Lindsay Lohan says she's not a big drinker, has only done cocaine 4-5 times in her life and has never done LSD, heroin or anything you have to inject.

She also swears she does not have a substance abuse problem and does not need rehab - which she finally checked into last week - for 90 days.

In an interview with the Daily Mail (UK), Lohan tells Piers Morgan that the media loves to make a huge deal out of nothing, mostly, and she's great.

"I don’t think I need to be on lockdown for three months. I don’t think that’s rehab," the 26-year-old says. "I’ve been court-ordered to do it six times."

"I could write the book on rehab. Constantly sending me is pointless. The first few times I was court-ordered to rehab it was like a joke, like killing time."

After flaking on a second rehab center in 48 hours, the mercurial Lindsay Lohan is now at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif., reports indicate.

For how long is a different topic.

The troubled star checked in late Thursday night, barely dodging a looming arrest warrant after bailing on both Morningside and Seafield earlier in the week.

The newly re-hired attorney Shawn Holley negotiated with Santa Monica City Attorney Terry White to allow her to enter Betty Ford, an acceptable rehab facility.

Lindsay, of course, is no stranger to Betty Ford.

Back in 2010, in one of her seven failed rehab stints to date, Lindsay got into a fight with a Betty Ford staffer, resulting in a criminal investigation and civil lawsuits.

Astonishingly, they took her back. She is required as part of her plea deal to spend 90 days in lockdown rehab. Think she can actually make it? Vote below:

Lindsay Lohan is not actually in rehab.

On Thursday, the troubled actress checked into rehab at Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, Calif., and then summarily checked back out.

The million-dollar question: WHY?!

"She felt Morningside was not suitable for her," a source said. "There were too many paparazzi and she didn't feel safe. Nobody close to her is happy about this."

"They think she's really not being smart."

Lindsay Lohan has checked into rehab in Newport Beach, Calif., and will remain there for the time being, pending an investigation of the facility she chose.

This despite the fact that, at the 11th hour, Lohan bailed on rehab in a New York facility that was approved by prosecutors and a judge and flew to L.A.

Lindsay's plea deal is conditional upon her going to rehab for 90 days at a court-approved facility. Seafield Center in Westhampton, N.Y., qualifies.

Morningside in Newport Beach? Not so much. But Lindsay made the change because Seafield wouldn't let her smoke - and without the court's approval.

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly en route to Los Angeles via a private jet.

The star was expected to check into rehab in the Hamptons today.

Her lawyer and prosecutors agreed she would enter the Seafield Center rehab facility in Westhampton, N.Y., and begin her treatment this morning.

Looks like that's not happening, according to TMZ.

The deal-breaker? Seafield won't allow LiLo to smoke, or take Adderall. Lohan she is said to be headed for Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, Calif., instead.

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly threatening to bail on going to rehab due to an alleged lack of cigarette smoking privileges there, according to reports.

Yup, she's not sure she can deal with no smoking for 90 days.

Lohan supposedly asked her lawyers to try and convince Seafield, in the Hamptons, to make an exception to their rule ... or get her into another place.

Seafield isn't bending any policies for anybody.

Lindsay Lohan is set to enter rehab Thursday, supposedly, but the troubled star is still living in denial and making the most of her freedom beforehand.

According to reports, Lohan spent Monday night at The Bitter End (fitting), a New York piano bar credited with giving Lady Gaga her start back in the day.

LiLo rolled in 9-10 deep to watch some of her pals perform at the venue.

The star reportedly sat quietly at her table for roughly three hours and - hope you're sitting down for this one - didn't consume a single drop of alcohol.

Lindsay Lohan‘s star power appears to be dimming fast, with a new clothing company pulling out of a major endorsement deal with the troubled star.

A $500K deal that was once on the table from clothing / lifestyle brand Odaingerous has been rescinded due to her legal woes and reputation.

The company's creative director, Odain Watson, said in a statement:

“In light of the recent conviction of actress Lindsay Lohan, [we are] officially withdrawing an offer for an endorsement agreement of actress Lindsay Lohan as the face of the brand."

Lindsay Lohan not only managed to not die at Coachella, she was 100% clean, navigating the tempting waters of drugs and booze without parking.

So she claims. Show of hands: Who believes that?

Lindsay is telling people she did not drink even a sip of alcohol and stayed clear of all drugs, no matter how much of each people around her were using.

For the record, there were no photos of Lohan partying ... and there are always photos of her partying. So it's at least within the realm of possibility.

No one even recalled seeing her at any parties at night, which is pretty surprising but probably a good thing ... with rehab looming on May 2 and all.

In conclusion, assuming she's telling the truth:

1. Good for her, showing willpower, but
2. Why even bother going then?

Lindsay Lohan is steadfast in her demand that Adderall be allowed in rehab. If the Seafield Center in the Hamptons tries to take away her meds ... she's out. 

The actress' dubious insistence on being permitted to bring in the meds, as reported by TMZ, may run counter to the facility's goals - and their rules.

Although they allow patients to take some drugs prescribed by a doctor, Seafield is highly suspicious of Adderall because it is so notoriously abused.
