Lindsay Lohan is reaching DEEP into her legal bag of tricks.

Her attorney, Mark Heller, has filed a motion of dismissal for the star's lying to police case on grounds that she was not read her Miranda rights.

This is tantamount to throwing s--t at the wall, however.

Police sources scoff at the claim, noting that you don't need to read someone's Miranda rights when they are not being arrested or taken into custody.

Moreover, it is in fact legal to question individuals involved in a car accident without reading their rights, which is what happened to Lindsay Lohan.

Lindsay Lohan has been cast as a love interest for Charlie Sheen on his FX hit Anger Management. The actress will play herself in an episode of the show.

Lohan will reportedly engage in a romantic relationship with Sheen’s character after becoming his therapy patient, which is hilarious for two reasons:

• Charlie and Lindsay worked together on Scary Movie 5, during which she was reportedly repulsed by sharing a love scene with him.
• Sheen reportedly gave the cash-strapped star A HUNDRED GRAND to help with her massive tax problems, and she never even said thanks.

“I’m still waiting for a text to say, ‘Thank you.’ Anything, you know?” Charlie later said of his six-figure attempt to "pay it forward" to his co-star.

Nothing says thanks like a ratings boost?

Lindsay Lohan does not like paying taxes apparently.

The broke ass actress has been hit with another bill, this time from the State of California, alleging that she owes MAJOR dinero from tax year 2011.

LiLo owes $56,717.90 in unpaid income tax for 2011.

The IRS is all over her for unpaid federal taxes for 2009 ($93,701.57) and 2010 ($140,203.30), making her 2011 issues par for the course at this point.

She is getting the porn parody treatment, however.

Vivid Entertainment is prepping a porn version of Lohan's upcoming film The Canyons, and are currently casting the coveted, leg-spreading part of Lindsay.

Sources say Vivid is down to three candidates.

Lindsay Lohan's former assistant Gavin Doyle was issued a subpoena to testify at her probation violation trial, which is not exactly good news for the star.

It was Doyle, after all, who revealed to cops that Lindsay Lohan herself was driving the Porsche that crashed on the Pacific Coast Highway back in June.

Lohan reportedly lied to police and said Doyle was driving, and was thus charged with willfully resisting, obstruction, and providing false information.

And reckless driving, for good measure.

Lindsay Lohan's ridiculous lawsuit against Pitbull has appropriately been dismissed by a federal judge. Legal fees very well spent by broke ass Lindsay.

She actually sued, citing distress and defamation, over Pitbull's humorous 2011 lyric, "So I'm tip-toein' to keep blowin'/ I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan."

U.S. District Court Judge Denis Hurley ruled on Thursday that Pitbull's song, "Give Me Everything," is a protected piece of art, dismissing the case.

LiLo claimed the song "includes an unwarranted, unauthorized, and unfavorable" quote that infringed upon her publicity rights and caused duress.

The judge's response? What's legalese for LMFAO?

The nearly broke Lindsay Lohan is reportedly seeking half a MILLION dollars to promote an energy drink in Dubai … and if she can get it, well, more power to her.

She'll probably waste it, to be sure, but more power to her. Not that she necessarily will. The company is, understandably, balking at that absurd amount.

“Lindsay wants $500,000 for an appearance in Dubai to promote Mr. Pink’s Ginseng Energy Drink, which executives  are apprehensive about," says a source.

Mr. Pink is prepared to offer $200,000 plus travel expenses. Not a bad payday, but even that could be at risk due to her constant legal woes. Says the source:

Lindsay Lohan's maligned new film The Canyons finally has a distributor.

The self-proclaimed "neo-noir thriller" starring LiLo and porn star James Deen has been acquired by IFC Films, which is planning a "multi-platform."

It will soon be available via theatrical, digital and on demand options.

The Canyons Clip

IFC releases indie films in theaters and on demand simultaneously, so it's a logical fit for the controversial project written by Bret Easton Ellis.

The low budget film has received major publicity ... not all of it good.
