, the beauty won the Ford Supermodel of Canada search. From there, she appeared in several TV commercials, including one for Noxzema skin care. Following a career in modeling, she turned to acting and moved to California.
Akerman made a name for herself in The Heartbreak Kid and 27 Dresses. But her told of Silk Spectre II in the film adaptation of Watchmen has truly gotten her noticed.
