Madonna has made peace with Deadmau5 after a comment she made at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami led to him launching a tirade against her on Twitter.

The DJ, real name is Joel Zimmerman, took issue with Madge asking "How many people in this crowd have seen Molly," believing she was advocating drug use.

Molly is a slang term for MDMA, or ecstasy, and with Madonna's new album titled MDNA, the electro music star assumed she meant that. And he was PISSED.

"Quite a f'n philanthropist. But hey, at least yer HIP AND TRENDY! F***ing cant smack my head hard enough right now," Deadmau5 railed against Madonna.

"That's your big contribution to EDM? Thats your big message to ultra attendies? Hipsterspeak for looking for drugs? F**k off you f***ing IDIOT. F**k."

"Seriously, I giveth not a f**king single F**K for slating on Madonna ... i appreciate her meteoric career and good deeds done, but WHAT THE F**K WAS THAT?"

In response, Madonna she posted a picture of herself in Minnie Mouse, writing: "From one mouse to another, I don't support drug use and I never have."

"I was referring to the song 'Have You Seen Molly?', written by my friend Cedric Gervais who I almost worked with on my new album."

Open mouth, insert foot, Mau5.

Madonna has come under attack from Deadmau5, one of the world's most famous DJs, for glamorizing ecstasy use, allegedly, during a recent concert.

Her Madgesty took the stage at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami this weekend, asking crowd, "How many people in this crowd have seen molly?"

"Molly" is a slang term for MDMA, one of the key ingredients in ecstasy, a drug hugely popular within the electronic dance music community.

Incidentally (or not) Madonna's new album, which drops today, is called MDNA. Watch her address the crowd at the 45-second mark below:

The crowd apparently loved the veiled inquiry from Madonna, but Deadmau5 is not a fan at all, going on Facebook and tearing her a new one.

"Very classy there madonna. 'HUR DUR HAS ANYONE SEEN MOLLY???' such a great message for the young music lovers at ultra," he wrote.

The Mau5 added, "Quite the f'n philanthropist. but hey, at least yer HIP AND TRENDY! f*cking cant smack my head hard enough right now."

Bottom line: Mind-altering drugs are not cool, ravers. So says a man-mau5 whose fan base is probably on them 97 percent of the time.
