As debate swirls over what constitutes "lock down rehab," Lindsay Lohan is still figuring out when and where to seek treatment, according to her attorney.

Lo Point

Contrary to reports that she's looking to get help in New York - where no facilities exist that keep a patient from leaving - Mark Heller says no plan is in place.

"We haven't figured it out yet," the lawyer says. "We are working on that now. We are considering whether it will be in New York. We are not sure yet."

Lindsay Lohan is apparently dating Avi Snow, a New York musician and club promoter. According to E! News, Avi plays guitar for indie band City of the Sun.

The new couple has only been together for a few weeks and their budding romance is said to be in "the early stages," but they are totally together.

Quite literally this week.

He's been by the actress' side throughout the recent drama - a missed flight, a private charter, a plea deal that kept her out of jail, a nightclub visit, etc.

Can Lindsay Lohan actually be locked down in "lock down" rehab?

According to TMZ, such a thing does not even exist in N.Y. State.

Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in an in-patient rehab facility in exchange for avoiding jail time in her lying-to-cops and reckless driving case.

She is allowed to seek treatment in New York or California, but in the case of the former, none of the facilities have guards that block access out.

How convenient.

Lindsay Lohan? Not thrilled to be posing for a new mug shot apparently.

The star was booked today by the Santa Monica, Calif., Police Department, after pleading no contest to reckless driving and lying to a police officer.

Behold, the latest in a LONG line of Lindsay Lohan booking photos:

Even though Lindsay Lohan's plea deal allowed her to escape jail (she's off to rehab soon), it required to appear within seven days to be processed.

Which she duly did, after hitting up nightclubs Monday night obvi.

  • Sexy makeup? Check.
  • Disheveled, hot mess hair? Check.
  • Meticulously groomed eyebrows? Oh yeah.
  • Fatigued, hung over, strung-out, rage-filled b!tch-stare?

Legendary. Compare it to some of her past modeling work:

Lindsay Lohan's first stop after accepting a plea deal in which she admitted lying to police and agreed to go to an in-patient rehab facility for 90 days?

Nightclubs. Obviously.

Clueless Actress

LiLo's SUV pulled up to the AV Club, where she was spotted covering her face with a blanket as celebrity gossip photographers clamored to see her.

At that point, the 26-year-old abruptly bounced.

Lindsay Lohan is totally scared of jail and as such, accepted a plea deal with rehab as an alternative to the big house for the next 90 days (or more).

Still, she doesn't think she has any reason to actually go to rehab.

Not a promising sign. Despite obvious issues with substance abuse - JUST LOOK AT HER, PEOPLE! - the actress is adamant that she's 100 percent fine.

Lindsay Lohan is a WRECK

For weeks, prosecutors were offering the star a plea deal that guaranteed her freedom from jail as long as she finished a 90-day lockdown rehab stint.

She rejected it time and again, until the D.A. refused to give in and she blinked en route to court Monday. In the end, it beats going to jail, but that's it.

Lohan, who has been to rehab seven times since 2007, denies she has a problem ... which is pretty much the first step in overcoming any problem.

Admitting you have one. Kind of important.

Lindsay Lohan has been down this route before, but it has never stuck, and she's never gotten it together. Will this time be any different? You tell us:

Lindsay Lohan received a warm welcome outside court today in the form of a glitter bomb. Police did not arrest the woman suspected in the shiny attack.

The gold glitter was thrown at the 26-year-old as she made her way through the media swarm Monday ... nearly 50 minutes late for her lying-to-cops trial.

Ke$ha would be proud. Or appalled. We're not sure.

Sheriff's officials said that the glitter bomb might not rise to the level of a criminal offense; glitter has been thrown, harmlessly, at celebrities many times before.

Also Monday, a man was removed from the courtroom for snapping a photo of the star. Never a dull moment with the recurring fiasco that is LiLo's life.

A Lindsay Lohan rehab deal was struck in lieu of jail time; she'll spend three months there and do 30 days of community labor, plus 18 months of therapy.

What do you think? Fair deal?

In a surprising (and yet somehow not surprising) twist, Lindsay Lohan struck a plea deal with prosecutors, avoiding jail in her lying-to-cops case ... for now.

Lindsay will be headed to rehab and must do community labor but will avoid major jail time, provided she complies the the terms of her probation.

Yeah, we all know how that goes.

Lindsay Lohan Back in the Courtroom

The star showed up 48 minutes late (obviously) to face the music, and despite having rejected a plea deal earlier this month, agreed to the following terms:

  • 90 days of in-patient, lockdown rehab
  • 30 days of community labor
  • 18 months of psychotherapy
  • 2 more years of probation

In concluding the proceedings, the judge told Lindsay "don't drive" and "this is it" regarding probation. Next time, there will be no hearing. Just jail.

Lindsay Lohan is rolling the dice big time by turning down a plea deal and taking her lying-to-cops case to trial, because the opposition is not playing games.

Lindsay Lohan in the Courtroom

Prosecutors will ask the judge to throw the book at the star and give her 240 days in jail if she's convicted of lying to cops in her June car accident case.

The L.A. City Attorney will be in court in the event LiLo is convicted.

If a jury finds her guilty, L.A. prosecutors want her jailed as a result, because she would have clearly violated her probation (for her jewelry heist case).

One of the conditions of her probation is to obey all laws.

Troubled star Lindsay Lohan missed her scheduled flight to Los Angeles last night, despite a court date she is required to attend looming Monday a.m.

She must be there in person or a bench warrant will be issued.

Lindsay is Not Smart

The actress was supposed to fly back at 9 p.m. EST last night but skipped it, opting to stay at a club in New York to see a band called City of the Sun.

She is now scrambling to get a flight to L.A. later today.
